PCW Results from 12/20-
Christmas came early for the town of Porterdale on December 20th, 2014, courtesy of Platinum Championship Wrestling. The first gift under the tree was a preview of what fans might be able to expect in the 2015 Tag Team Season!
Match One: The Silent Kill Syndicate (Supernatural and Azrael) Vs. The Washington Bullets
All four men received warm reactions from the crowd. Supernatural and Jon Williams started the contest. Both men were slow and cautious in the early goings, this being the first meeting between these two explosive teams. Jon was able to outwrestle Supernatural momentarily and tagged in Trey. After a series of go-behinds and reversals, Trey took the advantage with a fierce waistlock takedown, hoisting the smaller man into the air and slamming him to the mat. Perhaps realizing it was time to switch gears, Supernatural tagged in the bigger man on his team, Azrael. Azrael was able to overpower Trey and punish him with a series of chops before bringing Supernatural back in.
Super brutalized Trey’s midsection with chops and kicks, and did a good job of keeping Trey grounded until he was able to dive and tag in brother Jon. Jon nailed Supernatural with clotheslines and a vertical suplex and made several quick tags with Trey. At one point Jon delivered a brutal backbreaker to Supernatural, tagged in Trey and watched his brother fly off the turnbuckle with a kneedrop to the stretched out Super, still painfully draped across Jon’s knee!
The match was all Bullets for the next few minutes, until Supernatural scored with a dropkick off the top turnbuckle, flooring both Williams brothers! From there, all semblance of order went out the window as all four men threw everything they had at one another. The match looked to be over when Trey powerbombed Supernatural into the knees of Jon, activating the devastating Marion Barry combo finisher that has helped make the Bullets 3 time tag team seaon winners, but Azrael broke up the pin at the last possible moment. In the ensuing chaos, Trey was able to roll up Azrael for the quick pin.
Winners: Washington Bullets via pinfall (Trey Williams pinned Azrael with a schoolboy)
After the match both teams acknowledged the ability of their opponents and shook hands in a well earned show of respect.
Match Two: Warhorse 12/24 Vs. Carpenter
Christmas music filled the air as a festive Warhorse appeared, stocking in tow, doling out candy canes to the PCW fans. The festivities were short lived, as an eerie tune filled the air and a newcomer dressed all in black and clutching a wooden bat appeared. He removed his coat and hat to reveal wrestling attire underneath, and promptly jumped the Warhorse from behind and hurled him into the ring to start the match. The yet-to-be-named assailant never acknowledged the fans, the confused announce team, or even the referee in the early goings. He seemed content in pounding, choking, and even biting the Warhorse, before showing he can wrestle by delivering a picture perfect swinging neckbreaker, followed by a snapmare driver to pick up the easy victory.
Winner: Carpenter via pinfall (Snapmare Driver)
After the match, he grabbed a microphone and introduced himself as Carpenter, and put the entire locker room on notice, telling them any of their names could be on his bat.
The Christmas spirit sadly did not return following this match, as Quasi Mandisco and Brian Kane made their way out. Matt Hankins introduced Quasi as “The Grinch”, and Johnny Danger sadly lamented “And his pants were three sizes too small…” which predictably set Quasi off, by responding that Danger’s career was about three times too short, thanks to him. Quasi promised an easy victory over Rachael in the main event Christmas Wrapped Casket Match, and promised that Shane Marx’s PCW title was in Brian Kane’s immediate future. He then turned his ire on the PCW fans, using comments we have chosen not to repeat in this report.
Match Three: Brian Blaze Vs. The Contras (BattleZone and Tempest)
Brian Blaze has been one to watch in the final weeks of 2014. After making his well-publicized return to both society and PCW, he went from receiving a much earned hero’s welcome, to perhaps being the only thing keeping tag team partner Geter from going completely nuts and smashing the entire PCW locker room and Main Event Arena into rubble! On this eve, he was met by the Contras. They attempted to cheer him up by regaling us with their own stories of incarceration and redemption, before realizing they were simply retelling the stories of the Shawshank Redemption and the Longest Yard. Blaze’s good nature quickly faded, and he pounded the Contras into defeat in a matter of moments.
Winner: Brian Blaze
Next up was a special treat for all the fans in Porterdale. Everyone has their holiday special this time of year, and PCW was no exception, as the sounds of Godzilla and Elvis filled the air, that could only mean one thing: “It’s Christmas Time, Johnny Danger!”
“Santa Danger” was introduced, with an ill-fitting second hand suit and a suspiciously familiar looking ponytail. Never the less, he informed us Johnny Danger couldn’t host the show tonight but he was authorized to fill in. He was happy to see all the well behaved boys and girls in the crowd, but was here to speak to one little boy in particular who hasn’t been very nice lately, one Devlin Valek. He threatened to bring Valek nothing for Christmas, unless he came to the ring, sat on Santa’s lap, and apologized for the things he’s been saying about his big brother, Johnny Danger.
Valek emerged, obviously in no mood for “Santa’s” games, snarling at the Jolly One in response. Santa told Valek that Johnny Danger loved him very much, and he shouldn’t be jealous of his brother for being handsome, charismatic, a great wrestler, a fantastic dancer, and smelling nice too. Valek was quickly tiring of Santa, and the last straw was when he was asked “Are you being such a butthole because I didn’t bring you that Malibu Barbie Dream Home you asked for when you were 8?” Valek snatched the mic away, and broke the hearts of Porterdale when he declared “I hate my brother, I hate Christmas, and I hate Santa Claus!”
That was enough to bring “Santa” to his feet in a rage, but thankfully Trey Williams ran to the ring to attempt to diffuse the situation. He scolded Valek for his attitude, and told him he understands not always getting along with your brother, but that he needed to put his differences with Johnny behind him. Trey tried to lift Santa’s spirits by asking him to assist him in giving Porterdale a Christmas surprise, but it was Trey who was surprised when Valek jumped him from behind!
Match Four: Devlin Valek Vs. Trey Williams (w/ Danger Claus. Err, Santa Danger. Err…Santa)
Trey, having already wrestled a hellacious tag team contest earlier in the night, was clearly not ready for a bout with “The Demon from Danger City”, and Valek pounded him inside and outside the ring. Valek wisely targeted Trey’s midsection, perhaps injured after the pummeling his ribs received from the Silent Kill Syndicate earlier in the evening. He repeatedly punished Trey with both seating and standing abdominal stretches. Santa had tried to remain impartial during the opening moments of the contest, but when Valek began grabbing the top rope for leverage to punish Trey further behind the referee’s back, Santa could stand no more, and fired up the crowd with a “HO HO HO!” chant for Trey Williams. Trey fought back to his feet and delivered a picture perfect leg lariat, but Valek surprised him with a fake out shadow clothesline followed by a diving seated lariat.
Looking squarely at Santa, Valek ascended the turnbuckles and attempted one of Johnny Danger’s signature moves, the Atomic Legdrop off the second turnbuckle. Trey rolled away at the last second, and hooked the dazed demon for a german suplex, but Valek was able to connect with a wild backwards kick between Trey’s legs that the referee failed to catch. Soaking in the arena’s disapproval, Valek went back to the abdominal stretch once more, and when he grabbed the top rope again, Santa had seen enough, pointing out the rulebreaking to the referee, who forcibly removed Valek’s grip from the rope! Trey was able to roll up the stunned Valek, and rolled all the way through, delivering a jaw-shattering Superkick that put out every light on Valek’s tree for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Trey Williams via pinfall (Superkick)
Postmatch, Santa removed his hat, coat, and beard, revealing himself to be Johnny Danger to no one’s surprise. Danger entered the ring, looking down on his defeated and unmoving brother, and made the decision to be the bigger man and help Valek to his feet. Valek appeared receptive, but shoved Danger across the ring and stormed off, leaving the “Rock N Roll Model” alone and heartbroken…at Christmastime no less!
Match Five: Velvet Jones Vs. Marko Polo
This was Marko Polo’s first match since Velvet Jones showed his true colors by brutally assaulting Marko Polo’s knee after a loss four weeks ago. Marko entered clad in a Santa hat, but no smile on his face, as he hit the ring all business and took it to Velvet with a series of punches. Marko pounded Velvet in the ring and on the floor, and Jones’ killer instinct suddenly vanished as he begged and pleaded with Marko to cease the assault. The distraction apparently worked as Jones struck quickly to take advantage, taking out Polo’s knee again, stomping it and stretching it in the ropes.
Polo showed no regard for his own safety, diving over the top rope to the floor at one point to take down Jones, but every time he attempted to mount a comeback, Velvet disabled his leg to maintain the advantage. Velvet hurled Marko from one end of the ring to the other, putting more strain on his leg by firing him off the ropes, before punishing him with bodyslams and suplexes.
Finally, Marko came alive and was able to block out the pain, delivering a pair of clotheslines and following up with a high flying lariat that sent the back of Jones’ head bouncing off the mat! Marko powered Velvet up onto his shoulder for a slam, but his knee buckled and sent him crashing to the mat. Quickly, Velvet tied Marko up in an inverted figure four and Marko had no choice but to tap out.
Winner: Velvet Jones via submission (Inverted Figure Four)
Postmatch it was speculated that Polo may have sustained or aggravated a knee injury as he rolled down his kneepad revealing swelling of the kneecap. He refused aid and was able to limp to the locker room under his own power.
MAIN EVENT: Quasi Mandisco Vs. Ms. Rachael in a Christmas Casket Match
The rules to this unorthodox contest stated that the only way to win this match would be to shut your opponent in the casket and then wrap it with wrapping paper, which the PCW fans supplied in abundance! Quasi claimed to want a fair fight and had no one at ringside with him, just as Shane Marx was not in Rachael’s corner. Quasi attempted to outwrestle Rachael early on and failed, leading him to quickly resort to his size and strength advantage, proving he was not above slugging a woman in the face.

Quasi attempted to outwrestle Rachael early on and failed, leading him to quickly resort to his size and strength advantage, proving he was not above slugging a woman in the face.
Still, Rachael was able to disable Quasi long enough to drag him to the floor, leading Mandisco’s long-time associate Nina Monet to emerge and savagely attack Rachael, drawing blood with a vicious shot to the face. Mandisco and Monet were able to get Rachael shut into the casket, but before they could wrap it, the man formerly known as “Sugar” Shane appeared and carried a tantruming Monet to the back!
This distraction gave Rachael time to recover as Quasi went to grab a gift bag, from which he produced tons of tiny, sharp Christmas ornaments which he deviously sprinkled all over the mat! Quasi attempted to plant Rachael into this yuletide deathtrap, but Rachael countered with a Russian legsweep, spiking Mandisco into the objects, leaving him writhing in agony!
Rachael slid to the floor to open the casket, when The Upgrade Brian Kane attacked from behind, striking her across the back of the head with a jumbo sized candy cane which absolutely exploded! Again, Quasi’s former charge Shane Bell appeared and brawled with Kane to the back. Rachael had not moved, however, the damage done, and Mandisco drug her to the casket and prepared to dump her inside, when Rachael struck with the last of her energy and DDT’ed Quasi into the casket! All of Porterdale rushed to her aid as the casket was wrapped shut!
Winner: Ms. Rachael
After tagging the wrapped casket “Do Not Open Till Christmas”, the jumbo sized present containing the Priority Male was carried away by the Washington Bullets, Johnny Danger and PCW security, and Rachael celebrated with her adoring fans to end 2014 with a bang!

2014 Rookies of the Year
2014 Rookies of the Year
The first year of a professional wrestler's career is usually pretty tumultuous. It takes a lot hard work, patience, willingness to learn and god given talent to make a real impact in your first year. In my opinion there was one real obvious choice for Rookie of Year along with two others that I feel made significant enough impact to deserve mention.
Moose Ojinakka is the 2014 georgiawrestlingfans.com Rookie of the Year
It would be tough to not call former NFL player Moose Ojinnaka the Georgia Rookie of the Year for 2014. How many professional wrestlers make it to the Ring of Honor in their first year? His impact is undeniable. I have had the opportunity to work with Moose several times and came away impressed each time. Moose is a naturally gifted athlete who has not even yet begun to truly blossom as a wrestler. In my opinion he has more potential upside than any professional wrestler from Georgia in a long time. With continued development of his in-ring skills the sky is the limit.
There were two other young wrestlers that I felt deserved mention.
Honorable Mention: Colt Callaway
Colt Callaway has had an incredible year. He has worked hard to learn and seems to be booked everywhere along side Drew Adler. I have had the opportunity to witness his growth firsthand throughout 2014 and was impressed by his willingness to listen.
Honorable Mention: Odinson
Odinson made an impact every time he walked through the curtain. His presence alone made fans stand up and pay attention. Odinson is more than a hulking brawler, he can wrestle. I also had the opportunity to work with Odinson and there are not many kids more humble. With more experience, Odinson could be another WWA4 trainee to move on to bigger and better things.

2014's Newcomer of the Year
I will be posting my own take on Georgia's end of the year awards for 2014 over the next several weeks. The first award will be given to the 2014's Newcomer of year. This award is similar to a traditional Rookie of the Year award but is intended for someone that is not a wrestler.
Kevin Pierce is the georgiawrestlingfans.com choice for Newcomer of the Year!
Kevin has made his mark on the independent professional wrestling scene in Georgia in several different arenas.
He was the GM for Alternative Pro Wrestling in Royston, GA and was involved in a memorable feud with Stryknyn that culminated in a cage match. He was an excellent referee for Flatline Pro Wrestling in Grovetown. He is the Manager of the Lethal Weapons (Sylar Cross and Adrian Armour) and has done an excellent job representing them. His work on the mic has been outstanding and some of the best in most of the promotions he has worked.
I first worked with Kevin at East Coast Wrestling Entertainment where he was our GM and the manager of ECWE's Corporate Monsters. It was the work he did before and after the events that really showed me he was serious about the business of professional wrestling. Kevin was always early and anxious to help with the set up. One week removed from the most chaotic night in history that saw Wrestling’s Deadliest Weapon, Geter, nearly destroy the entire PCW locker room (along with the Main Event arena itself!) came another explosive evening that proved nothing is ever certain in Platinum Championship Wrestling!
Quasi Mandisco “welcomed” the fans to the arena to start the show, and informed us all that the promised main event of Shane Marx vs Bobby Moore vs Brian Kane for the PCW title (set up by PCW owner Stephen Platinum last month) would NOT be occurring, rather, Moore would be redeeming his PCW title shot at a later date, giving Brian Kane the sole shot at Shane Marx on this night! Mandisco began overflowing with confidence, having apparently bought off “Hit for Hire” to take the night off, which lead to him bragging about his other recent accomplishments, attempting to goad Johnny Danger from his spot at the announce table into the ring, bragging that he’s ended Danger’s wrestling career, then mentioned the fact that he fired DeAndre Jackson for not living up to his expectations and, along with Brian Kane, destroyed another former protégé, Savage Shane, and promised we’d never see him again, either.
While Mandisco argued with the fans at ringside, a lone figure emerged from the crowd, slipped past security and entered the ring, his identity obscured behind a motorcycle helmet. When Mandisco turned around to see the new arrival clutching a metal tire iron, he backed off, and demanded the man reveal his identity. The mystery man obliged, removing his helmet to reveal the man Quasi himself dubbed “Savage” Shane! Shane chased Quasi from the ring, declaring that he was still here, and for the first time ever, Shane heard the cheers of the crowd. It will be interesting to see if the PCW locker room forgives him just as quickly for his past heinous deeds, but it appears he has been redeemed in the eyes of the people of Porterdale, if nothing else.
As Quasi threw a fit on the arena floor, ring announcer Matt Hankins gave him something else to tantrum about: He’d made a quick call to Stephen Platinum, who gave Hankins the authority to announce a gauntlet match to fill the spot left vacant by Bobby Moore in the main event along with Marx and Kane to decide the PCW champion! Mandisco was livid, proclaiming that HE ran PCW, not Hankins, not Danger, not Platinum or anyone else, but he didn’t protest for long as Savage Shane ran him out of the ringside area entirely!
Match One: The Jagged Edge Vs. Brian Blaze
Our opening contest was the first match in the gauntlet series with a guaranteed spot in the main event title match on the line. Both men started out slow, shaking hands to start the match and again a few moments into the match, each man impressed with the other’s technical prowess. After trading armdrags and headlock takeovers, the action spilled to the floor where the wrestling went out the window and the fight began. Both men are as dangerous on the outside as they are in the ring, a fact Brian Blaze kept in mind when the Jagged Edge attempted to piledrive him on the arena floor! Blaze blocked the move, and the Jagged Edge threw Blaze back into the ring and re-entered the ring as well, narrowly avoiding a countout.
Despite Blaze’s attempt at injuring Jagged’s arm to nullify his strength, The Jagged Edge stayed on the attack, trapping Blaze on the apron and clubbing him across his chest, then punishing him with a suplex. Jagged attempted to put Brian to sleep, but Blaze fired up and hit a series of clotheslines before scoring a near-fall with his patented Pumphandle Slam/Elbow drop combination. Shortly after, the Jagged Edge exploded and nearly decapitated Brian Blaze with a Lariat, which was enough to pick up the win and advance to the second match.
Winner: The Jagged Edge via pinfall (Lariat) in 10:25
Match Two: The Jagged Edge Vs. Supernatural
The Jagged Edge took a seat in the audience to catch his breath while Supernatural made his entrance to the ring, but once both men were in the ring, there was no time to rest. Supernatural struck fist, backing Jagged Edge into the corner with a series of kicks to the ribs, but the assault only seemed to enrage the Jagged One, as he hurled Supernatural across the ring in response. The story of the match was the Jagged Edge’s strength against Supernatural’s speed. Unfortunately for Supernatural, Jagged seemed one step ahead for most of the match, as his speed was not enough to avoid the bigger man’s clutches. At one point, Jagged pressed Supernatural over his head and seemed to consider tossing him into the crowd, before dropping him straight down to the mat.
Supernatural took to the air, attempting to latch on a flying guillotine, but Jagged caught him in a falling powerbomb. The end appeared to have came for Supernatural when Jagged hit his devastating Piledriver, but the Undead Luchadore shocked the fans in attendance, as well as the Jagged Edge, by kicking out. Supernatural was able to trap Jagged in his guillotine choke, but the determined Jagged Edge refused to give in to the hold. His arsenal nearly exhausted, Supernatural struck with perhaps the definition of a desperation move when he hit a double flying knee to the face from the top rope, known to PCW fans as “Day of the Dead”, the trademark maneuver of former champion Chip Day, the man who defeated Supernatural in a ladder match at Sacred Ground Chapter IV! This proved to be enough to put the Jagged Edge away, and Supernatural would advance to the next match.
Winner: Supernatural via pinfall (Day of the Dead) in 6:45
Match Three: Supernatural Vs. Geter
The arrival of the monster, Geter, brought Quasi Mandisco back out to scout the match, looking slightly less confident than he had earlier in the evening! Again, Supernatural took the fight right to his larger opponent, striking with kicks and forearms that did little more than anger the giant Geter. Supernatural was still looking to settle a score from the previous week, when Geter spiked him in the center of the ring with his devastating “Fall of Man” finishing maneuver during the show-ending brawl between Geter and the remainder of the locker room! Geter’s objective was the same as always: Destruction.
Perhaps knowing he wouldn’t be able to keep Geter down long enough for the DoubleStomp, Supernatural instead attempted the guillotine choke multiple times, but Geter was always able to power out of the hold. Geter smashed Supernatural in the corner with an avalanche and dropped a knee across the Undead Luchadore’s chest, crushing the air from his lungs. Geter scooped Supernatural up for the Fall of Man, but Supernatural was able to counter into a modified Dragon Sleeper to gain a temporary advantage. Supernatural went for a twisting crossbody off the turnbuckles but Geter caught him and crushed him with a fallaway slam. Supernatural kicked out, but when Geter again went for the Fall of Man and was able to connect, Supernatural was finally defeated.
Winner: Geter via pinfall (Fall of Man) at 7:10.
Match Four: CAMPUS Strike Force Vs. Trevor Aeon
CAMPUS made their first PCW appearance in many moons to inform the crowd they were on a mission to spread the importance of proper hygiene; keeping their ears clean so they can hear, keeping their teeth clean to eat, and taking care of their eyes to “let us see”. Unfortunately for CAMPUS, this sparked a “Let Us See” chant from the crowd which, as always, triggered the arrival of Trevor Aeon! Trevor dispatched CAMPUS in short order, busting out a Flatliner and a twisting reverse DDT, leaving only poor, scared, CAMPUS Green. Despite her attempts at bravery, facing Trevor alone was simply too much for her, and she fainted in the middle of the ring, giving Trevor the easy pinfall win.
Winner: Trevor Aeon via pinfall of CAMPUS Green (Fainting) in 1:29.
MAIN EVENT: Brian Kane (w/ Quasi Mandisco) Vs. Geter (w/ Brian Blaze) Vs. Shane Marx ( C ) (w/ Rachael) for the PCW Championship
Realizing the gravity of allowing Geter into the main event, Mandisco kept Kane on the floor in the early goings of the contest, allowing Geter to brutalize the champion Marx. Marx showed his typical fighting spirit, but Geter seemed to absorb the punishment like only he can. Marx was finally able to take the giant off his feet with a pair of enziguris, but unable to score a pinfall. This brought Brian Kane back into the ring, finally, and he climbed the turnbuckles and delivered a stunning moonsault to both men! Geter fell to the floor and stayed there for several minutes; Matt Hankins speculated that he may have dislocated his shoulder as Brian Blaze was observed attempting to work on Geter’s arm on the floor.
Kane focused in on Shane Marx in the ring, hammering the champion at every opportunity. Diverting the referee’s attention to a concerned Rachael allowed Kane’s manager, Mandisco, to viciously choke Marx in the corner. Geter finally made it back into the ring and hurled Marx to the floor. Each time the champion would attempt to return to the ring, Geter would boot him right off the apron. Kane zeroed in on the hurt arm of Geter, wrenching it between the ropes and pummeling on the damaged limb, but Geter proved just as deadly one-armed as he is with two.
Marx finally made his way back into the ring and rocked Kane with a spinebuster, hooking him for Natural Selection but unable to execute the move with Geter looming. Geter dispatched Marx once more and a new champion was imminent when Brian Kane experienced the Fall of Man, but Marx reappeared from out of nowhere, catching Geter with a shining wizard then pouncing on the destroyed Kane for the win!
Winner: Shane Marx via pinfall of Brian Kane (Fall of Man by Geter) in 16:11
All Hell broke loose after the bell rang, as Geter cornered Rachael and threatened to destroy her for what he perceived as him being screwed over the past few weeks. Time after time, Marx attempted to get to his feet and save his best friend, only for Geter to stomp him back down into the mat. Geter demanded a one on one title shot in exchange for sparing Rachael. Marx agreed, but informed the giant it would be on his terms, in HIS match: the Iron Man Match!
Equally outraged was Quasi Mandisco, who, once Geter was safely out of the ringside area, demanded a special….Quanza Mandiscmas showdown with Rachael at the next show! Rachael agreed and encouraged the fans to bring the wrapping paper, as she promised to wrap Quasi up and dump him into a casket, in a matchup that will prove to be like nothing PCW has ever seen before.
