Welcome to the latest edition of "The West Georgia Wrestling Report". We attempt to bring you a weekly report of upcoming matches in the West Georgia area and those within in a short drive along with info pertaining to those matches or promotions and wrestlers in the area. Our idea of a short drive would be anything 2 hours or less from our home base in Hiram, Ga. Any longer of a drive and our children would fear for their lives.

Our focus is strictly independent wrestling in the West Georgia area, you will not see much info (if any) regarding WWE or TNA on the web site or in the blog. Contact us if you know of another promotion within our coverage area and would like to see them featured on our site.

The information that we will be sharing comes from a variety of sources. Web sites such Georgawrestlinghistory.com and georgiawrestling.tk are invaluable resources and we would like to thank them in advance for their contribution to independent professional wrestling. We spend a lot of time, obviously, surfing the internet in search of any and all info regarding our focus.

Check back often, the report will be updated until the next edition is posted to include any additions or changes. We will notate all changes in blue so you don't have to read the entire post to see what has changed.

FCW has a show this Friday, 08/21, in Hiram, GA. The address is 264 Oak Street, Hiram, GA 30141. Gates open at 6:30 and the first match starts at 8:00pm.

WGCW notes: The ring announcer was JBLementary. The referees were Stan Robinson & Jeremy Black. Attendance was approx. 170. The cage match was especially brutal with everyone involved bloody by the end of the match.
