We'd Like To Thank The 150+ Fans In Attendance On Saturday Night, We Appreciate The Growing Support Of THE Empire! Of Course We Will Be Back For What Already Promises To Be A Knockout Show On February 4th. Let's Get Right To The Issues!

Next Saturday night will be the Final Showdown between former X-Treme Generation partners Jason Hampton and Jerry "Friggin'" Anderson.

Yes the Final Showdown, as this is a Loser Leaves Town match. These 2 individuals were tag team partners for years, however their working relationship crumbled within a matter of 3 months. Here are the facts: Nearing the end of their X-Treme Generation tag team, Jason Hampton grew further incensed with Jerry Anderson as Jerry resorted to using a chain in matches repeatedly; Jerry would always resort to pulling the chain out and using it on opponents, even when not necessary. Hampton told Jerry before several matches, "Jerry! Focus!". Anderson seemed more concerned about screaming at The Empire Ring Announcer Buzz, insulting, ridiculing, and mocking the fans, and just "losing it" basically. Well last night was the "straw that broke the camel's back".

Jason wrestled a grueling match against Empire Heavyweight Champion Rufus Black, only to have Jerry Anderson make his way to ringside at the end, distract Hampton and cause Hampton to lose the match. The match had high stakes as Rufus Black said he would grant a title shot to Jason Hampton if Hampton could pin him. It was not to happen, as Anderson made sure of it. After the match was over, and Hampton was in no shape to be considering any future match, Jerry Anderson grabs the ringside microphone and challenged Jason Hampton to a "Loser Leaves Town" match for next Saturday night. As Jason was struggling for air, he accepted Jerry's challenge. I don't know about Jason's sense of judgement in accepting Jerry's challenge so quickly, but nevertheless he did, and next Saturday night, will be the Final Showdown between these former Empire Tag Team Champions. The fans are now solidly behind Hampton and we are inviting all to come out in force to get behind Jason to rid The Empire of Jerry Anderson once and for all.

In another development, as you can see the post from "The World's Greatest Athlete" Johnny Viper, yes Viper defeated Logan Alvey in a matter of seconds.

However, Mr. Viper left out a few details. At the beginning of the event last night, Logan Alvey came out to try to let the fans know why he seemingly no showed the January 21st scheduled matchup between he and Viper. It was only about 30 seconds into the interview and Logan challenged Viper for a match later last night, and out came Viper and his "Illuminate`" stablemates Brandon and Jason Collins. No word from Logan about exactly what happened, but Viper said he was "sorry about the 4 flat tires". Logan told Viper "No one said anything about flat tires!" (Also Known As: The "Illuminate`" was responsible for Alvey's absense January 21st).

When The Empire heard Viper stumbling for words back to Alvey, Jason Collins "Pearl Harbored" Logan Alvey and it became a 3 on 1 beatdown until "Wyld Stallyn" Corey Cox made the save-with a steel chair in hand. Well the match was set for later in the evening, but when Logan's music played, again he didn't come out as he normally does, but stumbled through the entrance curtain and collapsed. Ring announcer Buzz went to check on Logan, called for help, and Jason Hampton and Corey Cox came out, got Logan up, and tried to restrain him from getting in the ring. Alvey was in no condition to wrestle, as he had obviously suffered not 1, but 2 beatings prior to the match. Logan never backs down, entered the ring to his demise, and was short work for Johnny Viper. That's How Johnny Viper won last night folks. The Empire fans despised Viper before last night, but it's safe to say, they LOATHE him now! Viper you have not heard the last of Logan Alvey, Mark That Down!

On February 4th it will be cold outside, but we'll have the heat on in the Empire Arena, and of course the action in the ring will be way hotter than the warm temperature in the area's most spacious Professional Wrestling Arena.

And for our EMPIRE Fans: All Tickets Are $5.00....See You At The Empire-Where The Titans Collide!

Opening the show was "Lion Heart" Ray Fury talking about his Action Zone Title victory last week over Da Bill. Out comes Da Bill to state that he was invoking his rematch clause for the title tonight and if Da Bil didn't win he wouldn't show his face at TWA Action Zone again. Another great match between these two and in the end Ray Fury successfully defends the Action Zone Title.

The next match of the night saw "Star Quality" Josh Vaughn defend the Southern Title against "The Upgrade" Mikey Watkins. Mikey carried most of the offense against Josh working over his knee and just as it seems that Mikey had everything in control Josh got a quick pinfall to retain the Southern Title.

Third saw "The Future" Wil Force took on the rookie sensation Wandy da Wrestler in a singles match. This was another great match betweenup and coming stars that saw Wil Force gain a victory by pinfall. After the match HCP 2.0 beat down Wandy till Honor&Respect made the save and set up a 6-man tag match for later in the night.

Fourth Match saw Andrew "Wild" West taking on the young luchidor Ricochet, after a failed attemp to interfere Ricochet pinned Andrew West with the sunset flip. After the match Kevin Green fired Andrew West kicking him out of the Greenhouse.

Next match was a Tag Match between the Greenhouse and Tiffany and Josh Vaughn. After an action packed match Spades pinned Tiffany with the black hole slam for the win.

Main Event was the 6-man Tag set up earlier in the night Hcp 2.0 took on Honor&Respect and Wandy da Wrestler. This was a great main event with a lot of hard hitting action and the final moments of the match saw a total lose of control and a double pin with one member of each team pinning a member of the other team. So the ref declared it a no contest leaving both teams to argue about who won the match. After the match HCP 2.0 starts a near riot with fans as Action Zone ends with Honor&Respect and Wandy da Wrestler standing tall n the ring.

Next Week:
"Lion Heart" Ray Fury vs. "The Future" Wil Force in a non-title match
"Star Quality" Josh Vaughn vs. Toy Dodson in a Southern Title Match
and a very important announcement from the TWA Offices about an upcoming event.

More matches to be announced through the week.

Over 100 rowdy fans packed into the ProSouth Arena for another exciting night of wrestling action for Bama's Best!

Match #1: Brian Alexander "The Great" defeated Frankie "So Fine" Valentine in the first of three Pick Your Poison match-ups!
~ Brian Alexander went on the attack early against Tyler Gage's selection, Frankie Valentine! Valentine wanted to prove himself against the former ProSouth Heavyweight Champion but was ultimately bested by Alexander The Great! Alexander looks primed and ready for his Casket Match with Tyler Gage at Valentine's Day Massacre!

Match #2: Dakota Outlaw w/Gene Jackson defeated "Stinger" Shawn Seagle!
~ Seagle, knowing he was overpowered, went on the offense quickly, hitting Outlaw with as many strikes as he could! Seagle managed to wear the big man down with his speed but a mistimed springboard allowed Outlaw to plant him with the Black Hole Slam and continue his undefeated streak! Can anybody stop Dakota Outlaw?

Match #3: "The Last Hero" Ace Haven defeated Kyle Matthews by Disqualification in the second of three Pick Your Poison match-ups!
~ Prior to his match, Matthews grabbed the house mic and explained that Posey wasn't here. Matthews also told the crowd that he could beat Posey in an arm wrestling match, a dance-off, with one arm tied behind his back or even a leg tied behind his back! Posey had selected Ace Haven via fax for this match. The two competitors swapped holds, with Matthews getting the better of Ace, until Ace caught Matthews with a headscissors sending him to the floor! Daniel Alexander & Big Tomb attacked Ace for the DQ!

Commissioner Terry Batey came out and decided that since Daniel & Tomb wanted to be involved so bad, that he was making an impromptu tag match RIGHT NOW!

Match #4: Kyle Matthews & Ace Haven defeated "The Prodigy" Daniel Alexander & Big Tomb in a nontitle match!
~ Matthews and Ace worked surprisingly well considering they just wrestled each other, easily outmatching Daniel Alexander! Ace went up for his Rebound Corskscrew Senton but Daniel had it scouted and moved out of the way! Ace eventually made the tag to Matthews, who came in and cleaned house! As Kyle & Tomb brawled on the outside attracting the attention of referee Jeremy Black, Shawn Seagle hit the ring and hit a combo move with Ace onto Daniel Alexander, allowing Kyle & Ace to pick up the win!

Commissioner Terry Batey announced that the ProSouth Tag Team Championship match at Valentine's Day Massacre would be a Falls Count Anywhere match! Gene Jackson interrupted, saying it was time for Terry Batey to reveal his pick for the match with Dakota Outlaw! Terry Batey revealed that he had selected...The Southern Stud Waylon Rhodes!

Match #5: "Future Classic" Tyler Gage defeated Bobby "Butcher" Hayes in the last of three Pick Your Poison match-ups!
~ You could see that the champ's head isn't completely in the game as Hayes took it to Gage early. As Gage started to turn things around, referee Earl Davidson got squashed in the corner and Hayes took back over with a dirty low blow! Gage picked up the win with a small package and was promptly attacked by the #1 contender Brian Alexander! The attack backfired and just as Gage was about to put Alexander down with the Spinebuster for the second week in a row, the lights went down, back on and Brandon Collum was in the ring! Collum decimated Gage with a nasty DDT! The lights went down again and when they came back on, Collum was gone and Alexander tore the turnbuckle of the middle rope off and assaulted Gage with it! Can the champion get it together in time for Valentine's Day Massacre?

NEXT WEEK:
~ Mike Posey returns and will confront Kyle Matthews!

~ Frankie Valentine vs Daniel Alexander!

~ Ace Haven & Shawn Seagle in tag team action!

~ Gene Jackson wants a match?!?

Empire Wrestling Entertainment update from Rossville, GA

Empire Wrestling Entertainment update from Rossville, GA

- from EWE

As previously mentioned, the Empire Wrestling January 21st event was full of
excitement, both in and out of the ring. "The Devil's Rejects" felt the heat from
the fans last weekend. This weekend they will have to face "The Wyld Stallyons",
Chris Ganz and Corey Cox, in a rematch from January 14th. Ganz & Cox will be looking
to topple the Empire Tag Team Champions, "Strong Style Psycho" Tank and "The
Southeastern Strangler" Andrew Alexander. The newly formed "Wyld Stallyons" are
definitely trying to make a name for themselves, but going after the Reverends
"Devil's Rejects" this soon into their tag team formation shows they don't back down
from anyone.

In what was a puzzling situation last weekend, Logan Alvey no showed his match with
Johnny Viper. Alvey's music played, then played again, but no Logan. Fans were
stunned as Logan has always shown up to wrestle, win or lose. And as all The Empire
knows, the last couple of months, this Chattanooga, TN based rookie has steadily
improved, getting his 1st win on January 14th against Johnny Viper. Well, Viper
challenged Alvey to a rematch last weekend, and as I mentioned Logan didn't appear.
I feel something is just not right with this situation, and we all want to know why
Logan did not show.

Jerry Anderson will go to any length to be a thorn in the side of his former X-Treme
Generation partner Jason Hampton. Anderson has asked for another favor from Empire
Commissioner The Reverend, and it has been granted. Anderson has arranged for Jason
Hampton to face Empire Heavyweight Champion "Devil's Reject" Rufus Black in a non title match.
But Jerry Anderson will have to scratch the Reverend's back and face one of many thorns in the
"Devil's Rejects" side, Drew Delight.

Former Empire Heavyweight Champion Drew Delight squares off against Jerry
"Friggin" Anderson. Drew has looked exceptional as of late in the ring. Will he be
able to keep his momemtum alive against Anderson? We'll find out Saturday.

And speaking of thorns in the side of "The Devil's Rejects", "The Superpowers" Ben
Thrasher and Rush will meet Cyrus and The Light in a colossal tag team battle.
Thrasher and Rush have been hot on the heels of "The Devil's Rejects" (Tank &
Alexander) as well as facing all tag team competition in The Empire. This weekend
they once again team to face the newly formed tandem of Cyrus & The Light. This one
will have the entire Empire on the edge of their seats.

The action starts at 8:00 PM this Saturday, January 28th. Join us for the unquestionable leader
in the Georgia Professional Wrestling scene, showcasing the area's finest talent, only at Empire
Wrestling 22 Austin Ave. Rossville, GA.

Southern Title Match
“Star Quality” Josh Vaughn retained the Southern Title after he pinned Toy Dodson. Toy was first awarded the match then as the Ref raised his hand a chain he used fell out. The ref re started the match and after a few moments of action Josh Vaughn hit the Star Qualified for the win.

Going for the Gold Gauntlet Match
Wandy da Wrestler started the gauntlet with “The Future” Wil Force after a hard hitting match Wandy picked up the victory. Out next was the masked cruiser weight Ricochet, Wandy finished him off with a belly to belly suplex. Third out was the big and powerful new comer Spades, after the first two hard fought battles Spades hard hitting style proved too much for Wandy to overcome and Spades finished him off with a black hole slam. Out last was the little ball of energy Tiffany and some quick offense Spades put her away with the black hole slam to win a future title shot.

Semi Finals for the Action Zone Tag Title Tournament
Honor&Respect and The Mixed Ones put on a classic tag team showcase as both teams showed how come the tag division at TWA is one of the strongest in the area. The end came as all 4 men ended up in the ring fighting and The Mixed Ones go to shot Honor&Respect into each other and are reversed instead and Honor&Respect double school boyed them for the victory and a spot in the finals of the tournament.

Tag Team Match
The Playmakers continue their climb back to tag team greatness as they defeated the young team of Wandy da Wrestler and Jam Styles. The match had a lot of action and the fluid motion of the Playmakers showed why they are always a force to be reckoned with in tag team action.

Semi Finals for the Action Zone Tag Title Tournament
HCP 2.0 came to the ring first and were informed that their opponents for the evening BCX could not compete due to illness and that they were receiving a bye into the finals. Honor&Respect’s music hits and out comes “The One” Joey Idol and “Simply Amazing” Alex Summers, they challenge HCP 2.0 for the finals right now, Board of Director member Gene Johnson comes out and makes the match for right now.

Finals for the Action Zone Tag Titles
HCP 2.0 and Honor&Respect wrestled a very physical match but Honor&Respect were still feeling the effects of the earlier match with the Mixed Ones combined with the outside interference of “The Future” Wil Force lead to HCP 2.0 getting the win and becoming the new Action Zone Tag Team Champions.

Action Zone Title Match Baton on a Pole/No Holds Barred Match
This very violent matchup between Da Bill and “Lion Heart” Ray Fury has been building for the past two months and this match was everything we thought it would be. But after some very close calls in the match Ray Fury was able to counter the DVD into an arm bar and with the help of the baton make Da Bill tap out for the victory. After the match wrestlers came out of the back to celebrate the victory with Ray Fury in the ring.
Revenge was an action filled show with a lot of surprise and twist that has set the tone for 2012 at the all new TWA Action Zone!

The turnout is impressive for the event, attendance in the mid to high 90s when 3pm rolls around and more walking in afterwards. Officer Chris Jacobs is out interacting with the fans leading up to the show, conversing and signing autographs.

Rob Adonis (w/ Charlie Cash) vs Jacob Ashworth

Referee: Stan Robinson

Adonis starts off showing his superior size over Ashworth. Not too long into the match Adonis seems to have it won, but continously picks Ashworth up out of pins as to not finish him off too soon, much to the enjoyment of Manager Charlie Cash. When Ashworth finally gains a little momentum, he’s quickly laid out with a devastating Spinbuster and Adonis picks up the win.

Rob Adonis wins via pinfall

CB Gibson comes out to help Ashworth after the match but is also laid out by Adonis. Adonis and Cash celebrate briefly and leave.

Cru Jones vs Anthony Henry

Referee: Dustin Robinson

Cru starts the match using his strength to gain the advantage, and promptly showing off his physique afterwards. Henry tries to keep Cru grounded with holds to keep an advantage. The action spills to the outside with Henry trying to vault over the top rope with a crossbody, but Cru catches him and throws him against the apron. Cru gets a humorous reaction from the crowd after saying Henry was trying to make him look back on TV. A lot of back and forth happens and it looks like it could be anybody’s game, but Cru pulls the win with a Pumphandle Fallaway Slam.

Cru Jones wins via pinfall

Officer Chris Jacobs vs The Ninja

Referee: Stan Robinson

The match starts with a lot of back and forth showcasing some nice athleticism. The fans are behind Jacobs constantly beckoning him to take Ninja’s mask off. Jacobs picks up the win with a running knee.

Officer Chris Jacobs win via pinfall

6-Man Tag Team Match with Rampage Rules

Corey Hollis & Patrick Bentley & “Do Or Die” Chip Day vs Anthony Henry & CB Gibson & Jacob Ashworth

Referee: Dustin Robinson

Ashworth shows an advantage over the Approved members early on with his size. The patch picks up in pace dramatically after Anthony Henry is tagged in. Approved take control of the match and show how well accustomed they are to 6-Man tag matches as well as clever use of the Rampage Rules, with CB being isolated from his corner. Ashworth hot tags in (with Gibson rolling out) and starts taking control. It quickly turns into everyone storming into the ring. Approved shows the superior teaming ability by isolating each member of the opposing team and finishing off with Jacob Ashworth, using their triple top rope finish.

Corey Hollis & Patrick Bentley & “Do or Die” Chip Day

It’s noteworthy that Sal Rinauro comes out and joins Bill Behrens on commentary between matches.

BFF (“Marvelous” Michael Stevens & “Adorable” Anthony Andrews) vs The Washington Bullets (Jon Williams & Trey Williams)

Referee: Stan Robinson

The fans quickly show support for the Washington Bullets, and only get louder after some humorous double teaming tactics. The match steers from comedy to pure athleticism and the Washington Bullets do not disappoint their unfamiliar crowd. The tide turns when Marv helps Andrews isolate Jon in the ring. Trey hot tags in and takes on both Marv and Andrews. The Bullets take the match by first taking out Andrews with a Wheelburrow and Leg Lariot combination then taking Marv out with a Wheelburrow Legscissors and Shining Wizard.

Washington Bullets win via pinfall

Shaun Banks vs J-Rod

Referee: Dustin Robinson

The match starts with a fair amount of back and forth with comic relief from Banks. The fans are behind J-Rod as he gains the advantage of the match. Banks ends up using a series of illegal chokes holds using the ropes, ring apron, and even his scarf to a point that Referee Dustin Robinson seemed to be getting impatient and actually snatched the scarf and threw it from the ring. Cru Jones comes to the ring to show some moral support for Banks, but quickly becomes a distraction for J-Rod. J-Rod manages to pin Banks after a knee just to be attacked by Cru after the match.

J-Rod wins via pinfall

The Washington Bullets rush at the ring to make the save. Cru and Banks end up leaving, Banks hiding behind the Rampage Pro Wrestling banner on the way out. The Washington Bullets stay to celebrate with J-Rod.

NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling Television Title Match

Patrick Bentley vs Frankie Valentine (C)

Referee: Stan Robinson

The match starts off with some good athleticism from both competitors, ultimately culminating into an advantage for Valentine. Valentine holds the advantage with a series of submissions working down the left arm of Bentley. Bentley gains advantage and starts working down Valentine with submissions and takedowns, stopping numerous potential comebacks in their tracks. The match ends with Approved rushing out and attacking Valentine. The Washington Bullets come out to make the save and Referee Dustin Robinson informed Miss Allie that they will have a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

6-Man Tag

Washington Bullets & Frankie Valentine vs Jimmy Rave Approved

Referee: Dustin Robinson

Bullets and Valentine start with the advantage with them isolating Chip Day in the ring. The Bullets show some impressive tag team tactics early on, showcasing again why they’re Georgia’s number 1 tag team. After Valentine is tagged in, Approved briefly gains advantage, which ends with Valentine getting Trey back in the ring. It’s slightly ironic that Approved gains advantage yet again once Valentine becomes the legal man, but this time they successfully isolate him away from his corner. The fans continuously show support for Frankie and just as he seems to start gaining momentum, he’s quickly shut down by Approved. Valentine fights out and hot tags in Jon. The match quickly turns into an all-out brawl between Approved, Valentine, and the Bullets. In the end, the Bullets and Valentine pick up the win with the Wheelburrow Legscissors and Shining Wizard combo on Chip Day.

The Washington Bullets & Frankie Valentine win via pinfall

After the match, Hot Like Lava comes out to cut a promo against the Washington Bullets and goes on to say that the Bullets aren’t on their level with a series of insults. They are interrupted by Doc Gayton who goes on to say that the Bullets can take on Hot Like Lava and goes on to say that they will be having a tag team match against each other on February 12th.

“Marvelous” Michael Stevens (w/ Anthony Andrews) vs Drew Adler

Referee: Stan Robinson

The match starts with Adler getting his hands on Marv’s boas and Andrews’s headband. When they go on to demonstrate how to properly show off their attire, Adler capitalizes on knocking Andrews to the giard rail and quickly starting the match with the advantage over the marvelous one. Andrews doesn’t hesitate to attacking Adler behind a distracted ref when able. Right as Adler is about to pick up a victory, Andrews attacks him to warrant a disqualification.

Drew Adler wins via disqualification

Almost immediately after the match ends Sal Rinauro rushes in and the 4 start a tag team match by the demand of the crowd.

Sal Rinauro & Drew Adler vs BFF (“Marvelous” Michael Stevens & “Adorable” Anthony Andrews)

Referee: Stan Robinson

The match starts aggressive with Sal and Adler holding the early advantage. Sal has a comical and somewhat insulting (for the opponents) offense that does well to entertain the crowd. BFF eventually takes over and isolates Sal from Adler. Adler blind tags in to take advantage for his team. As everything starts to become less chaotic, Referee Stan Robinson gets on to Sal to get out of the ring since he’s the illegal man and Andrews, using the distracted ref, hits Adler with a bucket. Sal pushes the ref aside to come to Adler’s aid and the referee disqualifies him.

BFF wins via disqualification.

My laptop battery got too low to record the results of the last match. Please refer to the review by Larry Goodman of Georgia Wrestling History for a more detailed report of the match. The match saw Kyle Matthews and the Usual Suspects (Murder One & AJ Steele) defeat Rob Adonis, Jeremy Vain, and Mikael Judas (who turned on them) who were accompanied by Manager Charlie Cash.

- Chattanooga media fixture, and long time News Channel 9 weatherman Bill Race presented the award to Pat Rose.

- ESPN Radio Chattanooga host Nick Bonstanto presented the award to Ricky Morton.

Tune in to "This and That" with Don Welch on Monday 1/23/12, ABC affiliate WTCV News Channel 9 at 12:30 PM for a special look at the ceremony. We will also post the highlights later this week. It was clear that the recognition meant a great deal to each of the legends. Both Rose and Grable were nearly moved to tears stating what the Hall Of Fame distinction meant to them with Rose exclaiming "THIS is MY WWE Hall of Fame!" and Grable stating that "no one knew exactly how much this meant to her". Ricky Morton told all the fans that without them, he wouldn't wouldn't have existed.

As Morton was wrapping up his acceptance speech The Juggernauts crashed the party. Juggernaut #2 stated that yes, the rumors were true...there were two Juggernauts and this was the perfect time for them to debut. It was great that the legends were being honored, but they were the past and The Juggernauts were the future. He said it was time they made their name at Ricky Morton's expense. The two mammoth Juggernauts circled Morton when Jessco Blue came out to make things fair. Morton said he didn't come here for a fight but he was always ready for one and he just so happened to know a thing or two about tag team wrestling , so he proposed that the Juggernauts put their money where their mouths were and face he and Blue in a tag bout. Management saw fit to honor the legend's request on his night and sent a ref to make it official.

Ricky Morton & Jessco Blue defeated The Juggernauts via DQ reverse decision. Juggernaut #1 actually pinned Morton in the match with the aid of the loaded mask. Hall Of Famers Pat Rose and Joyce Grable quickly let the referee know what happened, and official James Rhodes found the foreign object. The Juggernauts attempt at a post match sneak attack was thwarted with Rose and Grable both clocking a masked man, and Morton and Blue topped it off by clearing the ring with the old R'N'R staple, the double dropkick.

Andrew Alexander defeated Jessco Blue ,Kyle Matthews and Bryan Casanova in the 4 Way Match for a shot at ANY title at ANY time after hitting the piledriver on Blue. This was a hard fought contest, but the beating Blue took at the hands of the Juggernauts may have cost him. Matthews appeared to be the favorite in the match, and almost secured victory but Alexander's calculating coniving let Matthews score a victory blow, and tossed him out of the ring and drove the nail home himself. This bout settled one thing...Andrew Alexander will now get a shot at any title of his choice at any time he likes. But the issues, both between Casanova and Blue and Matthews and Alexander are far from solved.

Shaun Tempoers defeated Patrick Bentley in a near 30 minute 2/3 falls contest to settle their rivalry once and for all. This was a true classic style championship bout. They battled back and forth for almost 20 minutes before the first fall was scored, which Tempers did after dropping Bentley ribs first on the steel turnbuckle. There was a 30 second rest period between falls, and Bentley was still unable to rise, so the ref began the count. Tempers continued to pound the obviously injured Bentley, but out of nowhere Bentley was able to level the playing field by hitting the 360 Piledriver and scoring the 2nd fall. This time, both men struggled to reach their feet after the rest period and it was anybodys match. In a true display of how well they'd scouted each other from previous matches, Tempers went for the tiger driver, Bentley blocked it went for the hurricanrana, Tempers countered with the tiger driver for a near fall. Bentley countered the hangman's neckbreaker with a backslide for a 2.9 of his own, and then hit the Spring action kick for a 2.9999. Bentley went to finish it off with the 360 piledriver, but Tempers was able to shoot a last second double leg and cradle for the completely unexpected 3 count.

Tank defeated Se7en via pinfall in a bloody, hard hitting and brutal dog collar match to retain the NWA Southeastern title. This was two of the biggest and baddest men in the NWA laying it all on the line in a blood bath. It started at an even keel, and Tank took over showing his experience advantage in this type of match. Se7en's incredible pain tolerance allowed him to withstand this onslaught though and a clever move of removing his collar and tieing it to the top rope allowed Se7en to come within inches of dethroning the champion, but once Tank was able to break free and create a bionic lariat by wrapping the chain around his arm, and Se7en was unable to kick out after that almost super human blow.

It was announced that the return date for Soddy Daisy Middle School is 2/17/12 will feature a Triple Threat match with all titles on the line featuring NWA Southeastern Champion: Tank, NWA North American Champion: Shaun Tempers, and former NWA Southern Champion: Ace Rockwell. These are three men who's careers and destinies have been intertwined for a decade, but never have the stakes been so high. All close friends at one point, all bitter enemies at another point, all have carved their own paths, and on 2/17/12 only one can emerge victorious.

‎241 exuberant fans overflowed the Gilmer Couny Civic Center in Ellijay, Ga on 1/21/12 for NWA/DSCW.

The first match of the evening was Blue Ridge's one and only Ray Ray taking on the Crash Test Dummy in a lightweight division match this was a good match which could have possibly been the best match of the evening. At the 9:08 mark CTD hit Ray Ray with the Total impact which is a version of the Razors Edge for the victory.

The second match of the evening was a Three Way Dance between Shawn Bell, The Bad Boy Tork and Ellijay's very own Dave Diamond. This was a great match for a Three Way Dance. Dave Diamond gets the win at the 12:15 mark when Diamond hits both opponents with Spine Busters.

The following match Was The All-Star tagging with the Black Menace against fan favorite The Scorpion tagging with legend Rock & Roll Express's Ricky Morton ascorted to the ring by Semper Fi Cody Roberts. The fans were getting behing their favorite team by chanting "Rock and Roll" throughout the match. At the eleven minute mark, a melee broke out with all four men in the ring exchanging blows. The Scorpion and The All-Star squared off the middle of the ring while Ricky Morton and The Menace were in the corner dukeing it out. Scorpion and All Star collided heads, knocking each other unconscious. The Menace arranged the scene to make it look as though All-Star had The Scorpiohn pinned. Before the Ref could see the scene, Semper Fi redirected the ref’s attention, slipped in the ring and rearranged the unconscious pair so that it now looked as though Scorpion had The All-Star pinned. Ricky Morton & The Scorpion took the win and the crowd went wild.

The fourth match of the evening was a title match for the DSCW Heavy Weight Title between All -Business Brian Rivers, 2 year reigning champion, accompanied by manager Logan Chase III, against Chip Hazard in a bull-rope match. Fifteen minutes into the match, things started to get out of control. Logan Chase III jumped onto the ring apron and hit Chip Hazard on his back with a tennis racket. River’s capitalized on the opportunity for the win. Promoter, Big Wood, came into the ring and stated that he was tired of Logan interfering with the matches and gave Hazard an opportunity at another shot at the title. He would have to beat Rivers with-in 5 minutes to get that chance at a rematch. As the 5 minute challenge got under way, Rivers got the upper hand and was going to run Hazard into the tennis racket of Logan Chase. Hazard ducked at the last second and Logan knocked out his boy, Rivers. Hazard won the challenge and gets another shot at the Heavy Weight title at the up-coming Valentine’s Vengeance show in Blue Ridge, GA on February 4th.

The Main Event of the evening was also a title match with the win going to the first to 2 out of 3 falls for the Light-Heavy Weight DSCW title. The match was between the current champion, The Messiah Talon Williams against challenger Mr. Showtime. The house was rocking throughout the match with chants of “What Time is it? – SHOWTIME!”. Showtime won the first fall in 1 minute 12 seconds with a small package. The second fall went to the champion at 9 minutes 18 seconds to even the score at 1 – 1. The third and final fall went to the challenger, Mr. Showtime around the 7 minute mark when Talon tapped out to an ankle lock. The crowd jumped to their feet and blew the roof off the building with their cheers and congratulations.

We would like to thank Ricky Morton for working with NWA/Chattanooga and NWA/DSCW over the past two days.

Our next show will be on February 4th at Fannin County High School in Blue Ridge, GA. Join us for Valentine’s Vengeance! Bell-time 7pm

Gene Jackson came out to mock Mark Grason, who he, Outlaw, and Big Tomb
had sent home in an ambulance last week! Jackson also had two e-mails,
one from Terry Batey and the other from local NWA rep Brice Anderson.
Terry Batey had attempted to get the leader of the EPIC Alliance fires and
he succeeded! Much to the dismay of the Piedmont crowd, Brice Anderson
had considered “Epic” Grant Mitchell as the leader of the EPIC Alliance,
not Gene Jackson and terminated Grant’s contract.

“Future Classic” Tyler Gage and &”Awesome” Scott Spade came out and
demanded their tag match for tonight was for the ProSouth Tag Team Titles
and that it would start immediately!

Match #1: NWA ProSouth Tag Team Champions “the Prodigy” Daniel Alexander &
Big Tomb retained their titles against “Future Classic” Tyler Gage and
“Awesome” Scott Spade.

The match started with amazing team work from Gage and Spade, however, Big
Tomb and Daniel Alexander managed to isolate Spade and work on his leg
which was injured in last week’s action. Spade held on, found daylight
and made the tag to Gage. Gage came in and totally controlled the ring.
With time to recuperate, Spade tagged in and after a short series of moves
saw the opportunity to deliver the Copenhagen Kick to Daniel Alexander.
Spade gets a slow 3 count and we have new Tag Champs! As celebration
erupted, the referee, Toby, pulls Daniels foot over the bottom rope and
calls for the match to continue as there no pin.

Immediately Big Tomb knocks Gage off the ring apron into the barricade and
presses Spade overhead to setup the brutal clothesline from Daniel
Alexander to complete the Doomsday Device and pick up the pin.
Post match just got worse for Scott Spade as Tomb and Daniel sent Spade
into the barricade and Big Tombs caps it off with the Chocolate Avalanche.
Daniel adds the sidewinder and Scott Spade is left only to leave the ring
assisted by ProSouth referees.

Match #2: The undefeated Dakota Outlaw w/ Gene Jackson destroyed Eli
Daniels.

Newcomer Eli Daniels looked to make an inst-name for himself here at NWA
ProSouth by defeating Dakota Outlaw. Stiff kicks and a fiery heart gave
Eli Daniels an early advantage, but a missed Moonsault by the rookie
allowed veteran Dakota Outlaw to decimate Eli with the Black Hole Slam
immediately afterwards. Dakota’s undefeated streak remains un
interrupted!

Match #3: Frankie “So Fine” Valentine got the victory in an incredible
match with “Independent Standout" Jeremy Flynt.

Both men needed to pick up this win as this was Frankie’s 2nd match back
at NWA ProSouth and Jeremy’s 1st NWA ProSouth match in almost 2 years.
Each man brought their game to the ring and had the crowd on their feet!
After a series of moves and counters, Frankie planted Jeremy with his
finishing Codebreaker variation for the win!

ProSouth Antagonist, Gene Jackson returned to the ring brandishing his
ever guarded briefcase and demanded Terry Batey come out to answer his
challenge form the previous week. After several minutes of verbal
warfare, with the crowd screaming for Terry not to trust Gene, Terry and
Gene negotiated a match which if Dakota Outlaw wins, Dakota would earn the
next opportunity at the ProSouth Title. But If Dakota Outlaw loses, Gene
Jackson has to relinquish possession of the briefcase to Terry Batey.

After Gene Jackson agreed to the terms, he demanded which ProSouth
Wrestler would represent Terry Batey on Feb 3rd at the Valentine’s Day
Massacre. Playing to Gene’s over confident ego, Terry Batey states that
with Dakota’s undefeated streak, does it really matter? And told Gene he
would find out who Terry Batey would select next Friday.

Match #4, Main Event: Six Man Tag! Total Justice ( “Future Classic”
Tyler Gage, “The Last Hero” Ace Haven , & “Stinger” Shawn Seagle defeated
the EPIC Alliance (Dakota Outlaw, “the Prodigy” Daniel Alexander, & Big
Tomb).

Total Justice hit the ring with angry eyes over the unnecessary injury of
“Awesome” Scott Spade! As the six men brawled in the ring, the Alliance
decided to take a walk and pick another day to battle. However, each Alliance
member was staggered by Over the Top Dives from the members of Total Justice! As
Ace Haven & Tyler Gage rolled into the ring, they realized the referee for
their match was non other than traitor Toby Romine! Toby was immediately crushed
with a Russian Leg Sweep/ STO combination and a new ref was sent to the
ring.

Meantime, the Alliance was working on “Stinger”, but he managed to get
enough daylight to make the tag to bring in Ace Haven. Ace Haven
immediately goes to work on the legal Alliance member, Daniel Alexander
and has advantage as Big Tomb hits Ace from behind before Ace has time to
attempt the pin. As Ace Haven & Daniel Alexander get to their feet, Ace
hits his Corkscrew Senton on Daniel and gets the opportunity to tag in
Tyler Gage. Gage attacks Big Tomb with several vicious strikes but a
countering Crossbody left back first on the mat! Stinger comes in to break
up an impeding pin and chaos ensues! With all six men in the ring,
Total Justice pick up the win with a combo from Gage and Haven!

Before anyone has time to leave the ring, Brian Alexander, “Alexander the
Great”, attacked exhausted Tyler Gage and leveled him with a Powerbomb!
The arena went dark for about 5 seconds and when the lights came back on,
Brandon Collum was in the ring destroying everyone in his path before
Brian Alexander attempted to clothesline Brandon. As Brandon ducked the
clothesline, Tyler Gage spent his last energy hitting Brian Alexander with
his Spinebuster! For the first time in months, Total Justice was left
standing while the EPIC Alliance was on the ground!

NEXT WEEK:

- Brian Alexander & Tyler Gage select each other’s opponents for the Pick
Your Poison match-ups!
- Kyle Matthews & Mike Posey select each other’s opponents for the Pick
Your Poison match-ups!
-Terry Batey announces his mystery wrestler to face Dakota Outlaw at
Valentine’s Day Massacre 4!
-Terry Batey has a HUGE announcement regarding the NWA ProSouth Tag Team
Championship!
-And much, much more from Bama’s Best!! The World is Watching!

REMEMBER! Valentine’s Day Massacre 4 on Feb 10th!

Empire Wrestling Entertainment this Saturday, 01/21/12, in Rossville, GA

- from Empire Wrestling Entertainment

First of all, we'd like to thank the 150+ fans in attendance at the Empire Wrestling 1/14 Event and we thank you for your kind comments concerning the show.

Yes That Show Was Awesome And Just When You Think Something The Empire Has Done Can't Be Topped....Wait Until You Read The Lineup For January 21st!

Let's get right to news from the Empire and signings for this huge event this Saturday.

Cyrus will be returning to the ring to face "The Beautiful Sin" Brandon Collins from Brother Fusion. Just as Cyrus's tag team partner The Light dealt with last weekend, Cyrus will have to have a "3rd eye" to be on the lookout for Brandon Collins' cohorts, his Brother Fusion teammate Jason Collins and Johnny Viper, the 3 of them collectively known as The Illuminate.

Jerry Anderson has stated that he has a surprise for former X-Treme Generation partner Jason Hampton. These 2 have definitely parted ways, and as good as the 2 of them were together, being the 1st team to hold the Empire Tag Team Belts, they now are on a collision course working against one another. Just what will Jerry's surprise be?

In the Main Event thriller last Saturday night, the rising Empire Superstar from Chattanooga, TN, Logan Alvey achieved his 1st victory at the expense of Johnny Viper. Now "The World's Greatest Athlete" from Toronto Canada has demanded a rematch against Alvey. I know and the Empire fans know Logan will be up for the challenge.

This match was ordered per the Empire Commissioner The Reverend's request, "The Wyld Stallyns" Chris Ganz and Corey Cox will be facing "The
Superpowers" Ben Thrasher and Rush. Last week "The Wyld Stallyns" faced The Reverend's Empire Tag Team Champions "The Devil's Rejects". Seems as if the Reverend is trying to put the newly formed "Wyld Stallyns" through the trenches, as now he has ordered Ganz and Cox to face a very stiff challenge in Thrasher and Rush.

Drew Delight returns to the ring after a hardfought quest for the Empire Heavyweight Title, taking on "The Best" Lamar Phillips.

Empire Tag Team Championship Match- Champions "The Devil's Rejects" Tank and Andrew Alexander are putting the belts on the line against a
spectecular established tag team consisting of "Do Or Die" Chip Day and former Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookie Of The Year (just 2 years ago) Corey Hollis.

Empire Heavyweight Title Match- Champion Rufus Black, in order to prove his domination, will defend the Empire Title and has challenged the best wrestler in Georgia, "The Man Whose Motor Never Stops" Kyle Matthews. Yes Rufus Black has defended the Empire Title, and has managed to keep it for the spoils of "The Devil's Rejects". However, with each defense of his title, Black has relied on outside interference on behalf of his "Devil's Rejects" stablemates and of course, The Reverend. Facing Kyle Matthews will present a different situation for Rufus Black. Kyle's ring prowess and experience will be a matchup "The Devil's Rejects" will have to work overtime in preparing for. Will Kyle wear the Empire Heavyweight Title out of the arena this Saturday? I sure hope so and Matthews would make an honorable Empire Champion.

Remember Empire fans, tickets are $5.00 and we have a fully stocked, loaded concession stand with fair pricing.

As You Can See, What A Lineup We Have For This Saturday, January 21st! Empire Wrestling truly is the "creme de la creme" of the Georgia Professional Wrestling scene. Join us this Saturday, Bell Time is 8:00 PM.
