RPW Tag Team Championship 

J-Rod & Dr. Johnny Gayton vs. The Usual Suspects ©

J-Rod has found himself on a collision course as of late with the RPW Tag Team Champions, The Usual Suspects. Ever since being violently turned on by Cru Jones way back on February 19 in an attempt to regain the titles, J-Rod's attempt to find a new partner has been quite a roller coaster ride. With Colt Derringer's sudden decision to retire from professional wrestling, Mr. Jones needed a partner to face the Suspects for the gold on April 2. While his issue with Cru Jones is not resolved by any means, J-Rod saw this as a chance to get the biggest title he's ever held in RPW back and took the opportunity. The match ended in a double countout, as Jones and A.J. Steele let their brawl spill to the outside, ignoring referee Jeff McGowan's 10-count. Later in the night during the Countdown to Doom match after Team Rampage emerged victorious, a still-enraged Dr. Johnny Gayton grabbed a microphone and said they all wanted more of the Apocalypse. RPW Commissioner Nick Patrick came out and granted Gayton his wish: on Friday night, April 16, the Usual Suspects will defend the RPW Tag Team Titles against J-Rod & Dr. Johnny Gayton!

One issue that has also yet to be resolved in RPW is the never-ending situation between RPW Heavyweight Champion Bull Buchanan and RPW Intercontinental Champion Cru Jones. The only match these two have had with a definitive, clean ending has been on February 5 for the Intercontinental Title, which was vacated by Jimmy Rave due to his broken nose. On the contrary, every match these two superstars have had for the Heavyweight championship has not ended definitively. In the last battle between these two on March 19, Cru Jones was awarded a disqualification victory when his nemesis, J-Rod, entered the fray and attacked Jones. After the match, Buchanan attacked J-Rod backstage, sending a message to the RPW locker room to stay out of his matches. Due to his disqualification victory, Cru is entitled to another championship opportunity. RPW Commissioner Nick Patrick has it signed, sealed, and set for Friday night, April 16, Buchanan will defend the RPW Heavyweight Championship against Cru Jones!

In addition to these two hot matches, Austin Creed and many, many more will also be in action!

HE SAID HE HAS BEEN IN MEETINGS WITH THE DCW BOARD OF DIRECTORS ALL WEEK, BUT BECAUSE HE BREACHED HIS CONTRACT WHEN HE ATTACKED HIS SON, WES, THAT DCW HAS FIRED HIM AS THE COMMISHONER. THEY DID TELL HIM WHO HIS REPLACEMENT WAS, IT WAS NONE OTHER THAN WES BLAZE! WES SAID THINGS WOULD GET BETTER AND THAT HE WOULD FACE JOHNNY BLAZE ON JULY 31ST AT RED, WHITE, AND BRUISED. HOWEVER, JOHNNY WOULD HAVE A MATCH EVERY WEEK UNTIL THEN, AND IF JOHNNY LOST ONE TIME, NOT ONLY WOULD HE NOT GET THE MATCH WITH WES, BUT HE WOULD BE FIRED. BEFORE WES LEFT THE RING, HE SAID THAT TONGIGHT, EVERY MATCH WOULD HAVE A SPECIAL REF.

THE OPENING MATCH OF THE EVENING SAW THE DAKOTA OUTLAWS MAKE THEIR DCW DEBUTS AGAINST BIG RED AND AARON G. BRANDON COLLINS WAS THE SPECIAL REF. THE OUTLAWS OVER POWERED RED AND AARON AT THE START OF THE MATCH. EVERY TIME RED WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE, BRANDON WOULD COST HIM. BRANDON WAS CLEARLY ONE SIDED IN THIS MATCH. HOWEVER, AARON WAS ABLE TO PICK UP THE WIN DESPITE BRANDON'S BEST EFFORTS.

NEXT UP WAS THE RETURN OF BIG RUSS JONES. HE TOOK ON TOJO GASS. TOJO TOOK THE EARLY ADVANTAGE AND WORKED ON THE ARM OF RUSS. HOWEVER, RUSS WAS ABLE TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE MATCH. TOJO BATTLED BACK AND BOTH MEN HIT A CLOTHESLINE AND WERE DOWN AS THE REF STARTED THE 10 COUNT. TOJO WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT TO HIS FEET FIRST AND HIT A FLYING ELBOW. HE WAS ONLY ABLE TO GET A TWO COUNT. THE MATCH ENDED WHEN RUSS HIT HIS CHOKE BOMB.

DCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS BROTHER FUSION (JASON & BRANDON COLLINS) W/ SAMANTHA LOVE PUT THE TAG TITLES ON THE LINE IN THE NEXT MATCH AS THEY TOOK ON THE TEAM OF TOMMY & DAVID GAGE. DCW CHAMPION JOHNNY VIPER WAS THE SPECIAL REF IN THIS MATCH. VIPER WAS ALSO A ONE SIDED REF AND BROTHER FUSION HAD CONTROL OF THE ENTIRE MATCH. TOMMY FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET CONTROL AND GO FOR A PIN BUT VIPER WAS DISTRACTED. TOMMY THEN TAGGED IN DAVID AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. DAVID WENT FOR A PIN AND VIPER POLISHED HIS TITLE. FINALLY TOMMY SET UP FOR THE GAGE FACTOR, BUT JASON REVERSED AND BRO FUSION HIT TMH (THIS MAY HURT) FOR THE WIN. AFTER THE MATCH THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. WHEN THEY CAME BACK UP, TALON WILLIAMS ATTACKED AND BEAT DOWN BROTHER FUSION.

WES "OMG" BLAZE TOOK ON JUSTON HARDT NEXT. AMBER YOUNG WAS RINGSIDE WITH JUSTON. JOHNNY BLAZE WAS THE SPECIAL REF. HARDT USED HIS SPEED TO GET THE ADVANTAGE EARLY IN THE MATCH. HOWEVER, WES COUNTERED WITH A NECKBREAKER. WES SLOWLY PICKED APART JUSTON. OUT OF NOWHERE, HARDT HITS AN INZEGURI. BOTH MEN WERE DOWN AS THE REF STARTED THE 10 COUNT. WES HITS HIS SPINEBUSTER BUT JUSTON KICKED OUT. WES THEN SETS UP TO HIT THE OMG MOMENT BUT HARDT COUNTERS IT AND LOCKS IN THE SHARP SHOOTER. WES TAPS OUT. HOWEVER, WES DEMANDED THE MATCH RESTARTED AND HIT THE OMG MOMENT FOR THE WIN. JOEY IDOL'S MUSIC THEN HITS AND HE SLIDES IN AND HITS WES. WES THEN MAD A MATCH FOR JOEY.

DCW TAG TEAM CHAMPS BROTHER FUSION CAME TOT THE RING WITH SAMANTHA LOVE NEXT. THEY TALKED TRASH TO THE FANS. THEY STATED THE PAST FEW WEEKS THEY HAVE DOMINATED BUT FELT THEY WAS BEING HELD BACK FROM THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL. THEY THEN FIRE SAMANTHA LOVE. THEY ALSO SAID THAT RED AND AARON G. HAS NEVER BEATEN THEM AND NEVER WOULD. BEFORE LEAVING THEY ISSUED AN OPEN CHALLENGE.

"THE ONE" JOEY IDOL W/ AMBER YOUNG CAME TO THE RING NEXT. WES BLAZE SAID THAT HE WAS THE SPECIAL REF AND HAD A SPECIAL OPPONENT FOR JOEY. HE THEN BROUGHT OUT KEITH HART, WHO WAS MAKING HIS DCW DEBUT. JOEY ATTACKED KEITH AND BACKED HIM IN THE CORNER. HE CLIMBED THE ROPES TO THROW SOME PUNCHES BUT HART REVERSED IT INTO A POWERBOMB. WES THEN GOT ON THE MIC AND THREW AMBER OUT OF THE BUILDING. JOEY IS ABLE TO THROW KEITH INTO THE CORNER BUT AS HE CHARGED IN, KEITH GOT HIS BOOT UP. JOEY THEN TOOK CONTROL AND HIT A NECKBREAKER FROM THE TOP ROPE. BOTH MEN WERE DOWN. JOEY THEN SET UP FOR THE PEDI-BREAKER BUT WES HIT JOEY WITH A SUPERKICK AND KEITH HART PICKED UP THE WIN.

DCW CHAMPION "THE WORLD'S GREATEST ATHLETE" JOHNNY VIPER CAME TO THE RING NEXT. WES BLAZE TOLD VIPER THAT HE COULD HAVE ANY MATCH HE WANTED AS LONG AS IT WAS AGAINST TALON WILLIAMS. VIPER PICKED A TAG MATCH AND BROUGHT HIS PARTNER OUT. IT WAS FELLOW CANADIAN THE MASSIVE SAVIN! "THE MESSIAH" TALON WILLIAMS THEN MADE HIS WAY TO THE RING AND SAID HE MADE A CALL TO AN OLD FRIEND. HE BROUGHT OUT HIS TAG PARTNER, "THE LIONHEART" RAY FURY. THE REF FOR THIS MATCH WAS AARON G. RAY AND TALON TOOK THE EARLY ADVANTAGE ON VIPER. BUT VIPER TAGGED IN SAVIN AND THE WHOLE MATCH CHANGED. SAVIN AND VIPER THEN TOOK CONTROL. RAY TOOK OUT VIPER AS BOTH MEN WERE DOWN. SAVIN AND TALON WERE THEN TAGGED IN AND TALON TOOK CONTROL. VIPER THREW RAY OUT OF THE RING AND AS THE REF CHECKED ON RAY, BROTHER FUSION MADE THEIR WAY TO THE RING. THEY HUNG UP TALON ON THE TOP ROPE WHICH ALLOWED VIPER TO HIT THE CANUCK DROP. SAVIN THE HIT A HUGE FROG SPLASH FROM THE SECOND ROPE AND PICKED UP THE WIN.

Jimmy the Kid vs. Kyle Matthews

Great match to start the show Kyle Matthews showed why he calls himself the best in the world. Both men put on a mixture of scientific wrestler and high risk ability, however the risk didn't pay off for Kid, who made one mistake, leading to Kyles slurpee kick and the 1.2.3 for the "Best in the World" - Kyle Matthews wins with the Slurpee kick

80's Guy John Bogie vs. Johnny Swinger

Swinger came out as Jimmy the Lid was recovering for his match and attacked him and his partner Eric Mayne with no reason other then to further his reputation as GCW's resident bully.

Fellow GCW veteran 80's Guy John Bogie emerged from his endless timewarp to stop the damage, and then challenged the GCW Juggernaut to a match right then and there. Bogies good heart and righteous cause wouldn't be enough however, as Swinger control with a foreign object, and then subdued Bogie with the infamous Sleep-Time.

Commissioner Gainey came out and stated that since he did not sanction the GCW interstate Title match street match on last weeks program, that it was now null and voided. Gainey said there needed to be a new era in GCW, of Champions the fans could look up to. Not surprising, Princeton chose fellow Conglomerate member Sal Rinauro to be the new title holder, in a bold move and perfect example of Gaineys corrupt powetrip.

Rinauro thanked the Gcw crowd mockingly, and tried to leave for the evening, when Mike Kross suddenly came out and challenged The New champion to a match. Rinauro denied the challenger a shot at the belt, however his opinion was was over turned by Gainey himself when Kross implied he had some pictures of The Commish and Conglomerate Member Marvelous Michael Stevens enjoying each others company on spring break.

Bull Buchanan Vs Navy Blue

Newcomer Navy Blue had lots of words for The Big Bull who made sure this upstart learned the meaning of respect when he nearly decapitated the near 7 foot monster with the infamous lariat, on his way to winning the very high impact and brutal battle. Afterwards, Buchanan stated that he didn't care WHO made the match, the owner, the Commish, or the D.J. in the soundbooth, he wants the Butcher next week, and threatened that the show would not start, until he had the Butcher in the ring.

Murder One & Marvelous Michael Stevens Vs Nation and GCW Champion Scott Steele

Everything seemed to be in favor of the GCW champion Scott Steele and Big Nation ,as Nation hit the standing shoot star press on Marvelous Michael Stevens, however Stevens had slipped brass knuckles into the trunks of Nation, which the referee saw and automatically assumed Nation had used. He quickly reversed the decision, and gave the match to Murder One and Marvelous.

Mike Kross vs. Sal Rinauro

Rinauro came out with one thing on his mind, hurt Kross bad and end his challenge to the title once and for all. But Kross fed off the emotions of the fans as he fought his way out of the figure four leg lock and other devistating holds the champion used to try and take the legs away from the challenger. In the end it was Mike Kross who caught Sal with a tremendous r spring board reverse DDT, to pick up the upset win.

Mike Kross wins and is the new GCW Interstate Champion.

Maine and Kidd went to the air on Marvelous and Rinauro putting there bodies on the line but in the end thanks to some dirty tactics Stevens and Rinauro are your winners;

The match was thrown out as JT Smooth interfered and held Stalker in the corner with his umbrella while Kyle Delivered the Pain Full Slurpee Kick;

Even with the support of fellow Tag Team Member Miguel Guerrero at ringside Adler was over come by the vicious Punt to the back of the head by “The Butcher”;

King took it hard and fast to Swing time but in the end the crafty GCW juggernaut showed why he is a former Champion in GCW;

GCW Tag Team Title Match: Bull Buchanan and Mike Kross vs. Hot Like Lava©
What almost looked to be an upset in the making the paring of Buchanan and Kross seemed on the edge of making Hot Like Lava Former champions when The Butcher distracted and fought Buchanan all the way to the back leaving Mike Kross alone and double teamed by the GCW champions Hot Like Lava.

Murder One vs. Nation
Nation showed not only does he have the look of power behind him but the wrestling skills to back him up. as he pinned Murder One in what should have been a major upset for the GCW rookie.

But The Commissioner had other plans Saying that Nation held on to the tights of Murder One ordered the match restarted and Murder One caught Nation with the Ether for the one, two, three.

As Murder looked to put this young superstar out of GCW once and for all out of no where the GCW Champion Scott Steele rushed in and made the save forcing Murder to tuck tail and run.

This Match was not only taken to the streets but it was taken to the Concessions and to the roof of the GCW building. Bulbs, chairs, doors and podiums were heavily damaged in this all out war between former best friends.
Frankie felt the sting of his own blood gushing from his head as Jrod Seemed more then determine to end this well heated rivalry.

Which is what he did as he took out Frankie and became the new GCW Interstate Champion.

The April 3, 2010 edition of Rampage Pro Wrestling opened up with Ben Masters & Big Bank Barfield showing us some interesting footage. Mr. Jones, who was recently ousted from the Apocalypse, was seen participating at a wheelchair basketball event. This event was strongly supported by Rampage Pro Wrestling and its owner, Dr. Johnny Gayton. The Apocalypse was well aware of Jones' intention to attend this event. This, along with the fact that Jones went behind the back of Rob Adonis to get an eye procedure performed by Dr. Gayton, made the Apocalypse extremely skeptical of his loyalty. But the straw that broke the camel's back was an incident that took place on last week's show. We go back to footage of last week where the Usual Suspects were defending the RPW Tag Team Championship against the Rampage Wrecking Crew. Mr. Jones entered the ring behind the referee's back, but accidentally speared A.J. Steele instead of his intended target. Despite retaining the titles after the Exotic Ones interfered, the Suspects brutally turned on Jones, effectively kicking him out of the Apocalypse.

Masters & Barfield also recap the video of A.J. Steele stopping the Apocalypse from entering the ring when Rob Adonis called for them during his RPW Heavyweight Title match against Bull Buchanan last week. We are also reminded of Adonis' angry reaction after his loss, undoubtedly angry with Steele's actions. Is there about to be serious trouble within the Apocalypse?

Bobby Moore vs. Caleb Konley

The in-ring action on this week's show kicked off with RPW's hot up-and-comer Caleb Konley and RPW newcomer, Bobby Moore. Moore is an established wrestler in the southeast, but RPW is a completely different animal, and his first test is a challenging one in the form of Konley. Despite being new to RPW, Moore came out extremely aggressive against Konley, catching him very off guard. Moore clearly entered this match using an all-or-nothing strategy right from the get-go. Konley eventually got back on track and fought back to hit his finishing move, the home wrecker, for another impressive victory.

WINNER: Caleb Konley

RPW cameras find Rob Adonis & A.J. Steele backstage having a very heated discussion. Rob asks what A.J. was thinking when he stopped the cavalry. A.J. reminds Rob that he said he was going to take care of Bull Buchanan all by himself because of how insulted he was. A.J. facetiously says he was just making the rest of the Apocalypse well aware of his wishes in case he just happened to forget to tell the rest of the group he wanted to do it alone. Rob backtracks and says he just wanted the Apocalypse to come out and watch how he was going to finish off Buchanan. After A.J. makes a sarcastic quip, Rob gets angry and says from now on, when he issues an order it will be carried out. A.J. angrily reminds him that he doesn't take orders, he takes requests. A.J. walks off while Rob is still seething.

The Exotic Ones vs. The Rampage Wrecking Crew

Another chapter in this heated rivalry is being written with this latest encounter. On last week's show, the Exotic Ones cost the Rampage Wrecking Crew the RPW Tag Team Championship, interfering in their match against the Usual Suspects. After the contest, both teams brawled. This week, Charlie Cash is still accompanying the Exotic Ones, this time wearing lipstick. Both teams continued right from where they left off with an intense battle. Despite the absence of Pocket Change, outside interference still swayed the outcome of this one. When Kyle Matthews had Tommy Too Much rolled up for a definite victory, referee Jeff McGowan was trying to break up Simon Sermon and Frankie Valentine outside the ring. With McGowan's back turned, Cash entered the ring and threw some sort of powder in Kyle's eyes. When McGowan turned around, Tommy had reversed the roll-up to get yet another dirty victory.

WINNERS: The Exotic Ones

The story didn't end there, as the Exotic Ones continued the attack after the match. However, their plan didn't work as they thought, as the returning Dr. Johnny Gayton emerged, fresh off a two-week suspension from RPW Commissioner Nick Patrick. Gayton had his steel chair with him to run off the Exotic Ones and Cash. Gayton then attended to Matthews' eyes.

Jeremy Vain vs. Colt Derringer

Jeremy Vain entered this contest with the leader of the Apocalypse, Rob Adonis, at his side. When Colt entered the ringside area and saw who was in Vain's corner, he had a little back-up of his own in the form of Mr. Jones. Vain was able to keep control of Derringer, thanks to dirty tactics from Adonis. At a key point, Vain randomly hit a baseball slide on Mr. Jones at ringside. When Adonis jumped up onto the apron, Derringer slingshot him into the ring. As referee Dustin Robinson attempted to pull Derringer off Adonis and get Adonis out of the ring, Vain proceeded to sneak up behind Derringer. However, Mr. Jones recovered, entered the ring, and hit a devastating spear on Vain. As the referee got Adonis out of the ring, Colt went to the second rope for his patented leg drop. However, a previous knee injury Adonis inflicted on Derringer looked to reappear, as Derringer lost his balance from the rope. He recovered quick enough to hit a lethal falling headbutt to get the victory, but favored his knee afterward.

WINNER: Colt Derringer

RPW Heavyweight Championship: Cru Jones vs. Bull Buchanan ©

Despite selling out and joining the Apocalypse, his victory over Bull Buchanan for the vacant RPW Intercontinental Championship back on February 5 earned Jones another shot against Buchanan for the RPW Heavyweight Championship. This decision was made in the interest of fairness by RPW Commissioner Nick Patrick. Both men know each other so well at this point that it's nearly impossible for either man to get an upper hand for an extended period of time. After watching Cru hit a low blow on Bull out of referee Jeff McGowan's view, J-Rod had enough and went to the ring to attack Cru. He had to be restrained by all RPW referees.

WINNER by Disqualification: Cru Jones

Backstage after the match, J-Rod continued to have words for Cru. All of a sudden, a huge big boot comes out of nowhere and strikes J-Rod in the face. The boot belonged to Buchanan. The show closes with Buchanan reminding J-Rod and everyone else in the RPW locker room to never interfere in his matches.
