Last week’s event began with The Commissioner announcing that the two teams, who advanced to the final, would not face each other on that night. Instead, Drew Delight announced the next Empire mega event CHASING THE GRAIL will occur on November 3rd and there the tag team champions will be crowned.
The tag team tournament broke down like this. B
rother Fusion beat Ben Thrasher & Jason Hampton. Lamar Phillips & KT Hammil beat Big Wood & Logan Alvey. The Wyld Stallyns beat The Lynch Mob. The Dream Team was victorious against The Movement to complete the first round. Between rounds Rush made his return to the Empire Arena. He laid down a challenge for the monster Cyrus at CHASING THE GRAIL. The second round saw The Wyld Stallyns beat Lamar Phillips & KT Hammil. The returning Brother Fusion was victorious over The Dream Team setting up the finals for November 3rd.
This Saturday October 27th, to prepare for the tag team tournament finals, both The Wyld Stallyns and Brother Fusion will be in action. In addition Rush, Chrisjen Hayme, Ben Thrasher, Jason Hampton, and both Empire champions Heavyweight Champion Andrew Alexander and JR Heavyweight Champion Johnny Viper will all be at the Empire Arena this Saturday. With CHASING THE GRAIL only two weeks away, and only two matches even mentioned so far, this looks to be a very eventful Saturday night in Rossville, GA.
