Gang warfare was on the menu for Bull Buchanan's RPW Heavyweight title defense against the number one contender, Cru Jones, on January 15. Jones looked like he had his first RPW Heavyweight title in the bag when he hit Buchanan with his patented Cru Cut. But as he made the cover, Sal Rinauro and the new RPW Tag Team Champions, the Usual Suspects, hit the scene to keep Jones from winning the title. J-Rod came out with a steel chair to clear the ring, cracking the Cruiserweight champion across the back with it. But there are questions left to be answered. Why did Rob Adonis' hired guns save Buchanan's title? Has Adonis made a secret deal with the RPW Heavyweight champion? Or is Buchanan a victim of circumstance and truly working alone?

The gang mentality on January 15 did not end there. Colt Derringer defeated Rob Adonis with a little assist from the special referee, RPW owner Dr. Johnny Gayton. However, during the intermission, an angry Adonis abruptly stormed the ring with Charlie Cash. Knowing that Derringer had suffered a knee injury in the match, he challenged Derringer to another match later in the night. This time, it would be a Taped Fist match. Derringer, with all three RPW referees holding him back, came to ringside to declare that he drove through a blizzard on January 8 to get Adonis, so a knee injury wouldn't stop him. When the match began, Adonis quickly got the best of the weakened Derringer, busting him wide open at the start of the match. Despite the knee injury and the blood pouring from his face, Adonis still could not put down Derringer. With referee Jeff McGowan's attention diverted by Dr. Gayton and Charlie Cash fighting outside the ring, Adonis put the foreign object on his boot and once again cracked Derringer in the head with it. Before McGowan could count three, Dr. Gayton ran in the ring to pull the object off Adonis' foot. This once again led to the Usual Suspects and Sal Rinauro heading to the ring to continue the attack with Adonis on Dr. Gayton and a bloody, battered Derringer. However, help arrived quickly, as Cru Jones and J-Rod emerged from the back with the other RPW referees and Commissioner Nick Patrick following close behind to restore order. While RPW officials tended to Derringer, Patrick condemned Adonis and his thugs for their actions the entire night, issuing a fine of $2,500 to each of them. This led to a scary scene as A.J. Steele made threatening gestures to Patrick. Patrick announced that he was doubling Steele's fine to $5,000. Steele responded violently, grabbing Patrick by the neck and looked as if he was going to attack him. Adonis, Murder One, and Rinauro quickly calmed down the enraged Steele and convinced him to let go of Patrick, with Adonis offering to pay the extra $2,500 that Steele was fined with.

This explosion has led to the signing of a huge match on January 22. It will be 8-man, tag team warfare, as Colt Derringer, Cru Jones, J-Rod, & Dr. Johnny Gayton will take on “The Big Man” Rob Adonis, A.J. Steele, Murder One, & “Big Business” Mr. Jones!

Consequences Creed has done nothing but impress everyone with his performance in RPW thus far. The TNA star has risen to every challenge thrown at him since his arrival in RPW. He has managed to defeat both Frankie Valentine and Kyle Matthews in thrilling singles battles. But his biggest accomplishment to this point was winning the big 16-man battle royal on January 8. As per the stipulations set forth by RPW Commissioner Nick Patrick, Creed was allowed the opportunity to challenge for any championship in RPW that he wished. He has informed RPW of his decision and the match has been signed to take place this Friday night, January 22. Creed has chosen Sal Rinauro as his opponent and will attempt to become the new RPW Cruiserweight Champion!

In addition to all this action announced, Vordell Walker, Adrian Hawkins, and a whole lot more of the RPW stars will be in action this Friday night, 7:30pm at the RPW Arena @ Johnny G's!
