Show started with a promo from Vordell Walker. He was glad to be back and he talked about his bruised ribs he suffered last week at the hands of Stalker. He then talked about his match with PAIN tonight. Vordell said that they have been best of friends and have toured all of GA together. He then went onto to say he didnt want to face "The Monster" Pain, he wanted to face the man Mike Pain. Pain came out and both men greeted each other and said tonight was for the #1 Contendership for the AWN World Heavyweight Championship! Yes we are friends and we will tear the house down tonight! Vordell then grabbed the mic and called out the AWN World Heavyweight Champion! "TMA" Michael Hirsch along with Ms. Delta Rayne and 1/2 of the AWN Tag Team Champs Zac Edwards came out. "TMA" told Vordell the reason that he left him laying two weeks ago was because he didn’t appreciate a smart-ass hotshot coming in and taking his spot. "TMA" then went on saying that he is the face of the company whether anyone likes it or not....Vordell took the mic from "TMA" and told him to do him a favor and just stay out of the MAIN EVENT tonight. Pain then told "TMA" that he has had his spot and if he interfered he would take "TMA" spot away from him!
Match 1: #1 Contender for the AWN Southern Heritage Championship: Kross vs Leon McMichael
Winner: Kross
During this match Kross was opened up above his left eye with a forearm by Leon. After the match Kross’ injury was attended too by AWN’s medical personnel…
Match 2: If JL wins, he would receive a contract from AWN: JL Lightning vs Commissioner Don Anderson
Winner: JL Lightning
Match 3: Falls Count Anywere: Stalker w/Nathan vs Danny Horne
Winner: Stalker
Match 4: AWN Tag Team Championship: Beauty and the Beast (C) vs Irish Carbomb
Winner: Beauty and the Beast (Nathan come out and distracts ref as Ash had match with the shining wizard, Zac Edwards turns him around and lays him out with a flapjack (black object) for the victory)
Match 5: "The Real Deal" Jake Slater vs "The Golden Boy" Chick Donovan
Winner: Double Count out
Both men very aggressive, Chick grabs mic at the end and tells Jake that this is not over! He says that Slater is one of the toughest men he has been in the ring with. That he needs to learn respect. He also said that he wants Jake as bad as Jake wants him.... Jake then tells Chick that the next time they meet he will put him in a nursing home!
Match 6: AWN World Heavyweight Championship:
"The Main Attraction" Michael Hirsch w/Ms.Delta Rayne vs "The G.O.A.T" J-Smooth
Winner and still AWN World Heavyweight Champion: "TMA" Michael Hirsch
Match concluded with Stalker helping "TMA" seal the victory. Fans were very aggresive in this match and one of them grabbed Ms.Delta Rayne also throwing the AWN Championship Belt at her after "TMA" was awarded the win. This is one of the biggest rivaleries in AWN! This match showed it! This was your Match of the Night....

Winner: No Contest
Match ended with "TMA", Zac Edwards and Stalker (along w/Nathan) beating the two down. They took turns back and forth on Pain and Vordell until Commissioner Don, Danny Horne, and J-Smooth ran out with chairs clearing the ring of all three men..."TMA" grabs the mic furious! He tells Vordell if he wants his spot that he can come get it AUGUST 21ST at Redemption for the AWN World Heavyweight Championship! Vordell accepts and tells "TMA" that his ribs will be alot better in three weeks and that if he was him, he wouldnt show up! Pain then grabs the mic and tells "TMA" that he just had the Commissioner tell him that "TMA" may have Vordell the 21st of August, but it’s too bad that "TMA" won’t make it. He then said that next week for the AWN World Heavyweight Title it will be him against "TMA"!!!

After Kross defeated Leon McMichael last week to gain #1 Contendership to Ironwil's AWN Southern Heritage Title, he has one of the toughest contenders standing in his way as J-Smooth looks to gain some spots in the rankings and earn a shot at some gold of his own.
