The Will Grason Memorial, 07/24/10, in Douglasville, GA

I am planning a show to honor the memory of my son, Will Grason, on July 24th at our Church in Douglasville, GA. Will was the inspiration for westgawrestlingfans.com. My wife and I would like to invite everyone to join us in a celebration of his life through his passion, independent professional wrestling. Will loved every wrestler, referee, manager and promoter that he met, they were all his heroes.

The Will Grason Memorial will be held at one of Will's favorite places, Community Fellowship Ministries (612 Cohran Store Rd, Douglasville, GA 30134). The doors will open at 4:00pm with Christian Reggae Band, The Remedy, kicking things off at approx 4:45pm. Belltime is 5:30.

Tickets for the event are $8, kids 5 and under are FREE.

The following matches have been confirmed:

Stupid (w/Tweety) vs "The Local Scene" Josh Storm;

Will had a crush on Tweety and he was a huge Josh Storm fan!

Former AWA World Tag Team Champion "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers vs Al Horne;

Will loved Doug Somers, he saw right through the persona.

"The Hit for Hire" Bobby Moore vs "Dew or Die" Chip Day;

Will thought of Bobby and Chip as his buddies and always wanted to be Chip's manager.

Jimmy Rave vs Murder One;

Murder One was another "bad guy" that Will loved to watch;

Will's Favorites Clash: Pretty Boy Floyd vs "The Rocker" Terry Lawler;

They were both a lot more than buddies to Will, true friends to the end.

The card will also include the first annual Will Grason Memorial Battle Royal;

Also on the card- Air Paris, Kyle Matthews, Nigel Sherrod, The DOGs (Josh Stone & Bulldog Raines), Rob Adonis, Frankie Valentine, JT Talent, The Hate Junkies (Dany Only & Stryknyn), Awesome TC, The Curry Kid, "the Man" Scott Prater, Ace Haven, Billy the Kid, Playboy, The Patriot, Dark Gable, The Cowboy Way (Roscoe Ray & Jamie Holmes) and many more of Will's favorites.

There will be representation from every wrestling promotion in the West Georgia/East Alabama area. Will would be very proud.
