The show started with a ten bell salute for "The Nightmare" Ted Allen as
workers surrounded the ring to pay their respect. Commissioner Don with
Owner and CEO Mike Money announced that the company which has been on
Saturday nights for the last decade would be moving to FRIDAY NIGHTs
starting SEPTEMBER 10th! Commissioner Don said that he had taken a
higher position within the company and that effective 12am 22 August he
would no longer be the Commissioner of AWN! He then announced that he
had a replacement that would take care of AWN and that the new
Commissioner disliked "Generation Now" as much as he did!

-"Dangerous" Danny Horne vs J-Stakka

After both men made their way to the back "The Insane" Mike Pain came
out carrying the GPWA CHAMPIONSHIP. He was furious as last night in
Ashburn at the GPWA event, "The Main Attraction" Michael Hirsch attacked
him in his Championship match against RPW Star J-ROD. He said that he
didn't care what it took, that he wanted "TMA" tonight!!! "TMA" Michael
Hirsch came out with a paper in his hand that we found out was a
restraining order against "The Insane" Mike Pain! "TMA" said that Pain
got what he deserved. "TMA" went on saying that Pain was aiming for his
Championship he was just returning the favor! Pain then struck "TMA"
dropping him off the apron and then began to attack AWN security. "TMA"
was levied and demanded Mike Money have Pain thrown out or he would sue
the AWN for violating the restraining order! He said that next time PAIN
touched him he would be in cuffs! After Owner and CEO Mike Money
reviewed the restraining orders stipulations he no choice but to have
him removed from the premises.

Chick Donovan had got his good friend Paul Warfield to be the hand
picked opponent for the match!!!

Leon McMichael (C) vs Damenchia vs JL Lightning
Winner and New AWN SOUTHERN HERITAGE CHAMPION: Damenchia (1st Women to
hold AWN GOLD)

After the match Commissioner Don Anderson told her that being the first
women to hold AWN gold would come with a lot of challenges, but none
bigger than what she was about to face, Her boyfriend Stewart Sims
rolled into the ring without her knowing and when Commissioner Don told
her to turn around he was on one knee ;) ... Well, you know what
happened next......Crowd loved it, so did Damenchia (a.k.a. Lelia
Parker) Congrats! PS - No wedding date has been set as of yet.

Before the next match, Commissioner Don granted the Irish Carbomb a shot
at the Tag Titles...He also granted Sin City Mafia a shot as well!

"The Main Attraction" Michael Hirsch (C) vs Vordell Walker

This was a brutal match from the beginning as "TMA" had jumped Vordell
during his entrance. The beginning had Vordell being thrown through
chairs and suplexed three times on to chairs by the ruthless champion!
Very good match with the referee getting knocked down at the end. "TMA"
had Vordell in his finisher, but Vordell slipped out and hit his
Fisherman Brainbuster! Another ref came from the back and counted the
1..2...3! We have a NEW AWN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, or so everyone
thought as the other ref regained his composure he told the ref he had
no authority out there and asked for the match to be restarted! "TMA"
rolled up Vordell (grabbing tights and all) for the three count.
