The latest of episode of Rampage Pro Wrestling TV
- from RPW
The December 25, 2010 edition of Rampage Pro Wrestling began where we left off last week with Sal Rinauro in his old office. Before he let Michael Stevens & Drew Adler get too excited, he informed them that he only came back to get his Braves tomahawk out of his desk and quickly left again. Stevens & Adler begged Sal to come back to no avail.
Your hosts are Bill Behrens & Ben Masters.
The Usual Suspects & Dr. Johnny Gayton defeated Killer Instinct & Pain
The in-ring action for RPW's final episode of 2010 began with a huge six-man tag team match. On last week's program, Dr. Johnny Gayton vowed in 2011 to not let the new version of the Cash Vault do what the original version did to him back in 2009. Also last week, Dr. Gayton put an end to a beatdown by Cash and his new charge, Bobby Moore, on Mr. Jones by running them off with a steel chair. After nearly 20 minutes of chaos that referee Brent Wiley was lucky to keep control of, A.J. Steele hit his lethal wind-up side slam on Jake Slater. Mike Stratus stopped the count and threw Steele out of the ring. However, Dr. Gayton was able to tag Steele before he was thrown out. He jumped in the ring and pinned Slater to get the win! Before anyone can celebrate, Bobby Moore charged the ring and attacked Dr. Gayton as a payback of sorts for last week. After Moore knocked him down, Pain applied the Asiatic spike. The Suspects made it back in, but not before the damage was done as blood began to spew from the mouth of Dr. Gayton.
Mr. Jones defeated Bobby Moore by disqualification
As mentioned mentioned earlier, Bobby Moore attacked Mr. Jones following his victory on last week's show. The attack prompted a match to be signed for this week between the two men. Gloating from their beatdown of Dr. Gayton earlier, Charlie Cash and J.T. Smooth are with Moore. During the course of the match, Smooth bolted back to the locker room. As Jones had Moore set up to finish off with the big splash, Smooth returned to ringside with Killer Instinct and Pain in tow. All of Cash's cronies began to attack Jones, but before any damage could be done, the Usual Suspects returned with a steel chair to run everyone off.
Backstage, Hot Like Lava had a discussion about last week's handicap match and whether or not Shaun Banks had everything in control. Both men aren't too confident that J-Rod will be able to find a partner this time either.
An exclusive brought to you by Rampage Rewind showed Frankie Valentine getting brutally attacked by Jimmy Rave Approved following his successful return to RPW. Valentine's status for next week's huge 10-man tag team elimination match is now in question.
J-Rod & Bull Buchanan defeated Hot Like Lava
This week's main event is a rematch of sorts from last week. J-Rod was unable to find a mystery partner on such short notice, forcing him to go it alone. This week he has delivered in a huge way by producing former RPW Heavyweight Champion, Bull Buchanan! It was way back on the July 3 edition of Rampage Pro Wrestling that Shaun Banks made his shocking return to RPW and won the title from Buchanan in a very controversial manner. Buchanan's physical frustration with Commissioner Sal Rinauro over the incident caused Rinauro to suspend Buchanan indefinitely without ever being granted a rematch. With Rinauro having stepped down as Commissioner, did Buchanan's suspension get lifted? Regardless of how it happened, J-Rod ended 2010 with a bang by bringing the former WWF Tag Team Champion back to RPW. In the final moments o an epic 20-minute back and forth main event, Buchanan was able to cream Banks with a monstrous lariat to pin the man who stole the belt from him almost six months earlier! Buchanan quickly re-asserts himself as a loner by doing the same to J-Rod when J-Rod raised his hand. He grabbed the belt from referee Brent Wiley and held it high, pointing to Banks outside the ring. Throwing the belt at a frightened Banks, Buchanan quickly left the carnage having reminded everyone that he is back for one reason and one reason only: to reclaim the RPW Heavyweight Championship!
