Rampage Pro Wrestling 's 11/20/10 TV Episode

Click here to watch the most recent RPW TV episode

- from RPW

The November 20, 2010 edition of Rampage Pro Wrestling opens in Commissioner Sal Rinauro's office. Cru Jones is in the office, despite being forced to leave RPW three weeks ago after suffering a loss at the hands of Sugar Dunkerton. Cru argues that his name was not on the contract, but Sal counters by saying it doesn't matter whose name is on it. J-Rod storms in the office and claims it was Cru under the mask that cost him the Heavyweight title against Shaun Banks back at RPW Doctoberfest 2010. Rinauro says if Cru wants back so bad, he's back and has to face J-Rod this week. Cru leaves as Michael Stevens and Drew Adler hold J-Rod back.

Your hosts are Bill Behrens and Ben Masters.

Bobby Moore vs. Mike Posey

The action in the ring kicks off with Bobby Moore taking on Mike Posey. Before things can get officially underway, Moore immediately jumps on Posey. Moore is all over Posey with strikes and kicks for near-falls. He starts applying submission holds to attack the neck and back of Posey. Moore is completely dominating Posey to begin the match, but he just can't put him away. He applies a painful backbreaker submission. Posey breaks the hold and finally begins to build an attack. But Moore cuts him off again with a sidewalk slam for a 2-count. Moore goes back to submissions, this time locking on a camel clutch. But he still can't keep him down for good. Posey lights up again and sets up Moore for his Tree of Woe dropkick. Moore rolls out to recovery, but Posey hits a baseball slide. Moore climbs on the apron and Posey suplexes him back in. He goes to the top and hits the Alabama Jam for the win.

WINNER: Mike Posey

After the match as Posey is celebrating his victory, Jimmy Rave, Chip Day, and Corey Hollis enter the ring. Rave once again offers Posey the chance to become “Jimmy Rave Approved”. Once again, Posey declines. As the three men approach Posey to attack him, Kyle Matthews storms ringside and runs everyone off.

Killer Instinct vs. The Rymer Boys

Charlie Cash and J.T. Smooth are at ringside with Mike Stratus & Jake Slater. Stratus and Kevan start things off. Stratus gets the best of Kevan to start, so Evan tags in. Both Rymers double-team Stratus and knock him out of the ring. Slater comes in, but he gets the same treatment. Stratus tags out to Slater once Cash has his men recovered. Later on, Cash grabs Kevan's foot. Evan leaves his spot on the apron to approach Cash. Stratus circles all the way around the ring to attack Evan, but he moves. Stratus avoids a collision with Cash, but Kevan hits a dive on Stratus. Slater is able to recover, though, and gains the upper hand on Kevan. Killer Instinct begins the double team domination. Kevan is finally able to tag out to a fresh Evan. Evan fends off both Stratus and Slater. The Rymers hit a double-team move with Kevan flying off the top rope and Evan hitting a standing moonsault, both on Slater. Evan goes for the cover, but Cash puts Slater's foot on the bottom rope out of the referee's view. Amidst the confusion, Stratus and Slater take back over. Slater slams Kevan face first into the ringpost outside. They hit a lethal double team move on Evan to get the win.

WINNERS: Killer Instinct

Cru Jones vs. J-Rod

Up next is the rekindling of one of RPW's most brutal feuds, Cru Jones vs. J-Rod. The All-Star is gone and the Hot Like Lava version has returned. The irony about this is that even though Sugar Dunkerton won the Loser Leaves Town match 3 weeks ago, Cru is back in the ring first while Dunkerton is still out recovering from injuries suffered by Cru. Still enraged over losing his shot at the title, J-Rod immediately takes the fight to Cru. Everything is in J-Rod's way until he attempts a charge in the corner and meets an elbow from Cru. Cru turns the tables as puts the hurt on J-Rod as we go to a commercial break. We're back from break and Cru has J-Rod in a sitting abdominal stretch. The fights spills outside and Cru painfully drops J-Rod spine first on the apron. Cru gets a series of near falls, unable to put him away. Becoming increasingly frustrated, Cru begins ramping up the illegal tactics, eventually choking J-Rod in the corner. J-Rod fights off with kicks and begins countering all of Cru's attacks. J-Rod goes to finish off Cru with the flying knee, but Cru dodges it. He grabs J-Rod and attempts the Cru Cut. J-Rod slips out and charges Cru. Cru ducks and he charges J-Rod. He ducks and Cru collides with referee Brent Wiley. Wiley is down and the fight spills back to the outside. J-Rod rolls Cru on and covers him, but no referee to count. Heavyweight Champion Shaun Banks runs out and climbs up top. He drops for the elbow drop, but J-Rod moves, sending Banks into Cru. J-Rod throws out Banks and rolls up Cru in a quarter-nelson. Wiley recovers in time to count the victory.

WINNER: J-Rod

After the match, Banks comes in and attempts to help up Cru. An angry Cru shoves Banks off and tells him to go away. Banks pouts away and leaves as Cru recovers in the ring.

Backstage, Mr. Jones is joined by RPW owner Dr. Johnny Gayton. As Dr. Gayton and Jones reflect on what Charlie Cash has done with Pain, the Usual Suspects come into the room. The RPW Tag Team Champions have differing messages for Jones. Murder One thanks him for watching his back, but A.J. Steele makes it clear that he still doesn't like him, nor does he trust him. Jones says he doesn't trust him either, mentioning the scar he got from Steele way back at Memorial Mayhem earlier in the year.

RPW Television Championship: Kyle Matthews vs. Jeremy Vain ©

It is now time for this week's main event, as Kyle Matthews challenges for the TV championship against “The Untouchable” Jeremy Vain. One has to wonder if Jimmy Rave will play a factor in this contest. Matthews immediately goes after the leg of Vain, perhaps taking away Vain's ability to hit the VDT. Vain has no way to escape Matthews early on. Everything Vain attempts leads to Matthews attacking the leg. Vain attempts to get out of the ring to recover, but Matthews follows him. Vain finally gets an opening by slinging Matthews right into the steel barrier at ringside. Vain jumps all over the right arm that Matthews begins to favor after hitting the post. Not only does Vain apply holds to the arm, but he also violently stomps his fingers. Vain then gets dirty and starts choking Matthews in the corner. Vain remains in the control until he goes up the middle rope for an attack. Matthews cuts him off and climbs up to hit a beautiful hurricanrana. Despite a weakened right arm, Matthews continues the attack. After a series of counters, Matthews shocks Vain with the Slurpee kick in the corner. He hooks the inside cradle, but just before a new champion can be crowned, Jimmy Rave and the Approved rush the ring to attack Matthews.

WINNER by DQ: Kyle Matthews

The three men brutalize Matthews until the locker room clears to run them off. The referee raises Matthews arm in victory as this week's show comes to a close.

- from AWN

Things are shaking up pretty heavy at AWN...coming off thislast weekend, we crowned a NEW AWN Heavyweight Champion..."THE REAL DEAL" JAKE SLATER! After an amazing battle between "The Messiah of the Spinebuster", former TNA star DAVID YOUNG and Slater, it looked for certain as if Young was going to retain the AWN title, when not only did we see former champion "The Main Attraction" MICHAEL HIRSCH get involved, but also manager JT SMOOTH, who has now obviously aligned himself with Slater, costing Young the title, and begins a new era in AWN. However many would say this is the beginning of a collision course which will see the 3 go head to head once again to establish themselves as the supremacy of AWN. Both Hirsch and Young have petitioned to AWN Comissioner RICKY SILVER and to AWN Management, and we will see this 3 way collision surface on Friday Night, December 17th at CHRISTMAS CHAOS, inside the confines of a STEEL CAGE!

This coming Friday is Black Friday, and AWN will be no exception, as we will be hearing from the new AWN Heavyweight Champion JAKE SLATER and will be defending in his first title defense against DREW ADLER! Also we will see the undefeated wrecking machine from Japan, TETCHI MAKUJI in a rematch against his biggest opponent yet in MR. JONES. In a 3 way supercard for the AWN Southern Heritage title, champion MICHAEL STEVENS will be defending against ANTHONY ANDREWS (formerly IronWil) and KROSS! More matches to be announced, so stay tuned.

AWN wants to help cushion the blow on your wallets this Friday, as we will have 2 For 1 admission to the show this Friday night (ALL SEATS ONLY $5!) Also we are proud to be partnering with THE GRACE HOUSE in Fort Valley to help feed families throughout the Ft. Valley region...if you bring a bag of non perishable food items to donate this Friday night, youre going to get an additional $1 off your general admission tickets. We are kicking off the holiday season with some super hard hitting action. Make sure you check back to our website, here on Myspace and also Facebook for updated leading up to this coming Friday night!

Great Championship Wrestling next Thursday, 12/02/10, in Phenix City, AL

- from GCW

On December 2nd, 2010, for the first time in a one on one capacity, International wrestling superstar Bull
Buchanan will face Nation , for the richest prize in the southeast region, the GCW Heavyweight Championship. This year especially , the stock of the GCW Heavyweight Championship has risen, due to the increasingly tough set of contenders who consistently challenge for the coveted strap.

The goal of the Championship committee this year was to really make sure that whomever held the championship belt, would be the best on the roster, not due to political strings, but natural raw ability. A champion should be willing to defend his championship against anyone, at any time, regardless of the circumstances.

An example of 2010's highly competitive Championship scene, started in the beginning of the year, when Kyle Matthews won the vacated GCW title, when the reigning champion was no longer able to defend it. Matthews was awarded the championship at 8:32pm on January 28th, 2010. However rather then take the title and go home, Matthews defended the championship that very night, and lost it in a valiant effort against Bull Buchanan less then 45 minutes later. In past years, Matthews might've been able to take advantage of the notorious 30 day rule a champion has, but the championship committee has cracked down sternly on this kind of reputation, and to Matthews credit, he willingly put the title on the line against one of the top stars in the industry, with less then 45 minutes notice. Regardless that he lost, that makes Kyle Matthews the spirit of a true champion.

Another example of the rigors the GCW Champions of this year have gone through to establish the credit of the title, is Scott Steele. Steele won the championship in the shortest recorded GCW Title match in history, putting then champion Murder One away in less then 3 minutes to attain the title on March 25th, 2010, and after winning the championship, subsequently defended the title against an impressive roster of talent. Many say Steele's championship reign was cut short due to his increasingly brutal series of defenses, many of which he fought injured due to a lagging injury at the hands of Johnny Swinger. Still, Steele would accept match after match, with his reign culminating on July 29th, in a triple threat match in which Steele faced both Johnny Swinger & Micah Taylor in a brutal, high stakes match that had the odds against the champion. Steele would lose the championship honorably to Johnny Swinger, however following the loss, Steele found himself mentally burned out from the pressures of being champion, and took personal time away from the promotion proving the taxing efforts of a champion stay with you long after the belt is relinquished. The price of a champion is everlasting glory, and never ending pain.

But possibly the best example of the new championship spirit, comes in the form of the current champion, GCW Heavyweight Title holder, Nation. Nation, who only debuted on March 17th 2010, quickly rose through the promotion due to unrelenting popularity, and a strong audience voice that demanded his skill. After spending the summer coming narrowly close in several Interstate Title matches, Nation took advantage of an open challenge on October 7th, 2010, upsetting Johnny Swinger to win the big prize, the GCW Heavyweight Title, and in doing so, surprised the entire promotion, roster & fanbase alike. Since winning the title, Nation has accepted the challenge of all comers, including Deathrow, Rob Adonis, David Young, and Bull Buchanan.

"He just won't say no" said one GCW superstar. "It's going to catch up with him. But he's loving what he does, he is proud to be a champion and wants to go out every chance he gets to defend it. Alot of people doubted he'd keep the title one week, and now we are approaching 2 months."

However, before Nation reaches that 2 month milestone, one thing stands in his way. Standing nearly seven feet tall, with an international win/loss record like no one in the history of GCW, the tough , rugged mainstay of Greatness, Bull Buchanan, looks to unseat Nation on December 2nd, ending the Cinderella story.

"I like Nation" Buchanan commented. "But i've over come everything this year. Everyone he's beat, I beat first. Everything he's done, i've done twice. It's not about friendship, it's about that belt. And on December 2nd, i take back that prestige. You don't have to like it, but it's going to happen."

Nation had similar words for Buchanan, in preperation for the match on December 2nd.

"Last time we were in the ring together, i was flat on my back and he was standing over me with the GCW title. And i haven't forgotten that image, looking up and seeing him, he's an impressive dude. But i didn't get to where I am, being intimidated. If my time has come to end, then it has come to an end, but i will face it like man with my chin up, and guns blazing strong. He's going to have a fight on December 2nd, because to hold on to this title, I will do anything."

To truly understand the prestige of the championship belt, one must remember it's past, present, and future, and on Thursday, December 2nd, all of those come to a head, in the most anticipated Heavyweight Title Match of the winter. The only question is, what price will either one of these men pay, to walk away with the belt that means everything.

On December 2nd, we'll find out.

- from AWP

1.) Charade & Sylar Cross vs. Curry Kid & Eric Mayne:

Sylar Cross giving his team the size & weight advantage over the Curry Kid & his tag-team partner debuting Eric Mayne. This match went back & forth with a lot of high flying but the quickness of Charade & the power of Sylar Cross overcome Curry Kid & Eric Mayne with Charade & Cross picking up the victory.

Winner of the match: Charade & Sylar Cross

2.) Bobby Blaze vs. J.L. Cool:

This is a rematch between Bobby Blaze & J.L. Cool from the week before. J.L. comes out to a warm ovation from the Arena fans. Mr. Cool controlled most of the match up until Bobby Blaze pulled out a pair of brass knuckles hitting Cool with them to pick up a controversial win.

Winer of the match: Bobby Blaze

3.) "The Natural Redneck" Rick Hayes vs. "Pretty Boy" Alex Michaels:

After both men are in the ring "The inFamous One" Adam Stevens music hits & he comes out to watch the match. Both of these men are no stranger to each other as they have faced off in other wrestling promotions. These men know each other like they know their favorite movie. Hard fought match between both Hayes & Michaels. At one point Hayes was thrown to the floor by Alex & Mr. Stevens just backed away & watched the match unfold. In the end "The Natural Redneck" win by disqualification with interference from the Arena Wrestling Ultimate Champion Jimmy "Ur" Sharp. With Adam Stevens clapping & shaking the hand of "Pretty Boy" Alex Michaels.

Winner of the match: "The Natural Redneck" Rick Hayes

After the match announcers Kelly Miller & Cold Gordy both ask "The inFamous One" why he was out at the ringside area. Mr. Stevens short & sweet tells everyone at the Arena that he told everyone that he was putting an elite stable together & that he was watching everyone that was on the Arena Wrestling Promotion roster.

4.) "Dirty" Shane & Arena Wrestling Ultimate Champion Jimmy "Ur" Sharp vs. Oreo & Ray Stevens Jr.:

Upper hands has to goto "Dirty" Shane & Jimmy Sharp with a height & weight advantage but that is taking nothing away from Oreo & Ray Stevens Jr. Both teams worked very well together as neither tag-team ever tagged together. In the end you saw the Ultimate Champion Jimmy Sharp hitting a top rope leg drop onto Oreo for the 1-2-3.

Winners of the match: Arena Wrestling Ultimate Champion Jimmy "Ur" Sharp & "Dirty" Shane

5.) Deon Mercer vs. Ultimate Wrestling Corporate Champion Psycho Scott (Non-Title Match):

Deon giving up a height, weight, & experience in this match but his fast paced style of wrestling kept the Arena Wrestling Corporate Champion on his toes. Psycho Scott was pulling out all that he could by cheating behind the referee's back but when it was all said & done the speed of the Deon hitting Scott with a sunset flip out of nowhere to get the victory over the champ.

Winner of the match: Deon Mercer

Main Event:

6.) Wes "OMG" Blaze & "True Italian Bad Boy" Chad Guiliani vs. "21st Century Superstar" Devin Lee & Chief Little Lynn w/"The infamous One" Adam Stevens

This has been building up several weeks between Wes Blaze & Adam Stevens after last week Mr. Stevens had Devin Lee & Chief Little Lynn jump Wes Blaze after that match that Wes had with Devin. Chad came out to make the save with Chad telling Wes that he had it back if needed & purposed a tag-team match against Chief & Lee.

Lynn & Lee were underdogs in this tag-team match when it come to size & height but with their knowledge in the ring they were confident that they would have no problem with Mr. Blaze & Mr. Guiliani.

Chief & Devin went right to work on the leg of Wes that Devin started working on the week before. Both teams went back & forth with even Mr. Stevens attacking the leg of Mr. Blaze. All four men started to fight in the ring spilling out to the floor. The referee lost control of the match up allowing them to fight all around the Arena when eventually he called for the bell. All for men fought to the back.

Winners of the match:

Double Count out

Ladies & gentlemen this was an action packed night of professional wrestling. What will come of Bobby Blaze hitting J.L. Cool with a pair of brass knuckles & cheating to win the second week in a row? What about the Arena Wrestling Ultimate Champion Jimmy "Ur" Sharp interfering in "The Natural Redneck" match? Who will be the next member of "The inFamous One" Adam Stevens elite stable as he is watching everyone on the roster? You know that it's far from over as Deon beating the Arena Wrestling Corporate Champion Psycho Scott and you would have to think that both Mr. Blaze & Mr. Guiliani want to get their hands back on Chief Little Lynn & the "21st Century Superstar" Devin Lee but most of all I think that they want to get their hands around the neck of "The inFamous One". Only way to find out what will transpire next is come out next Friday night. Doors open at 6:00pm and bell time is at 7:30pm.

Also don't forget about our new Sunday afternoon show! Doors open at Noon & bell time is at 2:30pm.

Appalachian Championship Wrestling presents "Rage in the Cage", 11/20/10, in Ellijay, GA

- from ACW

ACW proudly presents their final show for 2010, "Rage in the Cage!" We finally have confirmed the use of the Gilmer County Civic Center, and have slashed ticket prices.

Our main event will be a Steel Cage Match, for the ACW Heavyweight Championship. The "Loose Cannon" T.A. Stanton faces the No. 1 Contender, Leatherface! Since Leatherface has had two chances at the ACW Heavyweight Championship against Stanton, the ACW Commissioner has ruled that if Leatherface is unable to take the title from Stanton this time, he will be unable to receive a title shot, for one full year, no matter who the champion is.

At our last show, Brandon Kage ran the Gauntlet against the Cowboys from Hell, who were hired by Ace Heffner. Per pre-match stipulations, Kage received five minutes with Heffner following the match, and proceeded to beat him down, so severely, that no time-table has been confirmed for Heffner's return. However, rumor has it that one of Heffner's men, Tim "Lobo" Lowe, will be in attendance, and has requested a match against Kage, to gain revenge for his manager. Will the match take place?

Also...a return grudge match, as Tiffany Roxx looks to avenge her loss at the last show, against Jessica Wetmore!

Tag team action, as Thunder & Lightning battle The Washington Bullets!

Liam Isley & The "Extreme Assassin" Josh Coulter face off against Drive-By & The "Prince" Brian Lawler

Plus...it was discovered following our September show, that The "Georgia Outlaw" Jesse James managed to short Junior a few tickets, therefore Junior failed to win the prize he'd fought over at Chuck E. Cheese. The ACW commissioner wants to put an end to the shenanigans, so he has ordered a Sesame Street Fight between Junior and Jesse James, where James MUST relinquish the remaining tickets if he loses.

As mentioned, ticket prices have been cut, and are as follows:

Adults: $8
Kids 5 and under are free

If you call and reserve your seat early, you can save $2 off the regular price! And, you don't have to pay for your ticket until you claim it the day of the show.

We'll also be hosting a canned food drive, to help those without on Thanksgiving. Bring a canned food item and save $1 off each ticket!

Belltime will be at 7:00 P.M., doors open at 6:15.

Gilmer County Civic Center
