match at HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT on JUNE 30

NWA ANARCHY TV CHAMPION, BO NEWSOME was introduced by JERRY PALMER. Newsome claimed to have a pre-concussive syndrome and could not wrestle so introduced JACOBY BOYKINS to replace him in the title match. JACOBY BOYKENS def SETH DELAY but only after Delay knocked Newsome out again with the nucks when he tried to interfere.

JACOB ASHWORTH (replacing Zach Daniels) and JOEY RHYMER def TOMMY DANIELS & CB GIBSON by countout. SKIRRA CORVUS dove on Daniel & Gibson post match from the top of the announce table.

ANTHONY HENRY def BRANDON PARKER to retain the NWA ANARCNHY YOUNG LIONS TITLE. Postmatch ADRIAN HAWKINS attacked Henry and placed him in the sharpshooter

ANDREW PENDELTON def BILLY BUCK to earn a spot in the GOLD RUSH match at HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT on JUNE 30. BOBBY MOORE had distracted Buck. Postmatch Buck chased Moore to the back and a brawl between the two air on the video screen that ended when Moore pulled Steven Walters into Bucks super kick.

In the SHAUN TEMPERS vs SLIM J, NWA ANARCHY HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH, it appeared SLIM J had beaten Tempers and was new champion, until referee BRENT WILEY reversed the decision. Wiley had been knock down during the match and referee DEE BYERS had made the pinfall count. Wiley recovered in time to see BRODY CHASE intercept and use JERRY PALMER's "Big Nasty" Ax handle on Tempers which Palmer had fed into the ring. This followed earlier interference by The NWA ELITE who were chased off by the returning HATE JUNKIES that Wiley never saw. Wiley's decision was not well received by the fans nor Brody Chase and Slim J

A major announcement was made to start the evening as this would in fact be the final card held at Soddy Daisy Middle School as we'll be moving just down the road to a new facility at Sale Creek Middle/High School (211 Patterson Rd, Sale Creek, TN) where the one night 8 man, Southeastern Tag Team Championship Tournament will be held on 6/22/12. Already confirmed as entries are The Juggernauts & Team Temptation as we began the card.

NWA North American Champion, & NWA Anarchy Champion "The Temptation" Shaun Tempers opened the festivities dressed to the nines with some important announcements. One was that his partner Dru Delight was out of action permanently due to a career ending knee injury requiring surgery suffered in a match with Tank in Rossville, GA last weekend. Tempers paid homage to his partner's career but stated Team Temptation would still be appearing in the tag team title tournament. He stated he'd gone through all the competition in Chattanooga and was taking a well deserved night off.

This brought out "Hellbilly" Jessco Blue who stated he'd known Tempers much of his career and stated he'd beaten him many times in their early days. Tempers stated alot had changed since then. He called Blue a disgrace and stated he sees one thing that hasn't and that was that Blue still couldn't afford wrestling gear. Blue called Tempers a fraud and recalled Tempers growing up down the street on Green Pond Rd. At this point the champions' ire had been raised. He then insulted Tempers' title belts stating he knew gold plating when he saw it. and that Rick Davis wouldn't give him $10 for those things. That was enough for Temper He attacked Blue, who reversed into a school boy while announcer Scott Hensley counted an unofficial 3. Tempers was incensed. He stated a bum like Blue could never beat him in a real match and challenged him to a title match in the main event.

1) Chip Day & Corey Hollis defeated Jason Hampton & Jason Collins in a tag tournament qualifying match in brutal fashion. The "Jimmy Rave Approved" team were coming off a major loss in their feud with Ace Rockwell & Logan Alvey and were in no mood for showboating. They dominated the opponents in short order.

2) "Strong Style Psycho" Tank defeated "Hit For Hire" Bobby Moore in a battle of two bulls. Moore went toe to toe with Tank in the brawling department and came very close to defeating the former Southeastern Champion but nobody escapes the chokebreaker and once Tank scored that fatal blow, there was no turning back.

3) Ace Rockwell/Logan Alvey defeated Gil Quest/CB Gibson in another tag tournament qualifying match. This was an excellent back and forth bout as the two NJ natives had a great showing in their first Chattanooga appearance but they couldn't overcome the team of Rockwell and Alvey who continue their winning streak going into the tag tournament.

4) #1 Contender & "Future Legend" Kyle Matthews defeated "The Marathon Man" Chrisjen Hayme in one of the finest technical bouts we've seen yet in NWA Chattanooga. Both men brought it all in a 20 plus minute clinic. Matthews clung tightly to his #1 ranked spot in the end by barely edging out Hayme in a very exciting bout.

5) "Violent Passion" Patrick Bentley defeated Bryan Casanova in the Posedown Challenge. The fans were clearly on Bentley's side but he put Casanova's impressive physique to shame with his clear dedication to his other passion of bodybuilding. Casanova feigned respect for Bentley and cheap shotted him. and administered a disgusting attack with the ring bell across the throat. Security removed Casanova and officials tended to Bentley who had to be helped to the back. We're told he'll be out of action for some time. We hope have more details soon. Casanova will have to face a fine or suspension for this.

6) "The Deadly Sin" Se7en defeated Drew Haskins in a no countout match to become the new NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion ina wild fight that spilled all over the building. Haskins brought the fight to the much larger Se7en that saw aluminum cans, broken broom sticks, garbage cans and flying punches off the stairs. When Haskins finally got chokeslammed his luck had ran out.

NWA Southeastern Champion Andrew Alexander w/ The Rev celebrated The Devil's Rejects now dominating and announced that they'd be entering the tag tournament. Scott Hensley advised that was impossible as the board had ruled earlier that his 90 days were up and on 6/22 he'd have to face Kyle Matthews for the title.

7) Jessco Blue defeated Shaun Tempers via DQ when Chrisjen Hayme interefered after Blue had Tempers compromised. It was a 2 on 1 beatdown until Tank made the save. Jessco asked Tank post match to join him for the tag team tournament combining a tag team specialist with a championship specialist.

Tag Tournament announced for 6/22 at Sale Creek Middle/High. 8 Teams Total, brackets to be announced soon.

NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling, 05/06/12, from Warner Robins, GA

NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling, 05/06/12, from Warner Robins, GA

- from  Daniel Lee Lumm

Warner Robins, GA. Rampage Pro Wrestling is giving back to the fans with this special(free entry) Fan’s Appreciation show at Johnny G’s. The fans took advantage of this, with a turnout of over 100 people for the first time in a few months.

Tommy Daniels defeats Leon McMichaels via pinfall
Referee: Stan Robinson
Leon gets a bigger pop than Daniels. The crowd gets into this match fast as the two wrestle for early control of the match. The crowd seems to be conflicting with who they want to chant for, with Leon generally getting the better reaction. Daniels gets the best of the match, with roughly half the crowd clapping for him and others booing. Leon is on a losing streak since first appearing in RPW.

Ben Masters gets in the ring to promote Memorial Mayhem on May 27th. His first announcement is that ROH Champion Davey Richards will be there facing off with K.C. McKnight. He also says that, provided Adler retains the title later tonight, he will defend the T.V. Title against ROH star Tony Kozina. From here he gets the crowd riled up to start the TV Taping. He brings out AJ Steele to discuss his situation with Murder 1. Steele goes on to say he wants to get rid of and destroy Murder 1, as opposed to simply defeating him. It is then announced that Doc Gayton will be the special guest referee for their match at Memorial Mayhem.

Jimmy Rave defeats Anthony Henry via pinfall
Referee: Dustin Robinson
Henry comes out to a huge pop. Rave goes to step out of the ring to put space between him and Henry and gets an early “chicken” chant. They go to chaining holds soon after, with Henry coming out on top with a drop kick and Rave promptly decides to exit the ring for another “chicken” chant. Upon coming back in, some impressive footwork gets Henry the advantage and ultimately results in Rave, again, ending up outside of the ring. After some more moving around, Henry gets Rave in a waist lock and the crowd starts a brief “boring” chant. Henry decides to pick up the pace and lands some good blows on Rave, but a roll-up out of nowhere with a handful of tights gives Rave the win. Half the crowd cheers while the other half chants “cheater”. Henry and Rave go to blows and the Approved storm the ring to take Henry down, but the Bullets, Adler, and Kyle Matthews make the save. Kyle gets a mic and proposes a 10-man elimination tag match with Rampage (luchadore) Rules on the spot. It’s noteworthy that Jeremy Vain joins Bill Behrens on commentary at this time, and Rave decides to accept the challenge.

Hollis, Day, Posey, Bentley, Rave defeats Jon, Trey, Adler, Matthews, Henry via pinfall
Referee: Dustin Robinson
Some quick tagging starts the match leading to an early advantage for team Matthews. Loud “strawberry shortcake” chants come in as soon as Chip Day tags in. Surprisingly, the Rampage Rules aren’t utilized in the early match, with every tag being semi-traditional. The crowd stays alive in this match, with virtually no idle time between chants and shouts. The Approved take advantage and start using some of their shenanigans to isolate Henry in the ring. Team Matthews starts a stomp-clap rhythm on the apron resembling “We Will Rock You” and the crowd gets real into it, and Henry managed to get out of the ring, being the first to utilize the Rampage Rules. The Bullets manage to eliminate Posey with the wheelburrow/Legdrop combo. Trey is eliminated almost instantly after. Everyone starts pouring into the ring and it’s total anarchy. Michael Stevens and Anthony Andrews come to the ring, Marv playing distraction, and unintentionally hit Bentley with the jar while aiming for Adler, and Bentley is promptly pinned by Adler. A series of suicide dives come in and Hot Like Lava runs out to try and take out Jon Williams. Trey and Jon fight Lava to the back (Jon is not counted out as Kyle Matthews comes into the ring). Things calm down a bit and it starts to look like a tag match again. The remaining Approved members isolate Kyle in the ring for some more heat. Adler gets the hot tag and starts cleaning house and, with some unintentional assistance from Corey Hollis, manages to have Chip Day eliminated by getting Henry in and locking in the cloverleaf. Adler gets eliminated by Rave after he and Hollis manage to double team. The remaining competitors are Rave and Hollis vs Henry, Matthews, and Jon Davis (who is backstage fighting Hot Like Lava). From here Kyle is isolated by Rave and Hollis until Kyle delives a kick to Rave that results in him hot tagging Henry in against Hollis. Hollis comes out on top of this one with a devastating backflip-backbreaker, leaving Matthews alone in this match (since it doesn’t look like Jon’s coming back). With Matthews at their mercy, Rave starts barking orders at Hollis. When Hollis hesitates and is slapped by Rave, Kyle capitalizes by getting Rave pushed outside and pinning Hollis. After exchanging some blows, Kyle gets in the Hidaka Lock. Vain comes down from commentary to support Rave as he gets out of the hold and capitalizes. Right as Kyle has the match won, Jeremy Vain pulls referee Dustin Robinson out of the ring to prevent the pinfall from being counted. Rave grabs the Heavyweight Title and knocks Kyle out during the distraction and picks up the win. They pulled some out of sight, out of mind on this one by never having Jon Davis come back out or even have the ref make a 10-count for him. The crowd was very vocal post-match, some cheering while others chanted “cheater”. The match was unbelievable and could have main-evented a big event.

Hot Like Lava (Cru Jones & Shaun Banks) defeats BFF (“Marvelous” Michael Stevens & “Adorable” Anthony Andrews) via pinfall
Referee: Stan Robinson
We start hour 2 with a heel vs heel tag match. In these cases, Hot Like Lava typically gets the face reaction from the crowd and they don’t hesitate to start playing to them. BFF is probably one of the most comical tag teams in RPW’s history, and they do a great job at getting the crowd laughing. Marv and Andrews get in some cheap shots in to gain and hold the advantage, isolating Banks in the ring with Cru on the apron yelling insults at both the BFF and the ref. When all hell breaks loose in the ring, the ref gets taken out unintentionally. BFF brings in chairs and they manage to have them in Lava’s hands when the ref wakes up. As soon as the ref catches them, Cru suggests bringing in the ringside nurse to give CPR to see is they were actually unconscious. Upon seeing the elderly woman, they freaked out and dashed from the ring, at which time referee Stan Robinson decided to continue the match. Marv pleaded to have Lava DQ’d for bringing in “outside help”. Stan is, again, taken out during this match and Lava repeats what BFF did, this time having them caught with the chairs. “Yes” chants abruptly came from the crowd. Marv proposes that he and Andrews give CPR to Lava, and when they go to do mouth-to-mouth, Cru and Shaun spring up and pins both of them for the win. After the match, the Bullets rush into the ring and attack lava with the crowd’s approval. It is then announced that the Washington Bullets will take on Hot Like Lava at Memorial Mayhem.

Ben Masters goes on to make more announcements after the Bullets celebrate. He discusses an interview he conducted between Kyle Matthews and Jimmy Rave that officially names Rave vs Matthews for the Heavyweight Title at Memorial Mayhem. He also says that there will be a 4-Way match between Chip Day, Patrick Bentley, Mike Posey, and Corey Hollis, with the loser no longer being Jimmy Rave Approved.

Cash Vault (Rob Adonis & The Judge)(w/ Manager Charlie Cash) defeats Frankie Valentine & Billy Knight via pinfall
Referee: Stan Robinson
The crowd is noticeably quieter during this match, but in all fairness it is following both an amazing 10-man and a highly comical tag match. Frankie and Billy pull some interesting tag team shenanigans early on, but Adonis and Judge, with their size and strength to boast, take advantage quickly. Valentine is isolated away from Knight as the two powerhouses go to work. Knight gets the hot tag and fights off Adonis and Judge, then he and Valentine start working together with all 4 in the ring at once. Once order is restored, Cash Vault again gets the advantage and isolated Knight. Charlie Cash got more of a reaction from the crowd than anyone thus far, despite never actually getting involved. Frankie finally makes a desperate plea for the crowd to get more excited to motivate his partner to hit feet, and still gets a mediocre clap from maybe a quarter of the crowd. Knight and Valentine gain advantage briefly, but a spinbuster from Adonis put Knight down for the count. The post-match celebration from Cash Vault involved attack Knight but is interrupted by Valentine, who gets a kick on Cash. It is then announced that J-Rod and Frankie Valentine will team up against Cash Vault, with Billy Knight acting as an equalizer for Charlie Cash.

NWA RPW Television Title Match
Drew Adler (C) defeats “Untouchable” Jeremy Vain via pinfall
Referee: Dustin Robinson
The match starts slow with the two focusing more on holds. Vain did as much as he could to keep Adler at a stand-still. A nice change of pace came when the two started a bit of a skirmish to get the upper hand ending with Vain delivering a well-placed super kick, but they slow back down with holds and such afterwards. The crowd starts heating up when Adler gets to fighting back. When Vain goes for the DDT, Adler saves himself be holding the rope, then gets a surprise pin over Vain to retain the title. A “you got beat” chant start as Vain looked at Adler in astonishment. It is then announced that since Vain didn’t beat Adler, he won’t be at Memorial Mayhem.

Free Admission this Sunday at NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling in Warner Robins, GA

- from NWA RPW

FREE ADMISSION!!

NWA Rampage Professional Wrestling returns to Johnny G's in Warner Robins, GA on Sunday, May 6, 2012 with a start time of 3PM for another action filled television taping. For this special pre-MOTHERS DAY celebration all fans get in for FREE. Upcoming RPW shows return to the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month. May 27 will be the annual MEMORIAL MAYHEM show with AJ STEELE vs MURDER 1 already announced, and returning to NWA RPW that afternoon will be ROH's Davey Richards, Kyle O'Reily & Tony Kozina.

Kyle Matthews, the NWA RPW Heavyweight Champion, return to Johnny Gs on May 6. Matthews made it clear he wants a singles match with Jimmy Rave. It was Matthews who convinced Dr. Gayton to reinstate Rave. Interesting is the fact that Jimmy Rave sent word that he will make a special challenge for a match on May 6. Jimmy Rave also said he will make an announcement that will set a match for Memorial Mayhem on May 27 involving all four members of Jimmy Rave Approved, Mike Posey, Patrick Bentley, Corey Hollis & Chip Day.

The Cash Vault with Charlie Cash will be in a non title contest against Frankie Valentine and his uncle Billy Knight who the Vault tried to burn as they had J Rod several weeks back. J Rod who is still recovering from the burns he received was able to stop Dany Only before damage was done to Knight.

Hot Like Lava (Cru Jones and Shawn Banks) ended the win streak of The Washington Bullets on April 29. This Sunday they face the BFF team of "Marvelous" Michael Steven and "Adorable" Anthony Andrews. The Washington Bullets will be watching this match with interest.

Drew Adler defends his NWA RPW TV Title against a former champion when he faces Jeremy Vain. This could be his toughest challenge to date since defeating Chip Day for the title.

Plus Murder 1 will be in action, which likely means that AJ Steele will be at Johnny Gs on May 6 too. Dr. Gayton ordered a match between the two for Memorial Mayhem but noted that neither could touch the other until then as if that happened both would be fired from RPW.
