Results: Empire Wrestling Entertainment, 02/04/12, from Rossville, GA
Wow, what a crowd last night! The atmosphere had electricity in it as 200+ at The Empire saw Jason Hampton rid The Empire of Jerry "Friggin'" Anderson in a brutal "X-Treme Rules" match. In another high stakes match Drew Delight defeated 4 Empire Superstars, YES 4, to earn another title shot for The Empire Heavyweight Title, held by Rufus Black.
Andrew Alexander came out for what was supposed to be a singles matchup between he and Delight. After the ring announcements had been made, Alexander made his way to the announcer's table, brought out "The Illuminate`", and declared that Delight would have to defeat Johnny Viper, Brandon Collins, and Jason Collins BEFORE he would get to face Alexander. Drew did defeat them all in what turned into a Gauntlet Match. I thought the roof would come off the Empire Arena when Drew Delight won.
It was a great night at The Empire and we SINCERELY wish to thank the 200+ fans who came out to The Empire. For next week's show, February 11th, we do have 1 match to let you know about so far: Drew Delight vs. Empire Heavyweight Champion Rufus Black in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Title Match. Rufus Black will need The Reverend in his corner next Saturday night as Drew Delight mowed down "The Illiminate`" and "Devil's Reject" Andrew Alexander to get his shot at the Empire Heavyweight Title.
