The show opened with Empire Heavyweight Champion Rush coming out to the ring demanding to know the identity of "The Reaper". Drew Delight came out and implied that it was none other than fan favorite J.C. Kent. Commissioner Big Doug Griffin came out and said Drew will face Cyrus in the Main Event and that Empire Champion Rush will defend the Empire Heavyweight Belt in the opening match and called for Referee James Patrick to get out there and officiate the match, which was Rush vs. Korrupt.

Rush retained the Empire Heavyweight Title after defeating Korrupt in 9:45 as Rush had to quickly come up with a gameplan as this match was announced by Commissioner Big Doug Griffin on the spur of the moment.

Johnny Viper was set to face the ever popular Ben Thrasher. However Viper said he was currently filming a movie and could not compete. Viper brought out his new business associate "Shawnfire". Ben Thrasher defeated "Shawnfire" in 8:23.

KT Hamill defeated Matt Fortune in 10:00 in a very exciting hard fought match. Many aerial moves from Fortune but in the end Hamill held Fortune off and got the pinfall.

Both K.T. Hamill and Ben Thrasher claim they are one step closer the being the #1 Contender to the Empire Heavyweight Title.

Xtreme Generation (Jason Hampton and Jerry Anderson) defeated The Lynch Mob (Bane Lynch and Joey Lynch) in 9:45. This was a fantastic match between the top 2 tag teams in Empire Pro Wrestling. The momentum shifted several times as the fans loved seeing these 2 teams face off.

In the Main Event, Cyrus had Drew Delight set up for his devastating Baldo Bomb. However, "The Reaper" came out and this also brought out Rush. As "The Reaper" threw powder in the eyes of Rush, Referee James Patrick and Cyrus was distracted. This was enough for Delight to hit Cyrus with a low blow as well as hit him with the ring bell hammer. Drew Delight picked up the victory in 12:25.

Awesome Wrestling Alliance returns to Royston, GA this Saturday, 07/02/11

Awesome Wrestling Alliance returns to Royston, GA this Saturday, 07/02/11

AWA returns this Saturday to Royston Georgia, at the Gray Bell Auction, 1681 Shirley Rd Royston GA 30662, for another night of exciting wrestling action!

Jake Diamond has stolen the AWA Heavyweight Championship Belt, and while not the recognized champion, Diamond has continued to "defend" the title in a series of matches, proving he is nothing more then a self glorified bully. But this Saturday, his fantasy is over as the recognized title holder Eli Evans will return to Royston & the AWA to claim what is rightfully his! We are told that Eli has stated the show will not start until either the belt is around his waste, or his hands are around Diamonds neck, so fans better get there early because this is one situation you DON'T want to miss.

However, Eli Evans has more to worry about then just reclaiming his belt. The Heavyweight Champion is signed to team with the ever popular Cruiserweight Champion, The Curry Kid, to take on the AWA Tag Team Champions, Eric Mayne & Jimmy the Kid (The Gym Class Heroes!) in the "Championship Melee" tag team fiasco. It's a match of champions, guaranteed to thrill the fans of Royston, and heat things up! There is plenty of history between the four men, as the Curry Kid won his Cruiserweight Championship from Eric Mayne, and Eli Evans won his Heavyweight Championship from Jimmy the Kid! Mayne and Kid have since gone on to reclaim tag team gold, but how far will the Gym Class Heroes go to reclaim their dominance over the two singles champions? This could be more then just a tag team match, it has the potential to turn into an all out war!

The muscle of the Gym Class Heroes, the unstoppable Jake Diamond is also scheduled for official action, as he takes on the powerful man known as Titan! Titan has been climbing the ranks of the AWA for some time, and this could be his biggest opportunity, in the event he can knock off self proclaimed champion Jake Diamond. Titan recently removed his mask, and has unleashed a stronger, more determined side. Will that be enough? Or will Jake Diamond prove that with Titan, the bigger they are, the harder they fall?

In other action, Sugar Shane Bell also returns to Royston, as he faces Charade in Cruiserweight action, with the winner earning #1 contention for the Cruiserweight Championship! It seems every week the Cruiserweight Division gets faster and more intense, and the competition shows no signs of letting up! Curry Kid will defend the title against anyone, but who will walk out this Saturday as the #1 Contender?

All this and more, live, Saturday Night in Royston Georgia, for the Awesome Wrestling Alliance. Located at the Gray Bell Auction, 1681 Shirley Rd Royston GA 30662, Bell time is 7:30pm, call 706) 245-4205 and tell them you want tickets now to the next AWA EVENT!

Review: Rampage Pro Wrestling TV Taping, 06/19/11, from Daniel Lee Lumm

- from The Pack's Daniel Lee Lumm

BEFORE/AFTER the Event

The line was filled with entertaining conversations. The wait seemed a lot shorter even though they let us in around the same time as normal. Nobody came out for autographs and pictures this week. Avery is pushing for “Marvelous” Michael Stevens and Drew Adler next event. When speaking briefly with Ben Masters about the Teletron (I’m going to keep calling it that until told otherwise, just know it’s only a HD TV) and he confirmed that ultimately their goal is to allow it to show backstage promos during the event, which will be a breath of fresh air for the live crowd. Due to it being Father’s Day, NWA Rampage was giving free DVDs to any father who brought their children and paid admission to the event. I personally think they should do something similar on Veteran’s Day weekend for anyone with a Military ID, but being in Warner Robins means that there are probably a lot of great people in our Armed Forces who would show up and possibly run Rampage broke (ok it’s a joke).

“Epic” Grant Michell vs “Adorable” Anthony Andrews

This match was pretty good for opening what turned out to be a spectacular event. Grant Michell is relatively unknown (in the ring at least) in RPW so he came out to a quiet crowd. Some of the crowd backed him with chants, but Andrews got quite a bit of backing himself. Both competitors put on a great show for the time they were given, and crowd participation was highly apparent here. In the end it was Andrews who got the upper hand and pulled off the win. During his celebration he provoked Security Guard Chris Jacobs. Jacobs went to retaliate and Andrews fled.

Result: “Adorable” Anthony Andrews wins via Pinfall at 6:47

The Usual Suspects (Murder One / AJ Steele) vs Jimmy Rave Approved (Mike Posey / Corey Hollis)

A surprising add to the card considering both teams would face each other in an 8-Man Tag Match (or would they?). For the standards that I’ve seen Jimmy Rave Approved and Suspects wrestle I’d say this is pretty average for them (by this I mean they’ve done much better but still good this time). I may just be under-analyzing it because it wasn’t too memorable when compared to the main event that took place later and I don’t have any recording to call a Play-By-Play on (being Play-By-Play is one of my many endeavors for the future). Match had the predictable outcome but still didn’t fail to entertain. Ironically (from my perspective, but I do believe I’m right) the referee counted the pin illegally, as AJ Steele was the legal man and both competitors of the same team were in the ring together during the pin. After the match Murder One pointed me out, foaming at the mouth, saying things such as “This is what you wanted” referencing a small argument he had with me (while I’m in character) where I told him the new Murder One had grown soft, and he responded by saying that he’ll bring back the old one. The small confrontation can be found here (http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1940246020504&oid=97556362330&comments.

Result: Usual Suspects win via Pinfall (Murder One pins Corey Hollis) at 8:50

NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Match

Bull Buchanon vs J-Rod

This is a match that deserves NOTHING LESS than praise. Before the match started (before Miss Allie could event announce it) Jimmy Rave came out to offer J-Rod a spot in his Approved group. Referee Dustin Robinson forced Rave from the ring and to the back without J-Rod ever giving a solid answer. Both competitors were simply amazing in the ring. Aside from some moments where me and the pack (Explained at the bottom) had some laughs at a particularly questionable pin posture Bull executed (and Avery will be uploading) the match was very action filled. Overall the match ended up showing the solid power of Bull while giving J-Rod the underdog mentality. A great thing to note is J-Rod was showing some slight Heel qualities such as working a spot on the body ruthlessly, using the apron and railing as a weapon, and causing extra damage by using the mat on the outside. He really did a great job touching right on the border of fighting as a Heel. We still are yet to find out if J-Rod had accepted Jimmy Rave’s offer so obviously these qualities brought that to question. In the end J-Rod failed to regain the title from Bull. Right as J-Rod looked to secure the victory, Bull pulled out a surprise Lariat to end the match. This is the longest completed match of the day (details concerning the “completed” address below).

Result: Bull Buchanon wins via Pinfall at 16:20

Frankie Valentine vs El Nita Dos

(Note: if I misspelled the name of the above competitor please inform me)

This match ultimately was uneventful. Both competitors did great (most of the crowd criticizing El Nita Dos’s ring attire with comments like “Glacer wants his gimmick back” for resembling a Mortal Kombat character and others called him a power ranger for his mask style). El Nita Dos isn’t a regular at NWA Rampage so in a short summary, he combines martial arts with wrestling (much like Glacier and Tajiri). Jeremy Vain and Doug Somers came to ringside to watch the match. Valentine ended up picking up the victory. This was the shortest match of the night.

Result: Frankie Valentine wins via Pinfall at 4:49

Drew Adler / “Marvelous” Michael Stevens vs Cash Vault (Rob Adonis / Bobby Moore)

The bulk of the early match was Bobby Moore getting beat a little, tagging in Adonis, Adonis dominating, and Moore talking him into tagging him back in and repeating the process. It was pretty funny for the crowd. Adonis ended up using the Iron Claw in the match, some remnants of his Judge character while hiding his identity from Doc. Cash ended up doing some distraction work which confused the ref later on mistaking tags and such and forbidding the actual legal man in the ring while forcing the already worked competitor back into the ring. In the end Cash Vault picked up the win.

Result: Cash Vault wins via Pinfall (Bobby Moore pins Drew Alder) at 15:59

Jeremy Vain and Doug Somers come to the ring to cut a promo about how Frankie Valentine has failed Somers. Somers talks about how Vain accomplished more in his short time being managed by Somers than Valentine has in his 15 years with Somers. Valentine said he’ll eventually get his shot at the Television title again and Somers accepted the challenge on behalf of Vain (much to Vain’s dismay). They all left and we moved onto the next match.

Kyle Matthews vs Jimmy Rave

This match was annoying to most of the crowd. Jimmy Rave spent a good 5 minutes after the bell rang getting out of the ring and walking around complaining about various things. There came a point where referee Dustin Robinson practically got in Jimmy’s face and (and for the first time I witnessed an angry face on Dustin) told him to wrestle the match. From then on he actually decided to face Kyle Matthews. Just when it seemed Matthews had the match won Jimmy Rave Approved stormed the ring and attacked, causing the referee to Disqualify Jimmy Rave. Valentine, Suspects, and Hot Like Lava rushed to aid Matthews, and Vain came in to the aid of Jimmy Rave Approved. Sal then used his powers as GM to say that the schedule 8-Man Tag Team Match is being changed to a 12-Man to include Wrecking Crew, Sal, and Vain.

Result: Kyle Matthews wins via Disqualification at 15:22

12-Man Tag Team Match: The team that makes the Pin is awarded the NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship

The Usual Suspects (Murder One / AJ Steele) / Hot Like Lava (Cru Jones / Shaun Banks) / Rampage Wrecking Crew (Kyle Matthews / Frankie Valentine)

vs

Jimmy Rave Approved (Jimmy Rave / Sal Rinauro / Corey Hollis / Mike Posey / Chip Day) / Jeremy Vain

This match was just packed full of action. I commend Dustin Robinson for doing what he could to keep track of the legal men throughout this match because I can only imagine how difficult it would be in his position (grant it’s probably much easier as a spectator). After the bell rang, Sal ordered the referee (threatening his career) to check the entire opposing team for weapons. The referee did, while explaining that he disagreed with the decision when receiving criticism from the team he was searching. Shaun Banks gave him a particularly difficult time by pelvic thrusting while Dustin checked his knee pads and boots. He got around to checking Jimmy Rave (to his team’s dismay) to find a choking rope. He didn’t search the rest of the team. Since my mind was so blown by this match I can’t possibly put all of the details that I found vital to the match in here. At one point Chip Day was in the process of getting up only to get pelvic thrusts from both Cru Jones and Shaun Banks, both at Chip’s face level, forcing the entire crowd as well as the HLL’s team mates to crack up laughing. It became clear early on that Suspects had no intentions of letting anyone else on their team make the pin, and Hot Like Lava had the exact same approach to the situation.

When chaos ensued in the ring, Hot Like Lava and the Usual Suspects ended up fighting each other out of the ring and back stage while the Wrecking Crew was left to defend themselves against the entire opposing team (2 on 6). When they seemed to start gaining momentum, the referee was directly attacked causing the match to end in a No Contest (Assumed, the match never officially was ended). Drew Adler, Michael Stevens, J-Rod, and Grant Michell all stormed the ring to aid the Wrecking Crew. This marked J-Rod’s official response to the offers by Jimmy Rave. Jimmy Rave Approved ended up gaining the upper hand and controlled the ring. Sal got the microphone and start ranting in anger. He went on to fire J-Rod, Bull Buchanon, the concessions personnel (who work for Johnny G’s Fun Center, not NWA RPW), Bill Behrens (laughable at best), Hot Like Lava, and everyone he could think of naming outside of Jimmy Rave Approved.

The crowd (almost literally) erupted when Doc Gayton made his surprise return to NWA Rampage with a steel chair, storming the ring forcing Jimmy Rave Approved to the outside. Doc alone stood in the ring, with Wrecking Crew and their supporters on one side and Jimmy Rave Approved on the other. Doc went on to tell everyone that he was still the CEO of NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling, still the Chairman (while holding a chair up for that part), and that he was tired of seeing Sal run the company into the ground. He went on to say that Sal’s idea of booking Suspects and Hot Like Lava together was nothing more than a scam. Lastly, he went on to say that only one person was being fired that night, and it was Sal Rinauro. The crowd went crazy at this announcement and started singing “Na Na Na Na! Hey! Hey! Hey! Good Bye!” with everyone in Jimmy Rave Approved (including Vain and Somers) completely outraged. Doc announced himself as the General Manager of NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling. In a last effort to get rid of Doc, Sal talked Doc into putting the chair down (Doc unfolded and sat down in it in the middle of the ring) and got everyone from Jimmy Rave Approved to storm the ring. This was to no avail as J-Rod, Valentine, Matthews, Adler, and Stevens all did the same as Doc got to his feet to grab the chair. Jimmy Rave Approved went to the back with a much delighted crowd and setting.

Extra Notes:

Epic is Epic: “Epic” Grant Michell is actually one of the guys who works the sound and music for NWA Rampage on a regular basis. For the short time he was wrestling today, the music ended up scrambled in a segment I ended up comparing to the practical jokes played on Mark Henry on WWE Raw recently. Michell ended up coming out to Bull Buchanon’s music. I for one thank you for doing a great job on the PA system. Let it be known that “Adorable” Anthony Andrews also works the PA when Michell’s not (but was not responsible for the music botches mention).

Refs Deserve Attention: From now on I will be recording which referee is assigned to each match. The referees spend more time in the ring in a single event than the competitors and are very vital to the ring psychology. Officials for today’s event were Dustin Robinson (nicknamed Meat Loaf by the RPW fans), Stan Robinson (no relation), and Danny Star.

Thank You: Thanks Avery for being my Time Keeper. Thanks Ben Masters for informing me that the Teletron will eventually give the attending audience the ability to see the backstage promos. Thanks Murder One for singling me out from our online confrontation. Thank you everyone for your feedback on these reviews.

NWA ANARCHY Cornelia, GA 6-25-11 FINALS

SHAUN TEMPERS VS ACE ROCKWELL

CAREERS COME FULL CIRCLE IN NORTH AMERICAN TOURNAMENT FINAL.

By James Olsen

On June 25th 2011 at the NWA Arena in Cornelia, GA a new NWA North American Heavyweight Wrestling Champion will be crowned as NWA Southern Champion "The Seven Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell meets "The Temptation" Shaun Tempers in the finals of an 8 man tournament that included some of the top athletes in the NWA and took place over 3 states for 5 different NWA affiliates. The tournament was forced by the National Wrestling Alliance after the previous champion The Shiek defeated Adam Pearce to become NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Rockwell bested Chrisjen Hayme in Nashville, TN in round 1, and Kyle Matthews in round 2 Cornelia, GA. Tempers defeated Caprice Coleman in Cornelia, GA in round 1 and Corey Hollis in Chattanooga, TN in round 2. As fate would have, and as long time NWA fans know, these two men are no strangers to one another.

Ace Rockwell & Shaun Tempers started their professional wrestling careers at the exact same time, in the year 2001, under the tutelage of long time pro Greg "Big Wood" Hullander. Their story together goes back even further than that. Rockwell and Tempers became best friends while attending Soddy Daisy High School out of Soddy Daisy, TN (A suburb of Chattanooga) in the late 90's. Tempers, originally from Chicago, IL came to Tennessee via his father (Philadelphia Phillies farm coach and former minor league baseball great Sal Rende) who had great success as a player and later on as a coach for the Chattanooga Lookouts minor league franchise. Rockwell, who came from an upper middle class family, was born and raised in the Chattanooga area. The two kids with big dreams bonded on a variety of topics, and both had athletic ability, dabbling in school and youth sports, but their real passion was professional wrestling. This lead the two mischevious youths to try and and every way possible to break into the sport of professional wrestling yielding little results until their mutual friend Dan Wilson (former NWA Wildside announcer and current NWA manager) introduced the duo to Hullander who agreed to let them enroll in "The Big Wood's School of Hard Knocks". After months of hard work and completing the rigors of professional training, Ace Rockwell and Shaun Tempers entered the professional ranks as a tag team known as Pomp & Circumstance. Hullander had this to say of his students. "Rockwell and Tempers are two world class athletes with a passion for the wrestling business and talent that can't be touched by 98 % of the wrestlers in the world. They are born naturals with wrestling in their blood." The two childhood friends had accomplished a major life goal. They'd had a professional wrestling match. Little did they know this was only the beginning of their story.

Pomp & Circumstance (with early manager Aaron Voight) achieved almost instant success in many smaller promotions throughout Georgia and Tennessee, and got their first real break in front of a larger audience at Phil Heffner's NAWA Ring Champions promotion out of Rome, GA where they got the opportunity to face opponents of a calibur unlike anything they'd seen thus far. Tank, Iceberg, The late Big Boss Man, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton, Ricky Morton, Kory Chavis, Murder One, Ray Gordy and tag teams like Jay Fury & Justin Ramey and Hardcore Productions just to name a few, were some of the competitors they were tested against and Rockwell & Tempers began to make a name for themselves. They were a cocky young duo, with a variety of flashy offensive tag team moves, but the secret to their continuing success was their team work. This is when the two were offered an opportunity in the National Wrestling Alliance via the NWA Wildside promotion. (It should also be noted that this is when the team parted ways with Voight who was an instrumental part of their early development as a tag team).

Though the NAWA proved to be an excellent proving ground, Wildside brought an even tougher level of competition as the hungriest young wrestlers from all over the country came to Georgia to appear on the nationally syndicated NWA Wildside TV Program, which by that point had gained a cult following around the country. For the 1st time in their careers P&C found themselves fighting for survival. It took them a long time to score their first big Wildside win and then after many savage battles earned their toughness stripes in a brutal feud with Tank & Iceberg that saw the two "pretty boys" shed buckets of blood and ultimately defeat the two behemoth's in controversial fashion for the coveted NWA Wildside (Georgia) Tag Team Titles. They also later joined the " Al Getz Enterprises" stable who waged war against Jeff G. Bailey's "NWA Elite". Through their exposure in NWA Wildside P&C received opportunities in wrestling promotions around the country, and during this time spent countless hours on the road together traveling from state to state. Though these travels helped them establish an even stronger reputation as a team to be reckoned with, they always remained loyal to the southeastern region. On April 30th, 2005 NWA Wildside closed it's doors and went out with a bang. On the eve of it's demise NWA Wildside presented it's final blowout, an event called " Last Rites" , and Pomp & Circumstance found themselves in the main event, managed by Al Getz teaming with former Wildside Champion "The Ticking Time Bomb" Scotty Wrenn in a 3 team War Games match taking on Bailey's "Elite Team" of Jeremy Vain, Mikael Judas and Murder One and the team of "The Original Gangsta" New Jack, Tank & Iceberg. Though Tempers & Rockwell went down in defeat that night, they shared the honor of the final Wildside match and earned more respect from the fans than ever due to the vicious amount of punishment they both recieved and dished out in that bout.

With NWA Wildside now a memory, it's successor promotion NWA Anarchy (owned by local fire chief turned promoter Jerry Palmer) reopened wrestling in the historic NWA Arena later in 2005. When Pomp & Circumstance returned to what they'd now staked as their home turf they were met with an unfamiliar response...cheers. Though they'd done whatever it took to get there, they were on top of the tag team perch and the fans admired that these two guys who looked like a couple "pretty boy jocks", could lay it all on the line in the ring. It was on December 30th 2005 that Tempers and Rockwell defeated 3 other teams to become the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Champions but the reign would only last one week as they lost the titles to the team of Jeremy Vain and Jason Blackman on January 7th, 2006. This would be the last match where Rockwell & Tempers teamed together for quite some time, as their bond unbeknownst to Rockwell had been injected with a fatal poison. While P&C had been climbing the Anarchy tag title ladder, the heinous "Devil's Rejects" stable had taken NWA Anarchy by storm and violent force. This was a stable of the most dangerous men in the history of the NWA Arena, "The Son of Satan" Azrael, "The Strong Style Psycho" Tank, and "The No Pain Train" Iceberg.....all masterminded by former Wildside host turned maniacal manager "The Reverend" Dan Wilson who were disgruntled with the establishment and even once threatened to ignite the "Church of Southern Wrestling" with the audience locked inside. Given the history between Wilson, Rockwell & Tempers was fairly well known, the curtain was finally pulled on the "elephant in the room" when following the tag title loss, Wilson appeared offering them redemption by abandoning their new found admiration and serving The Devil's Rejects. Rockwell refused the offer and Tempers accepted in front of the public as a mock human sacrifice was made out of Ace Rockwell in a horrific display of blood lust while his former best friend embraced The Rev and laughed at Rockwell's misfortune. Unbeknownst to Ace Rockwell, Tempers had made his "deal with the devil" long before.

Earning the nickname "The Sleeper Cell", Shaun Tempers later revealed he'd accepted the Rev's offer when the Devil's Rejects were nothing more than a devious plot, disguising himself in broad daylight the entire time and waiting like a cobra for the time to strike. He'd made it clear he was tired of being in Ace Rockwell's shadow and as the demonic prophecy fortold Tempers achieved great success as a singles wrestler, but it cost him his best friend and a few gallons of blood he'll never get back. The Ace Rockwell vs. Shaun Tempers feud of 2006 was at the heart of an even greater conflict, The Devil's Rejects vs. NWA Anarchy. Tempers with the Rejects did as many vile things to Rockwell as possible, including breaking his arm with a clam hammer. This is where we 1st saw Ace Rockwell rise to the occasion to an amazing level befitting the Champion he is today. After waging war for 6 months, Rockwell carrying the entire promotion on his back (literally, if The Rejects won the match, they gained control of NWA Anarchy) on July 22nd 2006 was the man who gained the winning fall of the War Games match, making Shaun Tempers submit by sticking the same claw hammer that broke his arm in Tempers' mouth. This was the end of the first chapter of Rockwell vs. Tempers, but it certainly wouldn't be the last. Word began to spread of the passionate and amazing wars these two waged against each other in Georgia and it wasn't long before promoters across the country were again demanding this duo yet again, but this time as opponents. Just going by the sheer volume of promoters who've booked this bout, it's clear that Rockwell vs. Tempers has gained a reputation as a must see fight. It wasn't until 20089 that the fans who watched them on television saw the Tempers/Rockwell rivalry renewed in Anarchy once more after a brief REUNION??!!

By all appearances Tempers, after 3 years as a singles competitor, had a falling out with The Rev and The Rejects. Given his reputation as a snake, Tempers worked extremely hard to prove himself and even convinced Rockwell to "put the band back together" for a short lived Pomp & Circumstance reunion tour . This unfolded as one of the most deep rooted and evil intended conspiracies in NWA Anarchy history and the end result was simply to lull Television Champion Truitt Fields into a false sense of security and after months of convincing him he'd finally seen the light, Shaun Tempers plunged the proverbial dagger into Field's heart and became NWA Anarchy TV Champion for the 1st time. Rockwell didn't appreciate being used as a pawn in his "old buddy"'s scheme, and the momumental rivalry was back on in NWA Anarchy and dominated the cards for almost the entire year, culminating in a Last Man Standing match, where Tempers came out the victor thanks to Wilson's chicanery.

In March of 2010 the egos involved became too much and the once mighty Devil's Rejects finally crumbled when Tank defeated Tempers in the Compound Death match in March 2010 which signified the end of the Rejects reign of terror. Tempers and Wilson agreed to a mutual parting of ways, with the agreement that they'd help each other out as needed. Tempers had done his time as a general in The Reject Army, but certainly wasn't enjoying the fame and notoriety that came with success any less. Now he was no longer the faithful warrior but the visionary of his own landscape, and with that came a re-branding. "The Temptation" evolved into a total package of looks, charisma, ability and tenacity with the meanest of mean streaks and a brain for business. In addition to being a 3 time NWA Anarchy Tag Team Champion, 2 Time Ultimate NWA Tag Champion, and 2 Time NWA TV Champion, Tempers is also an entrepreneur. You can purchase his own signature "fragrance" the body spray "Temptation For Men" at www.thetemptation.net . Tempers excels in techincal and power wrestling, and adapts well to any style of opponent. He wrestles as much with his brain as he does with his brawn and there is no shortcut he won't take to win. His deadliest offensive weapon is his Hangman's Neckbreaker that he can hit seemingly from out of no where.

Ace Rockwell has already gained a great deal of singles success. He's the current NWA Southern Champion, he's been NWA Anarchy Heavyweight, TV and Tag Team Champion, and has held several other championships in several other territories. He also recently appeared on an episode of the Lifetime Original Series "Coming Home" where Rockwell surpised a U.S. Soldier returning stateside with one of his favorite things, in this case....wrestling. Rockwell continues to pursue opportunities in TV & Film, but nothing will keep him away from his 1st love. He wrestles a very unorthodox style for a fan favorite, and is never above stooping down to a rulebreaker's level as long as he's returning a favor. He can absorb an amazing amount of punishment and keep going, and he continues to learn new techniques and training methods. He feels he'll never stop learning, and Rockwell keeps a rigorous training schedule both in the gym and in the ring. He finishes opponents with the "Ace's High" (his version of the Diamond Cutter), which like Tempers' neckbreaker, can also be hit from almost any position.

So on June 25th 2011, one of the most storied NWA rivalries of the last decade comes full circle. To the arena where they made their names, against the opponents they made them against....each other. Ace Rockwell vs. Shaun Tempers...one more time. This time, as far as the oldest and largest sanctioning body in wrestling is concerned, it's for the 2nd most important wrestling championship in the entire world. Their record against each other is almost 50/50 in over 100 contests. On June 25th at the NWA Arena in Cornelia, GA, for the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship.....it's anybody's match.

Notes from the shows:

Tommy Daniels made his PCW Friday night debut, and scored the fastest pin in PCW history with a 18 second victory over CAMPUS Red

Referee Frank Earl briefly spoke to the crowd, explaining that he had to get surgery to repair his right shoulder due to an errant hit from Rick Michaels when the Exotic Ones last wrestled Thunder and Lightning. He assured the fans that he would be back soon and would keep calling matches right down the middle.

The african-warrior styled wrestler that attacked "Dynomite Soul" Eric Walker and Geter during their match has been identified as Ousman, who has wrestled for Booker T's promotion in Houston, Texas

By granting Thunder and Lightning their last two matches by forfeit, The Assassin's Guild is officially done with their Tag Team Season, finishing with a record of 3-7. They are eliminated from the possibility of making the playoffs. Next week, the main event is The Konkrete Gorillaz taking on Shane Marx and Jay Fury. If the Gorillaz win, they are a lock for a playoff spot against Completely Awesome. However, if the Gorillaz lose, then Thunder and Lightning must lose one of their matches in order for the Gorillaz to get in.

In the other division, The Washington Bullets have already secured a spot in the playoffs. The Exotic Ones have one more match against Shane Marx and Jay Fury, which will only be mecessary if Jay and Shane win their next two matches.

Aisha Sunshine was tended to medically after the show due to the hold placed on her after her match by Pandora. The new hold has been dubbed "The Mortal Coil" by Pandora and it caused Aisha to bleed from the mouth, and it required at least five male PCW wrestlers to pry Pandora off of Aisha Sunshine.

Dr. MeLei was present and tended to the medical needs of the wrestlers.

The Warhorses sent flowers to Timmy McClendon and CAMPUS Strike Force declaring that the Warhorses would have a peace offering of some kind next week.

The Georgia Hall of Fame induction banquet has been cancelled

It is with the deepest respect to the business that I would like to announce that the Georgia Wrestling Hall of Fame banquet has been cancelled. The 2nd Annual Will Grason Memorial: A Night of Champions will still take place on the evening of July 23rd.

After reviewing the initial selection process and contrasting it with the processes used by existing Hall of Fame organizations, It was obvious that we had to revamp and formalize our process. There is no disrespect intended to those selected through the initial process as each of the inductees have had a positive influence on wrestling in the great state of Georgia. Credit needs to be given to Chris Nelms and Richard Osbourne for their initial work to turn the Hall of Fame from a thought to reality.

In the  next several weeks I will be announcing a nomination committee along with the intent to form a non-profit corporation to support our effort. It is the nomination committee's intent to have an official HoF induction ceremony in the fall. The official Georiga Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum is closer now than ever before to becoming a reality. Look for announcements soon.

I would like to personally apologize for any inconvenience this decision may have caused.

Respectfully,
Mark Grason
