The show opened up with the team of "The World's Greatest Athlete" Johnny Viper and "The Messiah" Talon Williams taking on the team of Ray Ray (who was making his Empire debut) and the returning Cousin Cletus. Viper and Talon picked up the victory after Viper hit The Final Strike on Ray Ray.

Interim Commissioners Xtreme Generation made their way to the ring next with a briefcase. They stated that Empire now has Tag Team titles, and that they were naming themselves as the tag team champions. But, as they tried to pull the new tag team titles out of the briefcase, Ben Thrasher and JC Kent interrupted them. Ben told Kent that after they beat Extreme Generation later tonight, that they would be the new Empire tag team champions!!However, Xtreme Generation made the match a non title match.

Thunder & Lightening defeated Candyland X-Press (who was making their Empire debut)

Next up, Mr. Showtime made his Empire debut as he took on Chip Hazard. Chip used a chain and beat Mr. Showtime, however, when the referee raised Chip's hand, Chip dropped the chain. The referee saw the chain and restarted the match. Chip then attacked Mr. Showtime. But, as Chip went to hit a clothesline, Mr. Showtime hit a crucifix pin and picked up the victory.

In the first match of the best of 3 series to name the new Empire Heavyweight Champion, Dru Delite defeated KT Hamill and has a 1-0 advantage and is one win away from being the new Empire Heavyweight Champion.

Ben Thrasher & JC Kent defeated The Self Appointed Empire Tag Team Champions Xtreme Generation in a non title match.

The main event of the evening was Damien Frost vs Cyrus in a body bag match. As Frost went to finish off Cyrus with The Nail in the Coffin, Cyrus moved and Damian hit the referee. Cyrus then hit Frost with the Baldo Bomb. But as Cyrus went to wake up the ref, Johnny Viper hit the ring with Chloroform, causing him to pass out. Viper then helped Frost put Cyrus in the body bag, and woke up the Ref. Damien Frost defeated Cyrus in the body bag match. Afterwards, Viper and Frost pulled Cyrus backstage.

Dragon*Con's 10th Anniversary Wrestling show, 09/02-05/11, in Atlanta GA

Dragon*Con's 10th Anniversary Wrestling show, 09/02-05/11, in Atlanta GA

- from Dragon*Com Wrestling

Well Well Well...DCW Wrestling Fans, can you believe it's been 10 years already??? That's right wrestling fans; it's our 10th year anniversary!!!!!! Now I could go on and on about all the things that we have done in the past, but I am not going to do that, oh no. We always bring you a better show than the last one.

I, and my main partner in crime A.J., have come up with a card to go along with an anniversary show, and it is going to be the best show we have ever done. If you have been a long time DCW fan, then you know what that means. So here we go, and in no particular order (because I can)...

How about a 4 way dance for the DCW light Heavy Weight Title? We have 2 former title holders, Chip and Mosley, along with Bo Newsome and someone who I have not told the other 3 about. Now this was going to be a 3 way dance, but with all the trash talk that Chip and Mosley were giving me and each other. About how they were going to get the belt again, and Bo saying he was getting it this time and that he was the better wrestler; I kind of got tired of listening to all of the crap. That's when I decided to add another guy and let them worry about it. (I love my job).

Now if you were at the show a couple of years ago, I know you remember when the action went out of the ring and got a little crazy. Well the cause of the craziness is back. That's right DCW fans the Hollywood Brunets are back, and way better than ever. I have a tag team match for them, but because of all the trouble they caused I have set them up with a tag team match that is going to get me some payback. I figured I wouldn't let them know who they were going up against and give them something else to worry about. Ya know this is going to be fun for me to watch.

For the Triple X-treme Title, a 3 Way Hard Core battle between ICE, Lightning and the return of STD. Oh yeah wrestling fans, we are going HARD CORE. ICE, a former DCW Cup Holder and the reigning Triple X-treme title holder, is going to put the title on the line. So he comes to me and tells me that he wants to get extreme on Lightning because of a little fray they had all because Lightning hit him with a chair after a match. Then, when STD made his return to Triple X-treme, he tells me that he wanted to let everyone know he had returned, better and badder than he has ever been. So what does he do? He comes in and jumps ICE during an interview and puts him through a table. Well wrestling fans that started all kinds of crap. They all wanted it, and you are going to get to see it first hand.

I have Shawn Tempers lined up to take on Rainman, holder of one half of the NWA Tag Team Championship Belts. Nope, not gonna tell you anymore about it, but I think you can get a good idea of what's going to happen in this one!

This match should bring the hotel down, a Monsters Ball. Tank, the man with the plan takes on...the leader of the Shadow Nation...Shadow Jackson, and one of the baddest men on the planet, Kimo, who is accompanied by his manager, Jeff G. Bailey. I know if you are a long time DCW fan, you know who Shadow is, and Kimo has been kick'n some serious butt the last couple of years. Then you have Tank, whose name says it all. These 3 awesome wrestlers have wanted to find out who is the MAN for quite a while.

The Dragons Cup Singles Title will have Brody going against Seth Delay. These 2 have been beating the heck out of each other for quite a while now, and it has been going back and forth on who has been coming out on top. Both of these outstanding wrestlers told me that this one is going to be for all the marbles.

This one should be an awesome match. For the Dragons Cup Tag Team Title, the Hate Junkies, with Father Dan Wilson will be going up against The Usual Suspects.

The Main Event will be a match that you will be talking about for years to come. This is the match that you will need to cover the ladies’ eyes and hide the kids for. 2 of the best wrestlers I have ever seen, and trust me I have seen most everyone since the mid sixties (yeah, I am that old), will be wrestling their last match against each other. Slim J., the man who holds the most titles in DCW history will be going up against Azrael, accompanied by the total babe, Crystal. These 2 outstanding wrestlers approached me about 6 months ago and told me they wanted to have their last match against each other to be at Dragon*Con in front of the best fans anywhere in the country. They have been wrestling against each other on and off for the last 10 years and it’s time to settle the question of who is the best. These 2 wrestled each other 10 years ago at our first show and it has been going on since. Fans, you know both of these wrestlers, and what they are capable of doing in the ring. They have both told me that everything, and I mean everything, is going to be left somewhere in the ball room. Will there be "foreign objects" used in this match, bet on it. Will there be "high flying" in this match, just hide and watch. Fans get your cameras ready for this one!!!!

DCW fans, you know that there will be other things going on at the show. There always is. Do I have some surprises for you? I always do. There are times that I don't know what's going to happen because wrestlers just show up and want to be part of the show. It gets to be an adventure sometimes. But all of us go all out all the time, because we have the best fans anywhere. We could not do this without you! Remember, Friday night of the Con, 7:00pm, pool level of the Hyatt, the rooms on the left. And for the Ladies, if you want to be a ring babe and escort a wrestler to the ring, stop by around 5:00pm.

Eric Walker pinned Joey Kidman;

Seth Delay pinned The Vandal;

The Konkrete Gorillaz (Nemesis, Brian Blaze & Geter) pinned The Washington Bullets (Jon Williams & Trey Williams) and Shane Marx &Mason;

Platinum Championship Wrestling Rankings: Champion---Grotesque; 1---Mason; 2---Kyle Matthews; 3---Shane Marx; 4---Chip Day; 5---Seth Delay; 6---Dany Only; 7---Pandora; 8---Master Jae; 9---The Vandal; 10---Davey Richards

Notes from the show:

When Miss Rachael declared that nobody had ever beated Grotesque cleanly in a match, and if they had that they would get a title shot, The Phantom appeared and blinded Grotesque with a mysterious mist spewed from his mouth. The Phantom, in fact, had beaten Grotesque in a strange referee stoppage more than a year ago, where Grotesque never left his feet but nontheless was choked out. After that match, Grotesque suddenly sprang to life and attacked the referee, took apart the ring and attacked wrestlers with the turnbuckle steel and the ring rope, and famously marched through the crowd, sending them running everywhere. PCW Champion Grotesque will face The Phantom for the PCW Title on August 26th in order to abide by the 30-day rule of defending one's title

"Record Breaking" Tommy Daniels and Simon Sermon challenged Dwight Power to pick someone from the Empire crew to team up with to face them on August 26th

Dany Only has been announced to take on "The Shooter" Vordell Walker at Sacred Ground: Chapter Two

"Hand of Steel" Seth Delay won the second match in the Vandal Invitational, going up in the best-of-seven series 2-0

The final match in the series between the Washington Bullets and Shane Max and Mason will take place on August 26th. The winner will face The Konkrete Gorillaz (Brian Blaze and Geter) at Sacred Ground: Chapter Two on September 24th

Also on August 26th, Lee Roy will face De La Vega in a Kumite match. Lee Roy is unfeated in Kumite matches, where the ropes are removed and victory is attained through knocking out your opponent, forcing him to tap out, or knocking him off of the mat.

De La Vega returned with Prima Donna in tow, and the two cut an incredbily bizarre promo featuring Prima Donna decked out in a kimono and speaking Japanese, and De La Vega alternating between laughing and being extremely serious. De La Vega implied that Oscar Worthy would join them next week.

Stephen Platinum announced that the ROH title match at Sacred Ground: Chapter Two would be done under a set of rules known as the Platinum Trinity Rules -- when one of the wrestlers pins or submits another, that defeated wrestler is put out of the match. The remaining two wrestlers have five minutes to defeat the other, or the previously eliminated wrestler is put back into the match. This is to assure that truly the best wrestler wins

Sacred Ground: Chapter Two will take place September 24th at
Sharon Baptist Church
536 North Ola Rd
McDonough, Georgia

Matches include:

In a cage:

PCW World Champion (currently Grotesque) versus #1 contender Mason

Pandora versus Aesha Sunshine (Daffney is the special referee)

Jay Fury versus Nemesis

Also:

ROH Champion Davey Richards versus "The Revelation" Shane Marx versus Kyle Matthews (Platinum Trinity Rules)

NWA World Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce will wrestle "Do Or Die" Chip Day

The finals of the 2011 Tag Team Season will take place as the Konkrete Gorillaz (Brian Blaze and Geter) will take on the winner of the Washington Bullets/Shane Marx and Mason series

Dany Only versus "The Shooter" Vordell Walker

A Platinum Royal will take place, and the winner would, in theory, be able to challenge any of the champions on the Sacred Ground: Chapter Two card at a later date

3 Years and Counting-

Ben Masters comes out to inform everyone that in two weeks, NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling will be celebrating their 3-Year Anniversary. He then goes on to review the competitors scheduled to compete on today’s card.

“Hit for Hire” Bobby Moore (w/ Charlie Cash) vs Caleb Konley (w/ Cedric Alexander)

Referee: Stan Robinson

Moore served as somewhat of a comic relief, as he frequently was getting frustrated at his failed attempts to take advantage of the match and often insulted the ref and his opponent. After about 4 minutes, Cash gets involved by preventing Konley from successfully jumping from the top rope, allowing Moore to capitalize. Cash was noticeably annoyed when Moore was on the short end of the match and even when he was showing off while having the upper hand. Konley takes over the match around 7 minutes in and lands some very impressive strikes to Moore before being slammed face-first into the turnbuckle. In the end, Konley wins with an Inverted Knee Facebuster.

Result: Caleb Konley wins via Pinfall at 10:06

“The Winner” Anthony Andrews, Sal Rinauro, Jeremy Vain (w/ Doug Somers) vs“Marvelous” Michael Stevens, Drew Adler, Officer Chris Jacobs

Referee: Dustin Robinson

Sal and Adler start off with some impressive technical wrestling. Andrews tags in but promptly tags out when Jacobs is tagged in against him. When Marv enters the fray he continuously appeals to the crowd to get them more vocally involved in the match. Somers managed to trip Marv without being noticed by the ref and the team lead to the ring by Andrews gained the advantage, tagging out to each other to keep Marv worn down. Marv fights back, and hot tags Adler in around the 8 minute mark. Everyone gets involved, with Jacobs and Andrews tagging in as the legal men. Andrews is knocked out of the ring during the fray and goes to hiding under the ring. When Marv and Adler dive to the outside to take down Rinauro and Vain, Andrews sneaks in behind the now alone Jacobs to land a Rolling Cutter for the win.

Result: Anthony Andrews, Sal Rinauro, Jeremy Vain win via Pinfall (Andrews pins Jacobs) at 10:26

Rob Adonis (w/ Charlie Cash) vs Frankie Valentine

Referee: Stan Robinson

Cash seemed much less frustrated with Adonis through the match, even when he was losing or showing off. Adonis holds the advantage for much of the match with the impressive strength and overwhelming size that he boasts. Just as Valentine was making a real come back, Jeremy Vain and Doug Somers come to the ring and attack him, prompting a disqualification.

Result: Frankie Valentine wins via Disqualification (Interference) at 5:26

Doc Gayton comes out with a chair to make the save. He then gets a mic and cuts a promo stating that the No Time Limit Match that Vain still owes Valentine for the Television Title will be held at RPW’s 3rd Anniversary show.

Corey Hollis vs J-Rod

Referee: Dustin Robinson

These two put on an amazing match. It started almost exclusively technical until Hollis was kicked from the ring around the 3 minute mark. Upon returning to the ring, the match seemed to get more violent as Hollis continues to get angrier at J-Rod, and the two start using more and more blows to replace some of the technical wrestling they started with, as well as even getting in some trash talking. When Hollis took advantage, the crowd would always start making some noise for J-Rod. Every time J-Rod would kick out of a pin or escape a submission, Hollis would get even more frustrated. After a brief come back from J-Rod, he show boats for a few seconds and is rolled up by Hollis, tights in hand, for the finish.

Corey Hollis wins via Pinfall at 9:02

NWA RPW Tag Team Championship Match

Hot Like Lava (Shaun Banks, Cru Jones)(C) vs 7Oh!4 (Caleb Konley, Cedric Alexander)

Referee: Stan Robinson

Banks briefly mentions the new Hot Like Lava shirts being sold. Banks and Jones do a lot of trash talking in this match. Alexander gets the crowd excited with some excellent technical wrestling before moving on to strategically tagging back and forth to stay fresh against a worn down Shaun Banks. Cru Jones tags in and both teams seem to stay on even ground for the rest of the match. At one point Cru and Banks illegally switch behind Referee Stan Robinson, which is nothing new to their trick list. Hot Like Lava keep advantage for a while until Alexander lands a surprise Bulldog and hot tags Konley around 7 minutes in. 7Oh!4 seem to have the match won when they catch Banks alone and land a double team move combining a kick to the back of his head with an Inverted Russian Leg Sweep, but Banks kicks out and escapes the ring. Banks then gets himself Disqualified by deliberately using the Tag Title belt as a weapon.

Result: 7Oh!4 wins via Disqualification (illegal object use) at 8:48

Hot Like Lava continue the assault after the match until the Usual Suspects make the save. Doc comes out and announces that Hot Like Lava will be defending the Tag Titles later on against the Usual Suspects and that he is confident that there will be new Tag Team Champions.

During the brief break we are shown some interviews that Ben Masters did during NWA Legends Fanfest, including the likes of Mr. Wrestling #2, Austin Idol, and Greg Valentine.

Jimmy Rave Approved (“Do Or Die” Chip Day, Mike Posey)(w/ Jimmy Rave) vs Kyle Matthews (originally advertised to team up with Ace Rockwell)

Referee: Stan Robinson

Rave tells Matthews that since he took care of Ace Rockwell in NWA Chattanooga the night before, he could just simply quit and leave. After the crowd gets behind Matthews, he agrees to wrestle the match alone. Matthews does a good job of annoying the Approved group in the early portion of the match and even goes out of the ring to hit Jimmy Rave. Rave gets a little pay back by attacking Matthews but is dismissed from ringside by Referee Stan Robinson. Matthews succumbs to the numbers game for a while with the Approved team using a lot of their double team tactics on him. Matthews eventually makes a come back and pushes Chip Day from the ring, who pulls out the referee shortly after to interrupt a pin attempt. With the referee focused on Chip Day, Sal Rinauro comes out and delivers a Low Blow to Matthews and leaves. Posey picks up the win.

Jimmy Rave Approved wins via Pinfall (Posey pins Matthews) at 13:08

Rave, Sal, and Corey all come out and they all continue to attack Kyle Matthews until Doc Gayton comes out. He tells them that Sal is suspended and that the next person who attacks Matthews will suffer the same punishment. He then goes on to say that if Sal is seen in the RPW Arena or even at Johnny G’s Fun Center during his suspension that he will be fired.

NWA RPW Tag Team Championship Match

Hot Like Lava (Shaun Banks, Cru Jones)(C) vs The Usual Suspects (Murder One, AJ Steele)

Referee: Dustin Robinson

AJ and Cru start the match off by trying to overpower each other with their strength. Murder is eventually brought in and spits in the face of Banks, causing him to enter the ring illegally but is stopped by the ref. Surprisingly, the Suspects didn’t utilize this distraction to perform anything illegal like their opponents would have. Once Banks does tag in, Hot Like Lava manages to take advantage with their usual double team tactics. AJ Steele is noticeably vocal from the apron, breaking his vow of silence, when Hot Like Lava would use illegal tactics behind the referee. The more Hot Like Lava pinned and took down Murder One, the more he would kick out which lead to them getting increasingly frustrated with him. Murder comes out of nowhere with a Cutter, which he usually uses as his finisher, and hot tags AJ Steele in around the 10 minute mark. Banks and Jones attempt to get themselves Disqualified by using the Titles as they did with 7Oh!4 earlier. Cru holds Steele as Banks attempts to hit him, but AJ ducks out and Cru takes the blow. Murder One gets in the ring and they land a Double Choke Slam on Shaun Banks for the victory.

Restult: The Usual Suspects win via Pinfall (AJ Steele pins Shaun Banks) at 10:51
