New Charlie Smith Shoot Interview DVD available from Crowbar Press

New Charlie Smith Shoot Interview DVD available from Crowbar Press

Charlie Smith embodies the true meaning of the words "wrestling legends." He got his start in wrestling in the Atlanta, Georgia area in the late 1950s, first wrestling at Lakewood Boys Club, and then refereeing for Ray Gunkel and Don McIntyre's promotion. For more than two decades, he made his living traveling from town to town, setting up the ring and refereeing in towns, both big and small, throughout the state. In later years, he promoted and booked shows in many of the smaller towns.

Some of the topics covered by Charlie include:
• His introduction to the wrestling business
• Wrestling with a semi-pro "outlaw" promotion
• Making a $7 investment to make $5
• Traveling and working with Freddie Blassie
• Working at the wrestling office for Ray Gunkel and Don McIntyre
• Selling tickets at the back door to avoid the fire marshall
• Referee Doug Smith "kills" promoter Ray Gunkel
• Life on the road and traveling to towns
• Getting blood the hardway
• "When two fools meet ..."
• Wrestling at the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary
• Doug Gilbert accepts Robert Fuller's challenge
• Juice and the blade
• "The entire crew and the night watchman, too."
• Life after wrestling
• Don and Ray Stevens

Click here to order the DVD for $18

Or, look for Charlie at a local show working his gimmick table and buy an autographed copy from him personally.

- DCW

THE SHOW OPENED UP WITH ALLSTAR IN THE RING. HE SAYS THAT DUE TO HIM BEING GONE ON DCW BUSINESS, THAT TOMMY GAGE IS STILL HIS SLAVE FOR ONE MORE NIGHT. AND THAT HE WILL NOT WRESTLE TOMMY TONIGHT. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE RUNS DCW. KELLY MILLER THEN MADE HIS WAY TO THE RING. HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO ALLSTAR, TOLD HIM HE IS THE NEW COMMISSIONER, AND THE HE WILL WRESTLE TOMMY TONIGHT. HE SENT ALLSTAR TO THE BACK. HE THEN BROUGHT JOHNNY BLAZE TO THE RING AND TOLD HIM HE WOULD HAVE HIS MATCH WITH WES AT RED, WHITE AND BRUISED IN JULY INSIDE THE STEEL CAGE. WES THEN CAME TO THE RING AND SAID THAT JOHNNY BLAZE STILL HAD TO WIN HIS MATCHES TO KEEP HIS JOB. HE THEN ANNOUNCED THAT JOHNNY WOULD BE FACING MATT GILBERT.

MATT "FREAKIN" GILBERT MADE HIS WAY TO THE RING. WHEN HE AND JOHNNY WOULD GO TO LOCK UP, MATT WOULD RUN. HOWEVER, WHEN HE TRIED TO RUN THE THIRD TIME, JOHNNY GRABBED HIS TIGHTS AND GAVE HIM A HUGE CLOTHESLINE. MATT, HOWEVER GAINS CONTROL AND GIVES JOHNNY BLAZE THE DOUBLE BACK CHOP, BUT THIS DID NOT AFFECT BLAZE. JOHNNY THROWS MATT INTO THE CORNER AND CHOPS MATT. BLAZE THEN GOES FOR A CHOKE SLAM, BUT (WHILE DOOMSDAY HAD THE REF DISTRACTED) MATT LOW BLOWS JOHNNY. MATT THEN HIT A DOUBLE BACK DROP FROM THE TOP ROPE. MATT THEN TRIED TO GET DOOMSDAY INVOLVED AGAIN, BUT IT DIDNT HAPPEN, AND JOHNNY HIT THE CHOKESLAM ON MATT FOR THE WIN.

AFTER THE MATCH MATT SHOVES DOOMSDAY AFTER HAVING WORDS, AND DOOMSDAY ATTACKED MATT. DOOMSDAY THEN ANNOUNCED THAT HIS MATCH LATER IN THE NIGHT WOULD BE HIS LAST.

CYRUS VS CHAD "THE BAD" CASE WAS UP NEXT. THESE TWO MEN BARELY GOT STARTED AND THE ALLSTAR ATTACKED CHAD. THE REF THREW THIS MATCH OUT. AFTER CYRUS CHASED OFF ALLSTAR, KELLY CAME BACK OUT AND ANNOUNCED THAT CHAD AND CYRUS WOULD TEAM UP TO FACE ALLSTAR AND A PARTNER OF HIS CHOOSING.

MATT GILBERT BROUGHT HIS NEW BIG MAN, ASH TO TAKE ON DOOMSDAY. ASH TOOK CONTROL EARLY. DOOMSDAY WAS ABLE TO COUNTER A MOVE AND TAKE CONTROL. HOWEVER, HIS BLOWS DIDNT AFFECT ASH. DOOMSDAY FINALLY TOOK ASH DOWN. ASH REVERSE DOOMSDAY AND SPLASHES HIM IN THE CORNER. DOOMSDAY, HOWEVER, WAS ABLE TO HIT THE FINAL JUDGMENT FOR THE WIN. WE AT DCW ARE SAD TO SEE DOOMSDAY GO AND WISH HIM THE BEST OF LUCK WITH HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

THE RIVALRY BETWEEN SHAWN BELL AND DAVID GAGE CAME TO A HEAD TONIGHT AS THESE TWO MEN FINALLY STEPPED INTO THE RING TOGETHER. DAVID STARTED OUT HOT, BEATING DOWN BELL. BELL TOOK ADVANTAGE AND APPLIED SOME VERY UNIQUE SUBMISSION HOLDS. BOTH MEN THEN TRADED BLOWS, NEITHER GAINING ADVANTAGE FOR LONG. THIS MATCH ENDED IN A TIME LIMIT DRAW, AFTER THE MATCH BELL ATTACKED DAVID AND LEFT HIM LAYING IN THE RING.

THE TAG MATCH BETWEEN CHAD CASE, CYRUS, THE ALLSTAR AND A PARTNER OF HIS CHOOSING WAS UP NEXT. ALLSTAR'S PARTNER WAS TOMMY GAGE. CHAD AND TOMMY STARTED THE MATCH FOR THEIR TEAMS. TOMMY TOOK THE EARLY ADVANTAGE. HE HIT A SPRING BOARD MOONSAULT BUT ONLY GOT A TWO COUNT. TOMMY THEN DOMINATED CHAD. CHAD FINALLY TAGS IN CYRUS WHO THEN ASKS TOMMY TO TAG IN ALLSTAR. CYRUS DOMINATED ALLSTAR, HITTING A BIG BODYSLAM ON ALLSTAR. CYRUS THEN TAGS IN CHAD WHO CONTINUES TO BEAT DOWN ALLSTAR. ALLSTAR FINALLY MAKES HIS WAY TO TOMMY, BUT WHEN HE WENT FOR THE TAG, TOMMY BACKED OFF. CYRUS HITS A MASSIVE LEG DROP FROM THE TOP ROPE AND WAS ABLE TO PICK UP THE WIN. AFTER THE MATCH, TOMMY FINALLY GOT HIS HANDS ON ALLSTAR, AND HE BEAT HIM DOWN.

BROTHER FUSION (BRANDON AND JASON COLLINS) PUT THEIR DCW TAG TEAM TITLES ON THE LINE AGAINST BIG RED AND AARON G NEXT. BRANDON AND JASON HAD SEVERAL ILLEGAL OBJECTS IN THEIR GEAR. AFTER THEY GOT RID OF THE ILLEGAL OBJECTS, THEY ATTACKED RED AND AARON. HOWEVER RED TAKES CONTROL. HE THEN TAGS IN AARON. BRANDON WAS ABLE TO RAKES THE EYES OF AARON AND TAKE OVER. BROTHER FUSION CUT THE RING IN HALF AND KEPT AARON FROM TAGGING IN THE FRESH RED. AARON HITS A BIG CLOTHESLINE OUT OF NO WHERE. AARON IS ABLE TO TAG IN RED AS BRANDON TAGS IN JASON. BRANDON THEN TRIES TO HIT A SUPERKICK ON RED, BUT RED DUCKS. JASON THEN HITS BRANDON WITH A PIECE OF PLYWOOD. RED AND AARON ARE ABLE TO FINALLY PIN BROTHER FUSION AND ARE THE NEW DCW TAG REAM CHAMPIONS!

AFTER THE MATCH JASON BLAMED BRANDON, AND SAYS IF BRANDON KISSES HIS FOOT, HE WOULD FORGIVE HIM. BRANDON SAYS NO AND JASON ATTACKS HIM. JASON HITS A PILEDRIVER ON BRANDON ONTO A CHAIR. BRANDON WAS SERIOUSLY HURT AND MOTIONLESS. BRANDON WAS TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL. WE ARE WAITING ON FURTHER WORD AS TO THE CONDITION OF BRANDON COLLINS. ALL WE KNOW AT THIS TIME IS THAT IT'S A SERIOUS NECK INJURY.

THE LAST MAN STANDING MATCH BETWEEN WES "OMG" BLAZE AND "THE ONE" JOEY IDOL W/ AMBER YOUNG WAS UP NEXT. JOEY ATTACKED WES QUICK AND THE MEN SPILLED OUT ONTO THE FLOOR. JOEY CONTINUES THE BEAT DOWN. JOEY IS TAKING ALL THE BUILT UP ANGER OUT ON WES. WES TAKES OVER AND AGAIN THE MATCH SPILLS TO THE OUTSIDE. THEY THEN FIGHT INTO THE CROWD. WES FALLS DOWN THE BLEACHERS AND IS BUSTED WIDE OPEN. THE MEN MAKE IT BACK INTO THE RING AND WES HITS THE SPINEBUSTER OUT OF NO WHERE. BOTH MEN ARE DOWN BUT MAKE IT TO THEIR FEET BY THE COUNT OF 8. AFTER A SUPERPLEX, BOTH MEN ARE DOWN AGAIN, AND AGAIN THEY MAKE IT TO THEIR FEET BY THE COUNT OF 8. JOEY HITS THE PEDIBREAKER AND BOTH MEN ARE DOWN AGAIN, AND REF BOB COUNTS TO TEN. HE THEN SAYS THE FIRST ON TO HIS FEET WINS. JOEY MAKES IT TO HIS FEET, BUT THE REF IS DISTRACTED BY WES. AMBER THEN LOW BLOWS JOEY AND HE FALLS TO HIS KNEES. WES STANDS UP AND IS THE WINNER.

THE MAIN EVENT WAS AN ULTIMATE SUBMISSION MATCH FOR THE DCW CHAMPIONSHIP. "THE WORLD'S GREATEST ATHLETE" JOHNNY VIPER DEFENDED HIS TITLE AGAINST OREO. THE ONLY WAY TO WIN THIS MATCH WAS TO HAVE THE MOST SUBMISSIONS AFTER 30 MINS. VIPER ATTACKED OREO'S INJURED KNEE AND GOT A QUICK SUBMISSION AS HE APPLIED A FIGURE FOUR WITH OREO'S KNEE TANGLED UP IN THE ROPES. VIPER THEN ATTACKED THE KNEE OF OREO BUT OREO REVERSED AND FORCED VIPER TO TAP OUT. THIS TIED THE MEN UP AT ONE WITH 2 MINS LEFT, OREO APPLIED A SECOND SUBMISSION, THE ANACONDA VISE. VIPER FOUGHT AND FOUGHT BUT FINALLY PASSED OUT FROM THE PAIN. OREO WAS DECLARED THE WINNER AND THE NEW DCW CHAMPION!

Terry Batey opened the show with an update on his neck injury and stated that he wouldn't be signing a contract with Waylon Rhodes tonight. The Commissioner was interrupted by "Southern Stud" Waylon Rhodes who was there to gloat over attacking Terry last week. Ace Haven hit the ring to protect Terry Batey before Waylon even had a chance to get on the apron. Waylon revealed that due to a legal restraining order, Ace could not touch Waylon unless it was in a ProSouth-sanctioned match. This prompted Damon TAZ to come out and challenge Waylon to a match later in the night. Terry told the fans that he was going to take the night off and relax at home.

collumbine defeated the returning Bobby Moore;
Johnny Viper challenged JD Rush to a rematch and defeated him due to underhanded tactics;

Tag Team Champions Xtreme Xpress (Ace Haven & Robi Vio) went to a double count-out with D2daC & Stupid w/Tweety;

After a short intermission, Waylon and his Anti-Terry Regime (D2daC & Stupid w/Tweety) came to the ring with a contract for a match. Waylon called out Team Terry (collumbine & Xtreme Xpress) and asked them to sign the match. Damon TAZ then make an appearance stating that if they was gonna be a match for control of the company then Damon TAZ wanted to fight for Terry Batey. In a move of arrogance or confidence, collumbine told TAZ that he had the situation under control. collumbine then went into a heartfelt speech about the impact Terry Batey has had on his life. Ace interrupted him saying that it was a pointless gamble to risk the company just to beat up the "Southern Stud". A brawl broke out and before anybody had time to realize what was happening, collumbine had signed the contract, making the match official. Team Waylon left smiling, knowing that next week they have their chance to win control of the company. collumbine shook hands with Robi Vio, and tried to with Ace Haven. Ace, unhappy with collumbine's decision to sign the match, left him and his tag team partner alone in the ring.

El Mexicano defeated Vega by pinfall;

"The Brand New Man" Johnny Rage & "Action" Mike Jackson defeated The Ultimate Dragon & Murder One of the Golden Rule when Rage got the pinfall on Dragon. Afterword, Rage reminded Dragon that he was still coming for him and Dragon suggested he would have to go through Mexicano.

Nigel Sherrod & Matt Sells went to a 15 minute time limit draw. The crowd wanted 5 more minutes,but Sherrod said he had only signed a contract for 15. Commisioner Noles said that was fine because on May 1st,the 2 of them would meet in a no-time limit match.

Cameron Valentine retained the PWA Heritage title over Chip Day after Day was pinned while in the figure-four leglock.

To insure there would be no interference from the Dragon, he was supposed to be handcuffed to Commmisioner Noles at the announcer's table. Yet after a long match, the Ultimate Dragon came out to distract the referee allowing Valentine to clip Day's leg from behind and set up the figure-four. The "Dragon" pulled off his mask to reveal that it was El Mexicano under the mask! Noles called Dragon outside the ring, saying he wasn't dumb enough to get in the ring with his lackeys. He told Dragon that he wasn't going to make a fool out of him or the rest of the PWA fans. He said 2 years of this garbage was more than enough for one man to take, and that Dragon better wipe that smile out from under his mask before he slapped it off for him. Dragon continued,to which Noles replied "You think it's funny?" and proceeded to slap the Dragon right across the face. He said "There's a new way of doing things in the PWA and you just got a dose of it." AS Noles turned to walk away,the Dragon hit him in the back with a double ax handle. He ordered Mexicano to get a chair and jabbed Noles in the stomach with it. After waiting for Noles to get to his feet, he delivered a sick and thunderous chair shot to the Commisoner's back. The Golden Rule celebrated in the ring and said now there was no doubt who runs this town. Noles was helped to the back by JBLementary and security. The Golden Rule had to just about fight their way back to the locker room as several fans had to be restrained as well as many throwing water bottles and tin foil wrappers.

Johnny Swinger defeated Bull Buchanan by pinfall after using a foreign object pulled from his tights. Bull chased him around ringside before calling out the Commisioner, who limped to the ring. Bull said on May 1st that he'd work for free if he could get a re-match with Swinger in a Georgia Rules-no dq match. Noles said that sounded fine to him and to bring whatever weapons you wanted because Swinger's all yours. Bull then chased Swinger to the locker room before security broke it up.Noles said he couldn't guarentee anything else on May 1st except that the Dragon would not leave Copeland Hall under his own power!

The card for PWA's show, May 1st:

Bull Buchanan vs. Johnny Swinger in a Georgia Rules-No DQ match;

Kid J vs. Little Bruiser in a midget match;

Johnny Rage vs. El Mexicano;

Nigel Sherrod vs. Matt Sells in a No-time limit match in which there must be a decisive winner;

The Ultimate Dragon & Cameron Valentine vs. the PWA debut of Celtic Nation;

Results: Great Championship Wrestling, 04/21/10, in Phenix City, AL

Great Championship Wrestling opened up with the announcement that TNA superstar RAVEN would be making his return to GCW, on April 29th 2010. It's been announced that RAVEN will face the leader of the Conglomerate , Murder One, in a battle of two different generations of unorthodox brawlers, and masters of pyschological warfare.

The first match saw Jimmy the Kid and Eric Mayne defeat the team of A.R. FOX and NAVY Blue, when Eric Mayne/Jimmy the Kid hit a flying cross body/flying elbow combo respectively on Fox.

Ric King upset The Butcher by pinfall after Bull Buchanan ran out and nailed Butcher with his own steel chain. Buchanan later told GCWACTION.COM "an eye for an eye, he cost me my match last week, now he knows how it feels." From there, Buchanan would prepare for his match later on with Butchers stablemate, Sal Rinauro.

Mike Kross retained the GCW Interstate Championship against Kyle Matthews, after hitting the sliced bread on his opponent to pick up the win. Afterwards, Matthews, who seemed very distracted, became further distraught when it was announced that next week, Stalker will return to Great Championship Wrestling, and face Matthews..in a CASKET MATCH.

Nation finally scored his first win in GCW, pinning Marvelous Michael Stevens in just under ten minutes, following an impressive standing shooting star press.

Bull Buchanan defeated Sal Rinauro by dq, when the Butcher ran in and clipped Bulls leg with the metal chain. Rinauro had dedicated most of the match to working over Buchanans wheel, which was further assaulted when Butcher nailed it repeatedly with the metal chain, until Mike Kross ran out with a chair to make the save. GCW has announced a tag team match for April 29th, featuring Sal Rinauro and The Butcher vs. Mike Kross & Bull Buchanan.

Scott Steele defeated Johnny Swinger by dq, when Swingers temporary alliance with Murder One quickly dissolved. For weeks in backstage segments, Murder One has been taking shots at the GCW Juggernaut, but tonight it seemed like they were aligned in the hope of resting the GCW Championship away from Steele. However, in the end, when Swinger held Steele wide open for Murder to crack the champion with his own belt, Steele ducked out of the way, and Murder One hit Swinger. Many people wondered whether or not Murder hit Swinger by accident, or on purpose, as there seemed to be a delay between the time Steele ducked, and Murder swung. None the less, Steele hit a spear on Murder and quickly covered Swinger for the three count, to end the show.

Afterwards, GCWACTION.COM had announced that due to the complex nature of the main events ending, Johnny Swinger has filed an injunction to get an immediate re-match, barring any outside interference. The only problem is, currently, Scott Steeles next contractual title defense isn't until May 6th, and thats when Steele will defend the championship against former champion Murder One...who just so happens to be the man who cost Swinger the match tonight.

GCW is expected to make a formal announcement this weekend concerning the situation, as well as update the final card for May 6ths Mega Mayhem, which will feature all the active GCW Championships on the line, a Dog Collar Match, an announcement concerning the Tag Team Title situation, and much more.

The final stop before Mega Mayhem, is this Thursday, when GCW presents TNA SUPERSTAR RAVEN, live in Phenix City, April 29th , from the GCW arena. Raven will face Murder One; also slated is the much anticipated Kyle Matthews vs. Stalker battle, Mike Kross/Bull Buchanan vs. Sal Rinauro/The Butcher, and the first ever GCW meeting between The Wrestling Hybrid Orion Bishop, and the GCW Juggernaut Johnny Swinger!

- from AWN

The show opened with Commissioner Don Anderson fuming about what happened at the end of last week’s show where Mike Money came out and reversed a decision that cost the Beautiful Bald Sensations the AWN TAG TEAM TITLES! He then introduced his new beautiful personal assistant "LEGS". He said that when he is not there that Legs will act on his behalf and will make the necessary decisions concerning AWN.

Then to the surprise of the Commissioner and the fans, "Superstar" J-Stakka’s music hits and he cuts off Commissioner Don Anderson’s promo.  J-Stakka basically wanted to know what it would take for him to get with his new Assistant Legs. Commissioner Don then told him that he was WAY OUT of his league that she was high class and that he was nothing, Commissioner Don went on to offer Stakka a deal. He told J-Stakka that he could be something if he was under his power. Commissioner Don then laid it down and told J-Stakka that if he could beat him he could have Legs, but if he lost that Commissioner Don would have his contract. He would have to do anything the Commissioner or his personal assistant Legs says. J-Stakka accepted. (Match started right after, both men in street clothes)

Match 1: Valet vs Contract:
Commissioner Don Anderson w/Legs vs J-Stakka
Winner: Commissioner Don Anderson

Match 2: DL Norris vs Douglas McGuiness
Winner: Douglas McGuiness

Match 3: Danny Horne vs CJ Awesome
Winner: CJ Awesome (CJ proved he was the #1 Contender for the AWN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE – Awesome he was CJ had his hands full during this hard fought battle which was not an easy one with former AWN World Heavy Weight Champion “Dangerous” Danny Horne - Great win for CJ Awesome)

Match 4: Slaughter Pit vs The Beautiful Bald Sensations (BBS)
Match ended in a NO CONTEST! (There seemed to be a lot of friction between Q and Zac here after losing the Tag Titles last week. The opening promo that Zac does before the beginning of his matches was cut off by Q as both men exchanged words. They shoved each other several times and very hard tag-ins during the match. After the match Q left ringside as he watched Zac get crushed by the Slaughter Pit. It seems the tension is building between these two – you better stay tuned to see what develops next between the BBS.)

***”Marvelous” Michael Stevens, Leon McMichael, Drew Adler, and Mike Kross come out to celebrate a win the Marvelous Ones got last week. They danced as Michael Stevens sang. Commissioner Don Anderson interupted and told them that the fun was over and that it would be The Marvelous Ones facing Drew Adler and Mike Kross later tonight.***

Match 5: AWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Marvelous Ones(C) vs Drew Adler/Mike Kross
Winners and still AWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Marvelous Ones

(After the Match - Kross and Adler went back to the dressing room leaving Stevens and McMichaels at ringside) Q-Ball and Zac Edwards came out of no where but were cut off by the Marvelous Ones. J-Stakka came out as well but didn’t get involved.  But, Legs along with Ms. Delta Rayne tried to get him to do something to even the score. He finally posted Iron Wil who was already at ringside with the Marvelous Ones. He got in the ring after Q and Zac had taken advantage but still didn’t do anything as Q was telling him to help! CJ Awesome then went out to the ring Zac and J-Stakka leaving Q alone as Q-Ball felt the wrath of CJ Awesome! After CJ had Q down on the mat Shane Curtis from behind hit CJ with his devastating spinning neck breaker and gloated as he stood over him! Shane then took his frustrations out on the others.  It appeared Curtis had snapped! Shane then had Security escort all the fallen junk out of the ring and said that he had a match to get ready for.

Main Event: AWN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Shane Curtis(C) w/Ms. Delta Rayne and Legs vs ASH w/Douglas McGuiness
Winner and still AWN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION:Shane Curtis - Very good match that saw some of the best workers in AWN in Tag Teams as Ash looked very good in his match going solo. But Curtis was just a little too dominate on this occasion.

Rampage Pro Wrestling's "Gene Gayton Memorial Mayhem" show this Saturday, 04/24/10, in Warner Robins, GA

- from RPW

Rampage Pro Wrestling's “Gene Gayton Memorial Mayhem” on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30pm at the RPW Arena @ Johnny G's at 815 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up and $7 for ages 4-12. Call 404-317-0134 or visit www.rampageprowrestling.net for more information. Card is subject to change.
On Saturday, April 24, it will be business as usual for our first hour as we tape our television show. But once that first hour ends, the TV cameras will be shut off entirely in order to present Memorial Mayhem. This card will feature matches intended to settle the biggest feuds in RPW, which no doubt will be way too violent to air on television. The ONLY way to see Memorial Mayhem and these five huge matches, including not one but TWO cage matches, is to join us at the RPW Arena @ Johnny G's LIVE, 7:30pm on Saturday night, April 24 for one of RPW's biggest shows of the year!
RPW Heavyweight Championship: Austin Creed vs. Bull Buchanan©

On the first show of 2010 on January 8, Austin Creed made his thrilling debut with Rampage Pro Wrestling. He made his mark with an impressive victory over then-Cash Vault member Frankie Valentine. However, his singles victory wasn't the end of that icy Friday night for Creed. Due to the weather situation creating problems for several RPW wrestlers, Commissioner Nick Patrick made a match to reward the wrestlers that made it to the show. He created a battle royal which allowed the winner to challenge for any title in RPW at any event he wished. Creed took full advantage of the opportunity, eliminating both Usual Suspects to emerge victorious. While Creed was impressing the RPW crowd, another mark was being made. Bull Buchanan has been unstoppable since storming into RPW and immediately winning the Heavyweight Championship. Buchanan has stomped through the competition, keeping his title at every turn. On April 2, Creed told Patrick that he was going to cash in his title match at Memorial Mayhem and he wanted to face Buchanan. Buchanan willingly signed on the dotted line and the match was made. At Memorial Mayhem, perhaps the two hottest stars in RPW, Buchanan and Creed, will finally collide. Will Creed keep his undefeated streak in tact and become the new RPW Heavyweight Champion, or will Buchanan once again prove that he is the top dog in RPW? Find out LIVE this Saturday night!
Steel Cage Match: Rob Adonis & Cru Jones vs. J-Rod & Dr. Johnny Gayton

There are so many interweaving issues with these four men, Commissioner Nick Patrick decided to put them all together in a cage. Dr. Johnny Gayton has transformed into a mad man ever since the ruse Rob Adonis pulled was revealed. Back in October 2009, Adonis faked being paralyzed after an accidental chair shot from Dr. Gayton. Concerned for his well being, Dr. Gayton paid Adonis an undisclosed sum of money for him to be able to take care of himself. Little did Dr. Gayton know that Adonis was in perfect health and using this money to hire mercenaries to ruin RPW from within. This batch of paid thugs has transformed into what we know today as the Apocalypse. However, Adonis' latest and greatest acquisition affected someone other than Dr. Gayton. Last summer, J-Rod entered into a blood feud with Cru Jones after Jones crossed the line by harassing J-Rod's son at ringside during a match. At September 2009's Vengeance in the Valley, Cru and J-Rod faced off in a street fight intended to settle the score. Instead, the match was declared a no-contest as J-Rod had to be sent to a Fort Valley emergency room after a failed superplex attempt ended with him violently crashing to the non-padded floor. At this point, it seemed Cru had a change of heart as he showed concern for J-Rod's situation. Unbelievably enough, Cru and J-Rod formed a very effective tag team. They were so good, they immediately captured the RPW Tag Team Championship from the Usual Suspects. On February 19, Cru & J-Rod were on the way to regaining their titles from the Suspects until Cru shockingly returned to his old ways, smashing J-Rod in the back with a chair. It was revealed that Cru was paid off by Adonis. Dr. Gayton's frustration and mission for payback have only intensified now that one of his best friends, Colt Derringer, has retired from professional wrestling due to knee problems stemming from repeated attacks by Adonis. At Memorial Mayhem, will all four of these men be able to achieve finality with their issues? Find out LIVE this Saturday night!
Steel Cage Match: A.J. Steele vs. Mr. Jones
 Another hot-button issue deemed worthy of a Cage Match is the budding feud between former associates in the Usual Suspects, A.J. Steele and Mr. Jones. Back on March 5, the Suspects were defending the RPW Tag Team Championship against the Rampage Wrecking Crew. As the referee's back was turned, Mr. Jones entered the ring attempting to spear Frankie Valentine. However, he accidentally flattened Steele with an earth-rattling spear. While the Suspects ended up keeping the titles thanks to the Exotic Ones, Steele was infuriated at Mr. Jones' mistake and pummeled him after the match, effectively eliminating him from the Apocalypse. On April 2 during the Countdown to Doom match, Steele and Jones focused their efforts mostly on each other once both men were in the match. Their violence didn't end there, as another incident took place on April 16. As the Suspects were defending the titles against J-Rod & Dr. Johnny Gayton, Mr. Jones brazenly entered the ring in front of the referee and smashed Steele with a chair. At Memorial Mayhem, Steele and Jones will have an opportunity to settle their issue inside a 15-foot high steel cage!
Taped Fist Match: Sal Rinauro vs. Jimmy Rave
 The issue between Sal Rinauro and Jimmy Rave goes as far back as last year. When Rave defeated Rinauro for the RPW Intercontinental Title, Rinauro had been obsessed with revenge. Stopping at every chance he could get, Rinauro attempted to pay back Rave, but failed every time. But Rinauro eventually did get his revenge. At a non-RPW event in North Carolina back in January, Rinauro weaseled his way into the ring with Rave. During this incident, a right hand from Rinauro successfully connected, shattering Rave's nose. After surgery to repair his face, Rave was advised by doctors to stay out of the ring indefinitely. This required Rave to forfeit the RPW Intercontinental Title to Commissioner Nick Patrick since he would not be able to defend it within the required 30 days. After a few months recovering, Rave returned to the RPW Arena backstage on April 2. Overhearing a plan by Rinauro and Jeremy Vain to attack Rave, Rave enlisted the help of Dr. Johnny Gayton to thwart their plans. During the bathroom scuffle, Rave ended up exacting revenge on Rinauro by connecting with a shot to the face, bloodying the Cruiserweight Champion. While Rinauro's suspect nose stayed in tact, he stormed Patrick's office in a rage, demanding that Rave be suspended. Not only did Patrick refuse to do so, he informed Rinauro that Rave would be medically cleared by Memorial Mayhem, so Rinauro was going to face Rave in a Taped Fist Match. With the comfort of taped fists, will Rave be able to finally get proper revenge on Rinauro? Or will Rinauro take advantage of Rave's possible ring rust from being out for over three months? Find out LIVE this Saturday night!
Hardcore Rules Texas Death Match: Murder One vs. Pitbull

Back on January 15, the Usual Suspects defeated Slaughter Pit to reclaim the RPW Tag Team Championship. However, the Suspects took a lot more away from Slaughter Pit than the tag team gold. During the match, Murder One grabbed Pitbull's prized possession: his Rubik's cube. He then proceeded to throw it against the wall of the RPW Arena, shattering it into millions of pieces. Pitbull was distraught, leaving his partner to be easy pickings for the Suspects to regain the titles. While several young members of the RPW audience eventually contributed a new Rubik's cube for Pitbull, he still remembers what Murder One did to his original one and has continued to vow retribution. At Memorial Mayhem, Pitbull finally gets his chance, as he will face Murder One in a Hardcore Rules Texas Death Match. Will Pitbull successfully defend the honor of his fallen friend, or will the former two-time RPW Heavyweight Champion deny him? Find out LIVE this Saturday night!

Also, our weekly show is available ON DEMAND on the front page of our web site, www.rampageprowrestling.net, which offers both a low- and high-bandwidth stream! New shows go up every Saturday afternoon.

This WILL be one of RPW's biggest shows of the year! Once again, this show will NOT be televised! The ONLY way to see it is to join us LIVE! If you only come to one RPW show, make sure Memorial Mayhem is the one! Join us LIVE at the RPW Arena @ Johnny G's on Saturday night, April 24 at 7:30pm for one of the biggest nights in RPW history!

Also, a reminder that starting on Saturday, May 1, Rampage Pro Wrestling will be moving live events to every other Saturday night. RPW will no longer be running on Friday nights.

Also, starting with May 1, bell time will be moved up to 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.

Our schedule for May looks like this: May 1, May 15 & May 29
